1. Half of Eastern Europe live in goole now, just get over here and join em. Few nutters who like drinking and driving, and playing dodgems. And dumping mattresses in the alleyway. And doing the school run slutted up. And buying vodka at 6 in the morning.
2. Blue grease for the win. Or red if you've got it cos it looks cool
3. Get my side hop technique dialled properly, and learn big drops. Not get my arse handed to me EVERY event by a 12 year old (just most of them) and generally man the f**k up and get better
4. bing

The Angry Thread.

No. Just shoot the b*****d
5. Why not? Surely the whole point of a saint, is on or off braking? That's what you need for pure trials. And a small amount of slowing down
6. Yes. I have dual saints, never changing them
7. seriously? there is 10mm more disc hanging down, and I don't care about the weight when they are this good. it'll be 100 grams at the most. and I side hop the other way anyway. and if I break the blade frame, and old school urbans, I'll be very surprised. the mount on the frame is 10mm thick
8. he's 30 odd year old. just looks like a 12 year old. who chain smokes and has a 5 o clock shadow
9. <blockquote class='ipsBlockquote'data-author="rickyWakeman245" data-cid="2476558" data-time="1356906314">
if you are just starting trials, i would recommend the frame without a seat as it will be a bit lighter and you'll find it slightly easier to lift up the bike

cos that's exactly how it works. think you need a bit more than 3 posts before you start dishing advice out
10. Seriously old school cool build for the win
11. Snowflake front wheel!!! Not seen one of those for years
12. It was UPol black, got it from wilco motosave at the bottom of my street. Was £6 I think. Yeah the saints are epic, only gave £100 for them with the ice tech rotors, and the rear was only a couple of rides old when I got it as the lad who I bought them from had it replaced under warranty after a leak. It's added a small amount of weight to the build, but when they are this good i don't care
13. So here is another evolution, The major mod now, is that i have upgraded to saints front and rear, on 180mm ice tech rotors. These brakes are unbelievably good, and have the best feel of any brake I've ever had. I'm a definitely a fan of dual disk now, didnt like it before, preferred a hs33. Not any more. Double disk all the way Only proper thing I could do with doing now is a freewheel with higher ep's, but after reading seabass's ffw thread I don't think I'll bother, nowt wrong with my tensile 60 click
14. I asked him this yesterday, he said he was gonna use the same stem and bars as he has now, at which I was at great pains to explain it will be gash at anything else other than back wheel stuff. He just did his usual thing, which was tell me it'll be ok with a massive grin on his face. Can't wait to try it, although I think he'll need a high rise mod stem like mine
15. Unlucky that dave, ill see you at bracken as well, I'm not doing all the nationals, can't afford Scotland, or want to be away from my lad for that long. Don't fancy hook woods either to be honest after lasts years debacle (freak mechanical failure on Friday night before I left), Just gonna do radfest, bracken, Shipley and Newcastle. Am doing the full tykes season though
16. 2010 zoots had the tensile 60 click, they were downgraded after that.
17. Looks very strange with a 24" back wheel, what's the idea. Must make the front very light, like an mx bike. Shouldn't imagine it changes direction very quickly
18. Tensile 60 click mate. I'm a man near your stature (size) and its never skipped on me, so I would get one. Don't trust echo freewheels, after I saw my mate shatter a three week old one, and it was bedded in right. All the parts are available for tensile's and they are easy to get apart and maintain
19. Yeah bike number 2, and then you have some spare cash for new bars and stem, which will be a lot lighter and better geo
20. Or driver from a profile mini cassette hub, but you will still need to machine the hope axle and modify some spacers to suit. The driver bearings in a profile are the same as in a pro2 driver.
21. Looks ok that dude, dann2707 on here has some try all rage hi rise bars for sale, he doesn't want a lot of money for them either. Drop him a message. Think they are uncut as well, which means at least 720mm I think
22. Love those cranks, it'd be worth getting them for me, I'm not a heavy duty rider, and they look ace
23. Get some o/s high rise bars, it'll transform the way it rides for the better by 100%
24. Anyone can enter dude. It doesn't matter where you are from
25. Take the disk off, clean and degrease it, then put a sheet of 600 grit sandpaper on a flat surface, and rub both sides in a circular motion. Just rub hard enough to put small scratches on the surface. This helps bedding in no end in y experience. I found the Clarkes organic pads off chain reaction are the best ones. It's the same pads as a hope mono trial brake. Think they are about £4 at the moment
