  1. I ran 18/12 on my fourplay, but later changed to 18/13, but i needed a tensioner with 18/13' where as 18/12 didnt. 18/13 was the perfect compromise for street and comps
  2. Change to single speed, get a 16 t cog on the back. Light grind on the rims, and some plastic backed heatsink yellows to start with. If you shop around it shouldn't cost you much more than 50 quid
  3. You'll end up getting fat dave
  4. Cheeers dude, 'our kid' , is in fact my little sister charlotte, who is 26. Just had a little boy called lucas. And in typical fashion, has been left high and dry by the absent father, who is infact, a complete douche. He's had nowt to do with her for 9 months, and then turned up at the hospital all shiny and happy as if nowt had happened. What a willy Lol. Bloody southerners
  5. Is it the red one that was on pinkbike? They are good to start on dude, with decent brakes. get a grind on first, and some decent brake pads. but as soon as you start progressing you'll need something with more bb rise, as i recall these are about +5. When you learn how to pedal kick properly, decent ish bb rise helps out a lot.
  6. Thats what i was getting at earlier dude, you just explained it in a different way
  7. Not a fan of urbans on a stock, think curved blades ie trialtech or sl's look loads better. In my humble opinion anyway
  8. My echo team used to do this, its when you tightnen the bolt up and the motion makes the axle move backwards. It only has to move a few mm, and although your chain will still be tight, the kick motion pulls the wheel forward causing brake rub. Make sure the inside of your frame is clean and burr free, and the washers/cams/spacers are clean. Then tighten each side up 1/8 of a turn at a time. Worked for me
  9. You wanna drive to goole mike? You come in the car with me, there will be plenty of room. Should be un injured by then as well
  10. I did this very thing to a profile mini cassette hub. That's the main reason why I'd never run a free hub again
  11. That would be the perfect frame for me
  12. Don't seem 5 mins does it. Am off over Saturday morning to see them
  13. Got my new iPad, it's quality. And our kid has had her baby this week, although he's having a few problems. He's ok now, am now uncle bing!!!
  14. Same geo as an 09 fourplay. Think it 1035wb and +35 bb.
  15. Add me on fb dude. Dan chandler
  16. running 3 spacers is the only way to get a 22t sprocket to clear the frame so I'm led to believe. depends how wide the howitzer bb is though
  17. Going off skew a bit, does anybody have any experience with those profile elite hubs? or the halo SuperDrive? Have heard they are supposed to be quite good. A mate had a profile elite on his bmx and it sounded amazing
  18. gash. no other word for it
  19. cos that's not going to antagonise people much is it. talk about trying to keep the peace, or not as the case may be
  20. couldn't have put it better myself. you lot all need to grow up a bit. it's a bloke riding a bike who is slightly better than most of us at riding a bike. and someone took the time and effort to show us said bloke riding a bike. that's it pure and simple. not worth all this bitching

  22. same lever, just a post mount caliper instead of is mount on the mono trial. also mono trial brakes have a wider track disk and bigger pads
