  7. reginald d hunter. top class yank comedian. seen him quite a bit on have i got news for you.
  8. man up and ask her. if she says no, theres always her circle of friends to dabble in
  9. to clear things up, it's an old pub, that is waiting for renovation, on private land owned by one of our mates fathers. the only person who can put a stop to this is him or his dad. it's f**k all to do with the council or anyone else. it's our private riding spot and we are in control who rides it, so it gets looked after and maintained properly.
  10. been riding it for nearly 2 weeks now, and it just gets better. pads are properly bedded in now, and it does not slip one bit. properly recommend one of the brakes, for 40 quid you can't go wrong. 180mm rotor for the win as well
  11. it's gonna be in Doncaster, thought you were down Portsmouth way lad?
  12. there's at least 10 of them, including me. but if this place turns out to be the northern equivalent if barrow farm, you'd get masses of riders there. simple as that
  13. I'm in, as would all the Donny lads I imagine, and probably the hull/Leeds lot. maybe some scunny lads would come, but they've got their own spot. it's only a 15 min drive for me to carcroft
  14. I've rode dave kerr's rockman slate xl, and it has bars the same angle as Carthys more or less. the bar angle is stupid on the flat, and does hurt your wrists like hell. however, on the back wheel, you are nearly vertical and your hands are in the perfect place for big gaps. you can also get a load more power into gaps and stuff. it makes sense, but unless you are a massively skilled rider who can do real big stuff, you won't benefit from it in my mind. Carthy and dave are world class UCI level riders, and that's what works for them
  15. lol yeah i know. was just saying like. its worth you lot coming to the leeds christmas ride, nick manning and those lads came up last year, it was epic.
  16. theres about 20 odd of us just from scunny and donny. we had 10 at the group ride yesterday at our indoor spot
  17. have a go on my mod, with an echo disk on the front and a shimano 2012 deore on the back. everyone who I ride with comments how good the echo is, and how much bite and hold it has. and the rear shimano is epic as well, and it's brand new.
  18. Kenny is on extreme channel, sky 419 from 7.30pm to 8.30pm. just saying like
  19. so send it back and get it fixed under warranty then
  20. so get a 180 mm rotor and the right adapter. it's that easy and cheap

  22. I'm running an echo tr front, and 2012 shimano deore on the rear, with 180 rotors, on a mod. they are brutal. it's epic
  23. thats rather nice. makes me want another 05/06 cnc python. just a shame they dont come with a rear disk tab. i like the old school bike trial tyres. nice heavy solid feeling.
