  1. I'll more than likely be there. hopefully be dual disk by then as well
  2. don't know who the rep was, it was my mate who works in a bike shop who told me. this has since been confirmed by another mate who works in a different shop.
  3. I heard this as well. I knows lad who had to junk his saint for a hope because he couldn't get a piston seal. apparently the seal was only about a quid but shimano wanted to sell him an entire calliper
  4. rob is a retard. but we all know this, we just don't tell him in case it scares him
  5. +1. never in a million years could it be them that are doing it wrong, it's always a mechanical fault
  6. merlin 26 (seriously old school) mission prodigy base t19fd onza t rex 05 zoo python long Ashton edd tongue inspired fourplay 09 06 echo team 09 onza blade - current ride
  7. this old man does know a few tricks here and there
  8. was gonna say this but didn't want to appear to be trolling. good idea though Sam. for added easiness, you need a cut off spoke and nipple to ease the driving in process cough cough *awaits trolls*
  9. yeah think you have dude. I would put this in the for sale section, and put some prices on or your thread will get shut down. put it in there and ask the mods to close this one
  10. the awesome one will be mine then lad, I remember you saying. even cocky thought it were good
  11. Little blob of loctite on the adjuster solves this. I have a tr disk, nowt wrong with it. Like i mentioned in another thread, you gotta bed em in right and look after them. Everyone who has a go on my bike says how good it is and how nice it feels. Wish people would stop slating them. Just because they have had a bad experience doesnt automatically mean they are shit, as appears to be the case with most things on here after ONE bad experience
  12. old school. reminds me of my old merlin

  19. stings are 970wb. should be ok with a short stem and low rise bars
  20. me too!!!! then I went and bought one to train and help my old man get a bit fitter. it's quality. had it 3 weeks, and my trials riding has already improved through better fitness and energy levels. my steed and now I want a wiggins rep bike, a £14k pinarello dogma 65.1. I'll be able to afford it in about 50 years
  21. removing a massive amount of weight from the front end will make your bike a damn site easier to get up stuff. for an easy experiment, like I did, change the parts for the lighter ones, then tape a bag of sugar to the underneath of your stem. go and ride your fave spot for half an hour. then remove it and go ride again. you will get up bigger stuff straight away, as well as helping your mindset at the same time. the feel from ally will be loads better as well
  22. neither do I for trials. I wear just Lycra on my road bike, cos its aerodynamic and you DO notice the difference. but on trials bike, it's usually a compression top and my Oakley shorts. my road gear is not just plain Lycra, it's from the shop where I got the bike. Blagged the riding top for free
