  1. or go old school and get some 04`s or earlier, i run old school racelines in yellow, retro coolness. still work perfectly, get some decent pads and you are on a winner
  2. I make kitchen worktops and breakfast bars, program machines and all sorts of spannery
  3. my mistake, for I am not the font of all trials bike related knowledge. I'll retrospectively change it to +80 then
  4. that is a supreme level of gashness there pal. epic bodgery
  5. I'm not a basher, that's why it's in that condition. I have far too much mechanical sympathy to be a trials rider bb is +35. I had zoot forks on it, and after that echo sl's
  6. had a few mod frames now 05 zoo python(Cnc one) not sure of bb height, think its +60 +55 09 onza blade +50 07 echo team +70 ( I think?) 10 rockman Austin blade feels by far the nicest to ride, has the perfect wb at 1015, and it the lightest mod I've ever owned, at 8.4 kg. rockman felt very strange, but up on the back wheel I can see why they build them like that. makes sense. wouldnt like to ride owt higher than 70 though, doesn't in my opinion feel like it'd be nice to ride
  7. looks like my old frame, it's still in good nick though. it was immaculate when I sold it to ben
  8. another old un to join us in seniors next year then
  9. don't forget to use some lube as well, preferable thread cutting fluid. but wd40 or summat like that will do. blow all the shit out before you screw the helicoil in as well
  10. my onza blade, dan cox's onza comp, my old inspired fourplay, neon bow 2012, the list is rather large
  11. if you need more length on the axle to get it in the right place for your chain line, use bb spacers if the longest they do is 122.5. and shave a bit off your bash ring so it is closer to the crank. I did it on my inspired, with a 122.5 bb and chain line was right and plenty of clearance for my freewheel
  12. I didn't start full on trials riding until I was 29, which was the point in my life when a few things at home went pete tong, and I could finally afford a proper trials bike, and it has properly changed my life for the better. met loads of decent lads, and a couple of decent birds, messed about on just about every style of trials bike there is before settling on a double maggie mod. more importantly at my age now(31), it does me the world of good exercise wise, so much so my knee problems have disappeared. it's just like any other sport, there are a few dicks about and some elitism, but on the whole it's generally pretty good. and some ace events and places to go. glad I stuck at it now

nowt wrong with my cousts, and I'm 16 stone, and they hold rather well to say I'm johnny Vegas body double. never slipped on me. I'm with cox on this one, and quite a few lads I know swear by them. not as brutal as my heatsink yellows mind
  14. what bike you got mate. I have a 36h trialtech rim mod rim in the shed. I took it off when I wrecked my profile. it's had 2 grinds and is rawed. tenner and it's yours
  15. it rides like a dream. got a really high front end, it's really nice on the back wheel as well, and does street very well
  16. good point nige. any chance of getting this made into a sticky Tom? or Dave? make: echo model: tr pads: standard echo, red backed rotor: echo bike used on: onza blade with echo urban forks rotor size: 180mm good points: very good lever feel, massive bite and power. lever reach and bite point adjustable. bad points: lever is weeping a bit, and it takes a lot of bedding in in the right way or you get no bite and hold. conclusion: very good brake for the money, deffo have one over a mono trial any day of the week. the only brake I would change this for is a saint. no other
  17. am gonna sand blast the bash at work, and maybe my maggies. just got em working right, don't wanna strip em down just yet
  18. you'd love my onza now Sam, coxey thinks it rides well nice.
  19. updated a bit now, changed to a lighter front wheel, 03 hs33 with Cnc lever, coust front brake pads, new onza pro series rear wheel, tensile 60 click ffw, black mongoose grips and black wellgo flatties. it's built on a budget, I could get it maybe 5-600 grams lighter by throwing 200 quid at it. but 8.4 kgs will do for me
  20. for the princely sum of 20 of your finest English pounds
  21. looks like the disk side dropout/fork leg is twisted mate
