I ran a 113 on my pure - with a 22t middleburn set - no problems. I cant remember what shell width the pure is but i had a raceface bb with the spacer on and it worked fine so im guessing with the control being similar down there a 122.5 should give you bags of room...

didnt enjoy the video at all - the quality at the start was really bad - and i hated the music (but thats just me) but the riding was pretty good and later on the quality improved and there were a couple of really nice moves going on. keep it up

Thats the best half hour of nothing ive ever seen Your best vid by many miles... Really enjoyed it, ohler is a god and you werent bad neither !! Only one bit i didnt like - the rim wrecking part... impressive but frustrating got boored once near the start and then after that it started to flow really nice. good music too apart from the killers (not a fan) All in all Nice one

no youre not Overkill - used pretty much every effect available it seemed nice sidehops.
-
somehow i had seen most of the old ashton footage - which was annoying because i wanted to see his stuff more than all the others having said that - the akrigg stuff on the big square blocks was some of the most beautiful and inspiring riding ever on a trials bike. worth it just for that.

Hahahahahahahahahahaaaaaaaa That was just a joke. Only the other day i was wondering where this chap went and how the ol foot / ankle recovery had gone and well ..... fook his riding has gone up another notch. didnt really care for all the drop gaps but the hooks were awesome, the bunnyhops into front wheel were just absolutely the best thing ive ever seen anyone do, and the static gaps were obviously an illusion done with wires and mirrors. Tunni - The best magician on TF - or one of the biggest silliest riders ever. (and for once i thought the music were spot on)
-
Right well - i recently started learning to hook. and i can now do it pretty ok in that ive breached 60" but my technique is pretty pants still, and i rarely knock it up onto the back wheel.... At the moment i use the front brake a fair bit, but occasionally i find its not needed and makes the whole thing abit smoother (but this is usually on smaller stuff). So this is really a question to those who have got them down - Should i use my front brake or not ? oh and anything to help getting up to back wheel better ? Ta RJ

Ive changed houses - but its pretty much identical ... Tv attatched behind out of shot ....

without sounding too dim .... what cranks are those that the god is running ? they appear to be completely machined out - it that how koxx cranks are ? anyway kenny is too bloody good. quietly gets on with winning while all the other koxx people get all the press eventy type things EDIT: Bad hair in the first pic though ... 50's kenny...

there are no team jerseys because - at the moment a lot of riders are sponsored by clothing companies - eg ashton with his animal stuff, you were / are engage ? ? ? .. etc infact thats where a lot of the money comes in from . most of the riders would rather get a load more free stuff off a different sponsor and pull more companies into trials(a good thing), than wear a team jersey for their bike manufacturer. Also trials is different to other mountain bike sports (obviously im excluding mods) in that it is very much still classed as an extreme sport, even dh has now got real sport status and was even shown on grandstand. Im not sure where im going with this but lots of people are trying to break trials through to the mainstream, and im sure it will get there (one day) - im not sure how it will happen but it will. PS Porter is that your jerry maguire moment ?
-
obviously not me.
-
mods are silly bikes - Stocks are ridden by real men . . .. ... . . haha no I prefer stocks because i like that it is almost a "normal" bike and i dont feel like a fraud. mods also are just too hoppy for me - i like to be able to roll on my bike big wheels roll small wheels hop.

Bike Stolen-not Insured. Where Do I Stand On House Insurance?
manuel replied to Prawny Baby's topic in Trials Chat
bugger ... I more than others know what this feels like.... chances are if you are insured for theft of your things at uni the bike will be covered too - when locked in the uni halls..... however - you may have needed to contact to say that you were at halls before going - depends on your insurers.... other than that I think you would have a hard time getting money out of the uni - and pretty much kiss goodbye to the hope of seeing it again from the police.... chances are that it was stolen by some fanny who just tailgated into the hall behind someone else pretending to have a bike ... happened all the time at our uni - and with so many people in the halls they never asked to see some proof.... probably opertunist too - just lucky that your s was there ..... tip : never buy anything from apple - they are a bunch of bounders and cheats. over rated and overpriced..... shuffles are terrible. At the moment Ive got a samsung 2GB flash jobbie - which was about 80 quid - its pretty mega. ditch the headphones for some sennheisers and you are sorted. Im sure there is more out there now though so just take a good look round. stay away from companies like apple and sony.... as they use dire software and have music protection bollox which is sheite. although that being said - if you want battery life and pretty good sound get a sony flash player (although the down points are really appauling software and super slow transfer...)- 80 quid gets you 1gb and about a week of continuous play - or at least did a while ago...

hows the dent youve allready put in it.....

Nice Nice Nice riding... but what is it recently about videos that just seem to have a random song on in the background (love the foos though) that ends and then the vid carries on just the same without ? ? ? surely pick a longer song or use two ? other than that I loved watching it because Stan Shaw looks as smooth as silk when he is riding a bike - even on the rocky stuff - bit of a feat.
-
you are missing some bolts.... nice bike... but spray it..... colour is good.
