Talk to dave marshall.... He has a loverly custom built Ti mod hub - you could ask him how to get one machined - pretty sure its a disc one as he had a double disc'd revel . . . . .

bloody hell - when did you get Koxx uk ? 1100 - thats abit of a change then . .. were you not on an onza only recently ? im not the tallest chap in the world - and i ride a 1060 pure - and its pretty light and i dont find it hard to bunnyhooop n stuff - 1060 you can still ride streety ish.

Yeah i would like to ride one but there are a few things that put me off . . . . 1) Transport - expensive and difficult .. .. 2) I got abit put off when i went to watch the devon national round a year ago - for a couple of reasons - everyone was taking it soooo seriously (loads of bike throwing and competitive dads) and the actual course was a little dissapointing - considering it was a national round..... but the main problem is the transport . . . Plus my bike aint really set up for it - I hear you need brakes that work (N) ....

Its just that usually bike companies use material that was used in other industries - such as in building aeroplanes - then the technology filters down that way - like the carbon fibre example ...... starts out in F1 or something with limitless funding - ends up in a bike many moons later. I dunno - it just seems unlikely that a bike company would be solely responsible for making a new type of super aluminium alloy. i would have thought someone else would have done it and they bought rights but i guess im wrong then - i guess if a bike company makes an alloy it might be more suited to bikes !!!

You have to remember that ti is notch sensitive . . . . . meaning that if you scratch it you get stress concentrations at the scratches leading to failures. . . . not exactly ideal for trials - where frames are expected to be scratched and knocked. Plus you have to weld them in inert gasses - tricky !! This new stuff sounds abit like marketing bull from trek mind - if it were that great - no one would use anything else - and it is unlikely to be someting trek invented !!!

I agree - its a total C*** Its going ok - Ive been rolling around on the bmx for the last 4 weeks..... so when i got back on the trials bike the other day - it felt a little odd !! still got another 4 weeks or so in the cast - but i can now ride a little trials (maybe im not supposed to though) I actually managed to tap it up the lloyds yesterday :lol: but front wheel moves and side hops are out .....

Not quite true is it . . .. ? maybe i dont understand what you have said but speakers most definately do need power pushed into them - otherwise you wouldnt be able to hear them - the electric makes the cone go in and out. . . . So the set up is youve got line out from your PC and plugged that straight into a speaker... and its not very loud ( :unsure:" ) . Buying expensive audio cable will not make the thing noticeably louder - 10 inches of cable aint very far to make a huge loss of the signal...... The only thing you can do is stick an amplifier in the way - where did you get the speaker from ? a CD player - what sort - you may be able to bodge that up as an amplifier

The fading is because well I dont really know how im gonna put it together ... didnt want to give too much away either - its really just a quick burst of some riding - I kept the really good lines back .... On the filming front - boon obviously filmed the old stuff - all the stuff in gold is me and me flatmate (with the semi fisheye). HAHA TOLD YOU BOON - IM NOT ALONE . . . . .

Ok Hi - You may or may not know I broke my wrist (scaphoid) falling off on a sidehop (getting my feet caught up in the pedals....) anyway - I had just started filming again for a new video so I got it on camera :D anyway I thought id show you ... (notice I picked the bike up with the offending arm straight away - hence not going to the doctor for 1.5 weeks !! :) ) Plus on the end are some short clips - much like a trailer for what i was going to put together . . . . so in 7 WEEKS ( :S ) there will be a proper video. not being funny but there is no point getting a decent amp and speakers if you are only going to plug in an ipod mini !!!! the sound quality from one of those is pretty poor, plus its coming from an mp3 or apple bollox source which has already reduced the quality somewhat........ Its only worth getting a quality amp if you have a quality source . . . . . .

BUGGER ....... Yesterday I went to the nurse about my wrist (fell off a week n a half ago) she sent me to the doctor who sent me to the BRI for an urgent Xray - who sent me to another A+E doctor who put a f**kING CAST ON FOR 4 - 6 WEEKS (Y) Turns out ive broke my scaphoid bone - which apparently controls 80% of the movement in your hand and is very bad if you leave unfixed. (summut to do with a weak blood supply structure . . . ) so moral of the story is - go to the doctor if you fall and hurt your wrist . . . . . or - just dont fall off. anyway - Ill still be along - but deffo just rolling on the bmx . . . .
