  1. As big as poss really. Scoobys are a bit garish, (not that I wouldn't have one) are good ones hard to find? ideally I'd like a sleeper, so the missus won't notice I bought it for fun instead of practicality
  2. I've been looking for a good bhp estate for under 1k. I was thinking 9-5 23t, v70r even an st200 (if I could find a good one) is there anything that fits the bill I'm overlooking?
  3. Yeah, kinda. I reset the slave and sanded the pad levelish, it hits the rim fairly square on now. It'll be ok once it bedded in again.
  4. easy jap parts is about 10 seconds from my house, I had some bits for my rx at a decent price. Dunno about shipping costs to you though. http://www.yell.com/biz/jap-parts-birmingham-ltd-birmingham-4946115/ *hahahaa. Hadnt seen that review. Theyre ok, never had a problem myself.

    Films!?

http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/topic/147518-films/page-64 middleish of this page for some thoughts Came here to mention a film and totally forgot what it was
  6. Never rode trials?? How did you end up here then?
  7. what jd said Just like to point out here that I did have some styleee back in the day
  8. Why are these things so far away (Is my thought )
  9. and apparantly a feeling you got addicted too
  10. Are you going to ride it??? (on the face of it that sounds like a daft question, but you only said frame so it could be a wall decoration).
  11. Pretty much. Except the last few threads get pushed outward when you drive the insert tool in, locking it in place. I used the 7.6 mm carbon steel version but theres also 10&12mm inserts and a stainless option. Not as cheap as a helicoil but I'd recomend them for longevity.
  12. Haha. Yes I used to ride my bmx sooo much walking felt well odd, couldn't think what to do with my arms, my balance was poor and found it hard to keep a constant speed! It comes back if you stay off your bike for a while.. but why would you want to do that
  13. Time-sert tastic I managed to strip one thread, thought it best to preempt another problem and sert them all while I was there.
  14. i think theres something lost in translation there dude.
  15. *wear. Not as in wolf I'll make it beautiful again I was being a pedantic twat while setting the slaves, they were perfect when I left home. Can the bite be that good it moved it?? Haha
  16. After looking a bit harder.. even though I took about an hour setting the brake some how I got one of the pads to toe out quite a lot, which explains the ware on that side, other side hasn't worn overly
  17. After a brief interlude, (and an out of pocket experience) I've finaly tried the trimps out They perform really well loads of initial bite and noise didn't feel them slip once. I haven't tried them wet yet. They bedded in fairly quickly on my harshish grind, so they may ware down quicker than id like, guess I'll find out. Interested to see what other people think of them as I'm not exactly gods gift to trials
  18. Aarghh! Suck me right off!! It happened again
  19. Fair call. Not got any bolts you cpuld compare them to? Ideally a thread guage and a vernier
  20. Son of a whore! Just wrote a huge easay of a topic and lost the c.unt!
  21. What colour are you going for? (there is a good range already) for a fiver why not get some new ones and keep them as spares?
  22. Don't look.. if you hadnt said it I wouldn't have! Now I'm scared for life The skittles one made up for it though
