  1. I hate guys like you that do things w/o brakes that I will never do with brakes. Very good riding indeed!
  2. WTF. I thought is was just a trials forum argument but never thought it was gonna reach that point.
  3. Tried to get Cousts out of the backing and was surprised, that this wasn't possible... Wanted to glue them into my TNN backings. I put the yellows in instead and am curious on how they work on my ECHO SL rim.
  4. So Goodridge housings for HS33 aren't recommendable?
  5. Goodridge has all the parts you need. It's expensive though.
  6. Why don't you just tell us what frame you're running. I rode this combination on my Echos and it worked just fine. The High Roller isn't a huge tyre to start with.
  7. I suppose that in Italy rain is not that big of a deal but were I live, I've ridden more in the wet than in the dry.
  8. And what do you do when it's wet? Don't tell me you don't ride in the rain.
  9. I thought is was the other way round.
  10. I wanna know the setup and will run it just like that if it means that I don't have to grind my rims anymore. Only downside to this is when it's wet I can imagine.
  11. Damn! Would be nice to see Damon and him have a nice little contest. What I am wondering about is how Bershas brakes work as they do being used a non ground rim and all...
  12. Plus the sintered pads do take a while to bed in. Also, the 4-pot brakes seem to have a slightly squishier feel to them.
  13. Just to verify what you guys have said already. I went back to my Trialtech SL disc forks with all the other necessary alterations (coming from Try All Carbon Forks with Racing Line brake) and don't notice any difference. Then again, it's just around 250-300gr. added. What I do notice is that the front end is stiffer even though I cannot explain why. The Try All Carbons should be stiffer than the Trialtech SLs. Anyway... I get up as high as before, which really isn't a surprise.
  14. That's what I wanted to hear! Thanks Mark!
  15. When will the new Trialtech parts be available? Especially interested in the BB7 pads. The pads DO look a lot like the Jitsie ones.
  16. Thanks guys for all your input.
  17. The part of the diamond disc. Works very well for me.
  18. I disagree... I'll post up a picture of my rear wheel grind after having ridden for a longer period.
  19. Especially because this time it's a black dude doing some good. Unlike these other videos where they picture them to be all criminals.
  20. I don't think it's that much but in order to know that one would have to see your bike and its specs...

    Titanium bolts

    but the T50 bit...
  22. And it's not gonna be 1kg. I went back to front disc for almost the same reasons.
  23. I think it's the pads rim combo. Is this a Trialtech rim?
  24. I think it's the pressure you apply and also the angle you use but you'll probably get better answers by other more experienced grinders on this forum.
