  1. So I've tried a million times to improve my side hop technique but I just can't really let go off the rear brake. The funny thing is though, that if I do the jump like in the pictures of my first post, I let go of the brake. I think I will do this a lot from now on and then, once I'm stable in this technique, try to transfer it to the side hop. It isn't really any different except that you land rear wheel first. It also kinda feels nicer not having to put the front wheel down first.
  2. They saw Damon's "Level 1" video and rolled their bars back!
  3. And the wheel might be not as strong as it's not symmetrical. Also the QR sucks.
  4. That all may be very well but Trials parts, in comparison to MTB parts are less quality. We've had that discussion some time ago already where people said that the price would be way higher for trials parts if they were produced+tested in the same way MTB parts are. Since I've started trials I've had so many shit parts in my hands that cost a fortune compared to other MTB parts that were way better quality for a resonable price. Trialtech are the exception though. Thoroughly satisfied with their products.
  5. I don't think it was only one. I also think that there was no testing done and if so, by riders that are Pros, weigh little and ride very smoothly.

  7. Ok. Didn't know that as I don't know the names.
  8. For the ones that don't know the names of the riders, you may want to put the name of the video in the poll.

Seems too easy for him this stuff.

    Dada Macaskil

And some shoes. He mostly rides in Flip Flops .
  11. The tires aren't that bad if you use the right pressure.
  12. I don't think the numbers sold, or not sold for that matter, in the US and UK have to do with the name.
  13. Whatever it takes to win. If this is the case he made a very smart move.
  14. Exactly. The BB7 works just as well with the SLX Rotor. Pad width is pretty much spot on for it.
  15. SLX RT-66 will to the job just as well.
  16. Yeah I guess you're right. If you've got the money and weigh only 60kgs... I'd like to ride a bike like this but given that I'm at 91kgs at the moment, my bike just got heavier in order to work well for me.

    Hubs

Unfortunately, there aren't many options so people tell you what's good and what's not. I just wonder what it is that you don't like in the Hope hubs.
  18. That's hot but give it Damon and I think it doesn't survive one riding session. Can't see Sapim Laser working, especially with such a light rim.
  19. Not for the good riders no... And some Magura MT8 or Hope Tech whatever have more bling.
  20. They weigh around 150gr. more each brake compared to the Hope Trialzone with Tech 3 Lever.
