  1. You work in a bike shop and allow yourself to ride a bike with hose like that haha. Just shorten them. You don't need fluid for shortening :')
  2. Really enjoyed that, takes me back to my first year of riding on my Carrera mountain bike
  3. If you're building up a shiny new bike then Ti bolts are the icing on the cake, But depending on the spec of your bike would determine whether or not they're worth it. I prefer the torx head ones over the socket cap type for the reasons as mentioned, rounding off a £3 bolt is devastating
  4. That is an echo freewheel. A normal 4 prong tool will work but I'd recommend nut and bolting it through the crank hole and clamping the tool In a vice. As for servicing, undo the lock ring, make sure you have a container ready for when all the bearings fall out. Flush it out with some form of meth' spirits. Grease the bearing race and reassemble.
  5. Genuinely the first G video I've managed to watch before it's taken down. Riding was surprisingly good.
  6. Knock the one that's there further down. Put the stem on mark the steerer, remove the stem and cut away.
  7. Why ask for help if you're going to disregard it anyway. The problem is with air in the system. If you push the pistons back and forth a few times whilst pulling the leaver all the air will go into the master cyclinder and stop the problem.
  8. Granite walls up to rear is ridiculous.

    Help!!

    Cones not set correctly
  10. service kits are slightly different between stealth and externals. Putting a new set of seals in should certainly sort the air leak but the slight dropping you're getting is caused by the damper and you can't service the damper from home that need to be sent to sram tech.
  11. I was also you about to recommend Sugru

    The Angry Thread.

Slightly different situation but I had 2 accidents and a speeding ticket the year before last and insurance crippled me, last year I paid £1700 with budget van insurance, this year it's £850 with lloyds bank.
  13. 241 is only a medium strength loctight. Try some 242. I've even used loctight superglue in the past with success.
  14. Looks wicked. If you want to build a second with your spare parts I have some brand new frames for cheap.
  15. Never heard of space monkey before, what is it all about? Regardless the northern lot will make an appearance.
  16. Had a pair of the Carthy ones on my Crewkerz. The lever blades were a nice shape and didn't bite into my finger as much as racing line ones did. It took a bit of messing to get the brake feeling anywhere near as good as an 05 HS33 but once I stretched the spring and got a decent water bleed in there they seemed to perform equally as well.
  17. Are the bearings sat all the way home? Did you use a freehub tool to knock the freehub seal in?
  18. Video a regular clock for 24 hours and then time lapse it?
  19. Depends on your weight. Start of with about 15psi in the rear and 20 in the front and work from there.
  20. French Coust Pads or TriLite CNC backed green pads. Maxxis Swampthing super tacky if you can get hold of one. If not probably a Schwalbe Fat Albert
  21. Bit of a long shot but I'm looking for a new set of HS33s can't seem to find any new ones on the net. Doea anyone have a link for some.
  22. Quickest way is to just disassembled, clean out any grease from the pawls and ratchet and then assemble. No run in period will be needed afterwards.
