It's old news, and you definitely didn't need to post it twice. Anyway, hope the guy gets better. http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....howtopic=107452

You gotta be careful though as head angle affects the reach loads, if you keep the same wheelbase. For example, a 1095 wheelbase bike with a 74 degree head angle will 'feel' as much as 4cm longer than one with a 70 degree head angle, all other things being equal. You can do the calculations of you like, I did them a while ago and I seem to remember that a 1 degree change in head angle will change the wheelbase by about 1cm (obviously keeping everything else the same).

Oh yeah, whoops. You can't see the FS section if you're not a member. I'll edit my post above to link to one of the other forums. The FS forum is more clever than the others though since you can filter several icons at a time. On that forum they have UK FS UK Wtd UK Bargains US FS US Wtd US Bargains etc So you can filter just the "UK FS" ones if you want. But there are also icons for "UK" which shows all the threads with a UK icon (so UK FS, UK Wtd and UK Bargains etc). This might mean that, on here, you might have... Stock Wtd Mod Wtd Stock FS Mod FS Off topic Wtd Off topic FS etc ...And you could click to select only Mod topics (which would include Mod FS and Mod Wtd) or only FS topics (I.e. Stock FS, Mod FS, OT FS),

Urgh yeah, Vista looks terrible. The Aero glass is just Mac OS X ripped off but looks shite whilst not being as useful. Exposé rocks my world - it's pretty and I use it all the time for switching apps. It makes me smile at how cool it is every time I use it - which is impressive since I've used it constantly for the last 18 months. Whereas that Aero 3D window flip thing just does the same thing Alt-tab but in a slower, more annoying way. Reason #463 why my mac Pwnzorz

That doesn't quite fit though - only about 10% of people are left footed for football or left handed. Whereas it's about 40% left foot forward in trials IIRC and about the same proportion goofy for skating/snowboarding/surfing.

Like me? I set my Powerbook the task of encoding a DVD to h264 last night. Handbrake (the software) suggests that it should be able to do it in real-time on a computer with my spec. The video is 1hr20 long. So far it's been encoding for... 11 hours. WTF I think people who trash macs for no real reason are just as annoying as the people who harp on about how great they are. Although it's probably a response to how annoying the Apple fanboys can be. Anyway, I like mine, and I've never needed any software that isn't available for it. So shutyomouth, mmmkay? That was either the dumbest response to what Tom said or the greatest possible. I can't quite work it out

Yeah. I applied for a Bursary and it suggested that my parents ought to be giving me £6k per year. Therefore they weren't going to give me any money. Er...

What about a thread filtering system? They have that on HERE (Not that I go on a geeky forum like that, mind ) - you just click a filter at the top and it shows you only threads with that icon. Every time you make a thread, you have to choose a filter. So you could have filters for FS/WTD/Swaps as well as Mod/Stock/Off Topic/etc or something? I doubt Tom/Danny/Simon will be coding anything like that, but as I understand it there are loads of hacks for the forum software that people make. I guess the filter hack is available somewhere - though whether it's available for the IPB software we have, I don't know.

According to the website there's 4-5 audio outputs. If the left speaker isn't working, you may have been sold a dud on eBay. It may well work if you buy a separate surround sound amp and speakers though.

Some of the Skull Candy ones do get good reviews, but I get the impression they're mostly about the fashion rather than sound quality. http://www.thetechlounge.com/article/194/S...ers+Headphones/ Grado SR60s? A bit out of your price range but supposed to be very good!

Yeah, he goes under the stupid name Dave85.

Hmmm, that's interesting. I'm right foot forward, and spin anticlockwise, sidehop to left. And regular (snowboarding) = left foot forwards. I seem to remember from a poll we did a while back that there was about a 3:2 split with slightly more people being right foot forwards. That's roughly the same as the ratio of people who are regular vs goofy stance. So it would make sense if the people who ride regular stance are right foot forwards on a bike... I have a theory. Regular stance = left foot forwards = left hand forwards. So you're kinda moving towards your left. When you're right foot forwards on a bike, the 'correct' way to sidehop is to the left. Coincidence?

Lasagne. Although today I had spinach & ricotta tortellini with a tomato & mascarpone sauce. With sausages on top.

Er, ok?

And taps (less likely to hang up on the wall), and hooks I think.

Yeah, I think the UN54 is pretty much the only option nowadays - unless you can find an old UN53 or 73. I've heard that the hollow axle is a good thing, since bottom brackets always break at the end of the crank bolt thread, because it's a stress riser. Having a straight-through axle eliminates the stress riser, apparently. Anyway, the theory is that it's just as strong and lighter. I've got one. But I've never broken a BB anyway so can't really comment on strength.

Yeah DDR266 = 133MHz = PC2100. It's not THAT old. And yeah, that RAM you linked to should work fine for a desktop system (not laptop). Your motherboard may well go faster than 133, but you CPU probably won't go much higher. Depends what it is though.

Ooooh that makes far more sense

I'm with Adam on this one.

Stop trying to confuse me The priory's at least half a mile from the canal.

It depends on the LEA though. Last year I got my first installment at the beginning of August, this year I didn't get it until half way through October. Maybe it's just Lancashire that's rubbish.
-
After Easter. Dunno exactly when but everyone seems to get it at different times so you won't get a solid date.

There's no way of adjusting the idle speed according to the Haynes manual, looks like it's all electronic unfortunately. It's distributor. So should I change the HT leads/spark plugs? You do that every year?
