  1. It may well be that you don't have enough hard drive space to allow the virtual memory to work properly. If it still doesn't work, delete some crap you don't need until you have at least 1Gb of space free on your hard drive and restart the computer, then try again
  2. Much better I didn't really know where to put this, but it may as well be here. LINK. Those 30" screens are £1800 each. And he has 3 Rediculous to be honest.
  3. Disconnect the internal speaker - problem solved (More like out of sight out of mind...)

    Pc And Mac?

Well I've not used anything before Tiger, but yeah, they supposedly have got faster each time. Obviously you can get little updates (like in Windows), but the major revisions (E.g. from Panther to Tiger) you have to pay for, in the same way you have to pay to go from Win 98 > 2000 > XP > Vista etc. Sorry Nick, I kinda started that as a bit of a Joke that backfired Of course. You can get MS Office for Mac anyway, it gets really good reviews. A lot of (Mac-loving) people will tell you that it's better on the Mac than on the PC. I dunno about that, I've never used it. So obviously that uses the same file types as the PC version. Then there's OpenOffice.org which works fine also and you can save to .docs etc. Pages (Apple's own word processing thing) can read .docs but it can't (or won't ) save as .docs. I use Pages because it's easy and quick and simple, just what I need for taking notes and stuff. If I need office compatibility I use OOo
  5. But they would be mushy as hell and you'd have to have an insanely straight wheel.
  6. Oh hush you I don't think it's anything the average trials rider needs to worry about, anyway. Was Bigman's disc on the wrong way?
  7. I think I have a couple of spare tyres (Tioga DHs), that's about it. I'll see how much it is to get fixed and sprayed (Anyone know? Or even know where I can get it done?)
  8. Plenty of people put their discs on the "wrong" way around, it doesn't really make any difference. I never heard of anyone cracking a disc...
  9. Oh dear. Please get a higher-res version of that picture, or even just centre it, it looks horrible like that!

    Tyres

Super Tacky (42a) seem to last fine and grip very well, and I have heard that the 40a wear out much quicker. Just make sure you get the dual ply for the back. And as Tom said, 2.7 is probably overkill. I had one on my 24" and it folded all the time, though that was on a pretty narrow rim (32mm or something).
  11. Well it's me who's selling And yeah I probably would, although that would depend on who's paying for the welding.
  12. Mr Margaret Thatcher I think so, yeah. And on that funky one-tubed Giant trials frame.
  13. Hmmm. I think I ought to just get a Leeson and hang the Ashton up on my wall
  14. Chainstays are generally a bit fatter and presumably stiffer than seat stays. I guess that's one potentially good thing. On the other hand it would be hard to set up and you run a greater risk of getting oil all over the pads...
  15. How about one with a crack but is still in one piece for £100?
  16. While you're here, how do you find that back brake on the back of the frame thing? Must be a bitch to set up? As for cutting down bars, I run some cut-down Eastons on my Ashton and they're ok. I'm not really down with the whole wide bar thing, I never found them to help. At the moment mine are pretty narrow (25" ish) and I can do everything the same. The only real advantage that I've noticed is with X-ups, but that's not exactly important. It might help for manuals too, but I am crap at them anyway so I couldn't tell you.
  17. It's probably spyware pop-ups not actual internet popups. Aside from running Adaware and Spybot S&D, I dunno what to suggest.
  18. Definitely a black Maxxis, otherwise people like me will look at your bike and think: You would rather put looks above performance. If Hot S's weren't red, no trials riders would use them. They're just not good!
  19. Here's a pic: Different paint job since TM2, I guess it's been back for repair or something. Looks nice now I reckon, I was gonna get a green one. Anyway: Forks look like modified pashleys, tyres are both tiogas. Front looks like a Comp III, back one is probably a Factory DH. I wouldn't recommend them though, no matter who uses them As for bar and stem I'll let someone else answer because I can't see from the pics. But the stem looks like an Easton.

    More Word Puzzles

9 planets in the solar system? These are too hard Are you allowed to cheat and use Google?
  21. Angled text is OK, but that is too steep. You have to really crane your neck to read it. Also you've got 3 different angled bits, which are all at slightly different angles. Without reading the small print, I'm totally unaware of what the flyer is for. Even after I've done that I'm still a bit confused. Is it just skateboarding hardware, or are we talking clothes, shoes etc? And as for the colours, they are sooo early 90s. Take a look around at people's clothes and flyers for other companies. Get rid of the blue. I also think it probably needs some graphic in there somewhere. Maybe a T-shirt or a logo or whatever.
  22. I don't think I've understood any of your posts from the past three days
