Erm, yeah that's true but you can't really do it on yourself (moving your hands will tense your stomach muscles slightly so the test won't work properly). Which is one reason why you'd need to be examined by a doctor. Not even a qualified doctor would be stupid enough to tell you that you were fine simply by reading what you've written on a forum, let alone people on TF.

Sounds like yu need to go to a&e really. No one is going to be able to give you a diagnosis over the Internet. The other options are go to a walk in centre (I don't know if there are any near you?) or go to any gp and get an appointment as a temporary resident. You probably know what gps are like though, I'd go down to a&e I guess.

I would have thought that your DH would be better than the clash for everything? The Clash is a very basic beginner board whereas the DH is a top-end all-mountain board really. Weird.

Yeah you're right about the length being more to do with weight than height. But there aren't any real rules, and like people have said, it depends on what you'll be riding. Park = short boards (you could probably ride a 153) and powder/carving = long (up to 170). Most people ride something in between, exactly where in between depends whether you prefer jibbing or, er, "shredding" hard. If you are planning on riding off piste (particularly powder) a lot, or even just cruising pistes, you might have more fun on a slightly longer board. At size 10, you won't want a wide board - I'm size 9.5 and I certainly don't. Wide boards are supposed to be more cumbersome and harder to ride anyway, so people tend to avoid them if at all possible. If you are on the border between normal and wide, you can get some boots are designed to be smaller so you can use a narrow board (my Salomon boots are like this). But I don't think that will apply for you anyway - It's only when you get to about size 12-13 when you would think about that, and it depends how much you learn if you do aggressive carves (And therefore catch your toes on the ground). Personally I never really carve anyway so it's never happened. I'm sure you've read other people's advice so you've probably seen that people will recommend buying the boots that fit best at whatever cost. Then spend the rest on board/bindings. I know it seems stupid and easy to ignore but it's probably good advice. Bad boots can ruin a week for you with pain, whereas comfy boots are just amazing. I say this after having used cheap boots for several weeks before actually buying some decent ones. As for boards, I don't really know. I've never heard of Boron boards but they might be OK. It looks good, anyway! I'm sure you can find some reviews though. I've heard pretty good things about true snowboards - they're a small rider-owned company run by some girl who did a PhD in Snowboard design (apparently the first person ever to do this!). And they're cheap (+student discount). I'm not sure on the graphics though (and I'm not too ashamed to say that's half the reason for buying a board).

She's a pedantic panda. See what I did there?!

Pikes are quite trendy I think. They're nice and stiff, plush as owt, and adjustable travel means you can wind them out for trail riding /slopestyle stuff if you wish. Maybe a bit expensive though.

So, if Dan is to be believed, he will sort out everyone's problems if they get in touch? But no one can actually get in touch because Dan runs a pretty large business from a mobile phone? This sounds like a totally unnecessary problem - either the phone system is inadequate (sort it out?) or Dan is choosing not to answer phone calls. Neither option seems like a very good way to run a business, but I guess that's for Dan to decide. Hopefully he will sort everyone out and be able to provide a better service in the future This is not exactly the first time people have had a moan at TUK - There are plenty of people in this thread alone. Whereas other online shops (In the spirit of moderator impartiality, I will mention no names ) can probably count on one hand the number of disappointed customers they've ever had. I guess people will buy from whoever they want, but I've heard so much bad stuff about TUK over the years, I'm surprised he gets any business.

I've got it done at Max Speilman before. It's not terribly useful though - all the pictures come out at some stupidly low resolution (800x600 or something). So OK for facebook but not much use for manipulating/re printing. Depends what you want them on your PC for I guess.

I spent a little while on Google and found the list without too much difficulty. I wouldn't bother though, it's really not that interesting. Sigh...

Wow. Just wow. These are pretty hilarious viewpoints on their own but even more ridiculous when taken together. Are you for low coat housing or not? If so, what about the OMGDruggies? If not, where are the single mothers going to live?

Any videos of that hook? It's taller than me, and it looks like he kept it to back wheel

Have you downloaded the picture yet and zoomed right in?
-
That one really pissed me off because I was zoomed right in and the writing was off the screen so impossible to see on my laptop. Would have been dead obvious on a bigger screen.

Look at the title. 'Anything' has 8 letters, 'string' has 5.

I hate games like this, soooo infuriating and unrewarding. But I still feel compelled to do them... Can anyone give me any hints for level 11?

I'm pretty sure that the police aren't allowed to be members of the BNP - apparently some merseyside copper got sacked because of this. Not sure about doctors though.
-
Er yes? Discriminating on race grounds is racism?
-
Not that accurate, but apparently they are fairly reliable - I.e. you can see if your BP is going up or down.
-
An organisation that only allows white members is, by definition, racist though?
-
Yep that's pretty old. But still an awesome game. Should work with any phone that will do Java games - I.e. most modern mobiles from the past 3-5 years.
-
No that's perfectly normal. Anything less than 100 is 'normal' (In fact, anything less than 60 might be considered abnormal) and like I said I don't believe it's got a whole lot to do with doing exercise. Don't worry, sure you're fitter than me

I refer you to what Bongo already said - If you run into the back of someone, it's ALWAYS your fault (unless they've just pulled out as Bongo said). Also you HAVE to be able to stop in the distance that you can see. In Jarrod's case, what if instead of a car stopped in the middle of the road, it was an 8 year old girl who's just fallen off her bike and is sat in the middle of the road?

Interesting idea. Realistically though, are you going to send a frame over here? Prepare for the onslaught of people shouting me, me, me! In 3...2...1...Go!
