  1. Wow, wasn't expecting that. That's great news
  2. I SAID IT AS A JOKE AND I TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR FOR THE SHITNESS OF THIS THREAD
  3. See that? That's democracy - letting people have their say even though it's stupid
  4. If you really want it open again, I'll open it. If that's what you're into.
  5. My, what great instinct you have
  6. We totally need a 'post a picture of your keys thread'
  7. Definitely not We could also probably use an Apostrophe Aadvark and a Sibilance Snake (See what I did there?).
  8. You wouldn't see much with a camcorder on an arthroscopy
  9. Since when has "me stood on a nail" been good spelling?
  10. I'm only sarcastic most of the time.
  11. But people can't hear the tone of your voice. Texts --> more misunderstandings for sure.

    Pashley Ghz

    That's a MHz not a GHz though...
  13. Hmmm, there's a lot to go wrong - two sets of pawls/ratchet, and all those teeny planetary gears. At least in 22t mode it's all locked down so you might be safe in your trials gear. It sounds awesome but I can't help but think there's too much to go wrong. One thing though - It looks as though it has a freewheel which doesn't make sense if you're running a freehub on the back as well. Maybe mountain bikes will go trials bike style and end up with FFW?!

    Postman Pat

Yeah but Rowan isn't a Manc scally postman - The ones up here are shit. They NEVER carry parcels with them, and they don't knock on your door - they just stick a card through saying "Sorry you were out" (I've caught them doing this on three occasions) so I have to go to the sorting office and pick it up, and the queue is always out of the door because of it - I queued for over an hour for a parcel the other day. Can you sense the anger? It's because I've got to go and stand in that queue again today

    Postman Pat

If they're gonna change Pat to make him more like modern postmen, they should make sure that he never delivers parcels, and steals money from birthday cards.
  16. I don't understand how people do that. I get pissed off at constantly having to write texts and I only use 300 a month or so. Ringing people is sooooo much better.
  17. Most people our age will have lifelong tetanus protection. But it's not just tetanus, you can get all kinds of infections. Obviously it's probably worth checking with a GP - especially if it's getting hot/red/painful/oozy.
  18. I don't really know the bottom line on that one, but that doesn't seem like a good enough reason. If the surgeon is doing something wrong or has poor technique etc then he (or she these days ) should be accountable for that. But it might simply be a logistical problem - I.e. they don't know exactly who will be doing the surgery, or who will be around to operate the video machine etc. I don't know why they didn't let you take the spleen home though. Probably it's just easier to say no and then they don't have to worry about it. P.S. Why were you asking about when you would be able to play football, and not asking about when you'd be able to ride?

    Neither are 36t bashrings...
  20. In Communist Russia, the forums clog YOU! etc
  21. Yeah, the iPhone tariffs aren't ideal if you're a heavy texter, even if you go up to £75. It's a bit weird. Email is miles better though, but hardly anyone has email on their phone so SMS isn't dead just yet.
  22. I was pondering this the other day. When they were new and expensive, they were trendy and wearing white headphones made you look like a nonce. But I came to the conclusion that since everyone has one these days, they can't be a fashion item. Also, these days you can get a 16Gb nano for £150 which is probably enough storage for 90% of people. You no longer have to choose between having enough space and having a nice player. Like JT, I had loooads of different MP3 players before I succumbed and bought an iPod, but none of them were as good. I dunno, I think you can try and avoid iPods at all costs, but you'll only limit your options.
  23. Yeah. Plus they might be able to use the footage for teaching or whatever (Assuming you agree to that), so it might not be just you that benefits. Also I happen to know that most endoscopy machines have a video output to a VHS recorder, so you should be able to get a video output pretty easily. Alternatively, your knee will look the same as everyone else's from the inside so you could just look online for knee arthroscopies and imagine it's your knee
