  1. No dice, still jerky as hell (unwatchable). EDIT: Seems OK now
  2. Ok, they probably won't get dirty quicker, but they will show the dirt a lot more. I reckon they'll turn to a kind of grey/brown in a matter of weeks and look rubbish. even worse than they do now.
  3. Nope, you were too quick for my edit. Updating now...
  4. Works fine in Firefox (It's an old version of Firefox 2.0 though) There's a Safari update I can download though (from 3.04 to 3.1), will try that and let you know.
  5. Yeah but you have to take that in the context of £4 tyres from Decathlon or wherever. Even if the raw material cost doubles, it shouldn't really make a big impression in the cost of expensive tyres.
  6. That looks cool. Me likes.
  7. I don't know what it is. I get about 2 fps, and the player is really unresponsive Dave, are you on a mac?
  8. 9.0.28.0 works here (Firefox, Windows) 9.0.115.0 (latest version for Mac, using Safari) doesn't work well.
  9. Same for me, homeo. Tomturd say update your flash player but I don't think that's the issue. Every other flash video site works for me, and my flash is up-to-date anyway. Although it seems to be working fine on my Mum's computer, mayb it's been fixed?

Most people seem to set it up like Dave suggests. I personally can't stand that at all, feels horrible to me so I always run a bit of sweep (I.e. tilted back). Have a play, but I reckon if you can cope with the rise being 'vertical', then keep it that way.

No, building the muscle up does make a difference. If you get bigger muscles (but still require the same braking force), then your your muscles will expand proportionally less and produce proportionally less lactic acid etc. But the volume in which they can expand will be bigger, so you're less likely to get the nasty build up of pressure that happens in arm pump. That's the theory anyway. Although it sounds like MX riders get it much worse than trials riders.
  12. I think you've missed the point.

Yeah, you can cut the muscle compartment open so there's more room for the muscle to expand (It's called a fasciotomy ). There's at least one MX racer that's had it done, I'm not thinking of Shaun Palmer though. If you really want to read up on it (and arm pump in general), here's a good link: http://www.stanislausorthopedics.com/armpumpandmotocross.htm It's pretty long, but here are the important bits: * He means getting a boner
  14. Yup, and how many of them are sponsored by Chris King, Hope or Profile? And how many are sponsored by companies who make front freewheels (Onza/Tensile, Deng, Monty, Koxx etc)? That proves nothing really. That actually makes a lot of sense, I've never really heard that opinion before but there's definitely something in that. I don't think it would ever be worth sacrificing the number of engagements for, as dantrials pointed out, but at least that's some argument for FFW. Anyway, glad to see that he's seen the light
  15. A change is as good as a holiday. On the other hand, you're an idiot. I'm just totting up how much this is going to cost... To make your bike WORSE. Madness.
  16. You could make a stem that had a special groove in it to make sure it was perfectly aligned with the fork
  17. Beginning's a bit weird for me - It starts and builds up but then goes really quiet (E.g. at 14 seconds, 32s, 41s). Other than that it's pretty cool.
  18. Looking good. What's the head angle though? Also what's with the name 'Limey 1.Six'? I thought we already had a Limey 1 and 2?
  19. What the hell was that music? Just terrible. I could say that I liked the video, but that would detract from my main point about the music which was toss
  20. Just hold down the reset buttons. Think it's menu + select, hold for 10 seconds.
  21. Maybe Spelling Bee is the alter-ego of a new member who writes in text talk most of the time, but sometimes he wants to let off steam and spell properly without losing his badass rep? That's my theory. It was before your time. This forum has been around a lot longer than you've been on it, you know. Now, who remembers Kloe?

  23. No. Not unless you can find some software that will do it - I don't know of any.
  24. They are definitely Revelations, but they also look like they've had the travel reduced massively (not just to 100mm on the U-turn). They'd be pretty flexy though, Revs aren't the stiffest forks - although taking them down to 80mm travel would probably help a bit. Pikes are kinda the next one up - they're bigger and stiffer (with 20mm maxle) but even the lightest ones (which cost nearly £500) are nearly 5lbs!
  25. The only thing is, because it's a loss leader, they might have sacked it off and put the price up for the new season. I can't really see the point in spending lots on a road bike unless you're going to race it. Mine has done 3000 miles on the original drivetrain, in fact I haven't replaced anything except for 5 spokes in the rear wheel (repeat 100 times "this is a road bike not a BMX"). I've got a mate who has a much nicer road bike, it was about £600. Carbon forks + stupidly light 16 spoke wheels, all round better. It goes 1-2 mph faster but that's it.
