My new Czar. It feels sooo good on the rear wheel, but the bad thing is, that I can't ride it properly, because my chain skips the fook out of it Hopefully I'll get it fixed tomorrow so I can finally ride it properly.

I assume that you have a freewheel removal tool. Firstly remove the pedal from the crankarm. Then put the tool into a vice that is fixed to a table or something and won't move away. Put the crank crank onto the tool, so that the tool goes into the freewheel removal tabs. Then get a long bolt, a nut and some big washers. Put the bolt through the crankarm where bb usually is and bolt the freewheel tool to the crank arm.(Not too tight, just enough to make sure the freewheel tool won't 'skip' on the freewheel) Then take a long pipe(the longer the better) and put it over the crank arm to get more leverage and just screw the freewheel off. If you have got the freewheel loose a bit, , then take off the bolt that is holding the tool to the freewheel and just screw the freewheel off. If you can't find a pipe to extend your crankarm then you can use anything that will fit onto the crank arm(I used a bmx frame once :'( Put the crank through the headtube.)

I baked my Louise pads in the oven at 200C for about 20mins and it worked really well.
-
Why to boil them? In boiling water you can't get higher temp then 100C, and I'm not sure if that's enough. Bake them in the over at 200C for about 20 minutes and then bed them in again. That's what I did with my louise pads and it worked really good. (OR do like I did and get an Avid (Y) )

Hey. We had a street ride yesterday and my mate who's hand is fcked right now took my camera and filmed it, so I made a little vid of it, plus there are a few clips of todays pallets practice. http://tv.isg.si/site/?q=filebrowser/loffa About 3.5min long. The wmv version is 48mb, and the mpeg2 version is 77mb, both should have the same quality. I made two versions because I thought/hoped that I'm not the only one round here who still uses win 98 and doesn't have wmv 9 codec :P . The mpg one is still uploading and should be up in about 20 minutes. All comments welcome, Hendrik.

My 180mm Louise FR on the front is absolutly sh*t. Maybe I my pads are contaminated. I'll try new pads soon and if it doesn't help then it's bb7 for me. I wouldn't even think about one on the rear. But you can't fit a bb7 to the Kot frame, it won't fit between the seat- and chainstays. I'd problably get a 180mm hope trials, as the 160mm one on the rear of my mates monty is really good.

It will move pretty easily if you land on it or your chain gets caught, atleast when used with a qr, not funbolts. Atleast mine does, tough mine isn't a fresh one, but it is a pretty much exact copy of rennen. Cnc'd by my mate who works at a cnc machining shop. Pics to follow soon..

You'll have to file the RB blade down a few mm's, but other than that it will fit without making any mods to the lever body.

Koxx 47mm rims and the new Echo rims are still wider, and most of the frames have no problem fitting them. Anyway, good to hear, that it works well. I was thinking of doing the same(even before seeing your rim), but when I found out that a 47mm rim won't fit my frame without sanding the pads down I gave up.

My mates Monty 221 ti cracked on the right chainstay near the BB, and he was using a Monty disk hub.

Hey! I have been messing around with my camera on a few(three of them actually) rides we've had lately, so I made a vid from the footage, and thought I'd share it with you guys too. So here it is. Called SBT3 - Unlimited. A bit of natty and a bit of urban. Riding: Amor(Silver monty 221ti), Andreas(Red monty 221ti, he's 13 btw), Me(BT RAVen 5.0), Rasmus(Koxx XTP '03), Karl(Zoo Pitbull '05). http://rasmusx.pri.ee/videod/SBT3-Unlimited.mpg <-- right click, save target as. 77 mb, bit over 4 min long, MPEG-2 codec. All comments are welcome. Cheers, Hendrik.

I know a street/dj/fr rider who has put a spacer under the crown race on his Planet-X Pitbull, because otherwise he couldn't do barspins (the fork's crown was hitting the downtube) and it seems to work for him fine.
-
Yes, but even removing the paint/lacuqer may help, because sometimes the paint isn't even on the disk mount
-
After he has seen my bike

Nice bike you've got there! progat nada, ne dumat, suka. :-"

If you use a 73mm bb in a 68mm frame then you should use a 2.5mm or 5mm bb spacer on the driveside. It won't solve the freewheel rubbing problem, but that way the left hand cup will either screw in all the way(when using a 5mm spacer) or 2.5mm of the cup will stick out in case you use a 2.5mm spacer.
-
The new control forks are pretty nice too. And they have the same lenght and look about the same as koxx forks, but with a welded steerer and a normal disc mount(not the +30mm one). Or as mentioned above the new hifi forks, but controls are half the price.

That was a real nice chilled vid! Some good front wheel moves from you too. Keep the vids coming! (Y)

It didn't want to download, if you'll click "save link as", don't know why. But thanks for the other link, getting it now.
