  1. either get a vee (thats what i would do) or get a vee brake booster instead of (or aswell as) the magura one & run it to the lower holes. You'll need longer bolts & spacers & its a bit of a tw*t to set up but it will stop the flexing a little. Thats what i did on my old bounce but then i saw the light & got an xtr v instead. Was much better.
  2. if theyre anything like they used to be then run away fast. I had 2 shatter on me in the space of a week. That was over a year ago now though so things may well have changed for the better.
  3. stick some megadeth in there. plenty of albums to choose from .some better than others
  4. Toyota Starlett Hillman Imp...I think it was rear wheel drive anyway.
  5. Most people extend my last name a bit & call me Moooore (pronounced moower...ish) Some people still call me Bigruss but that stemmed from when i was younger & i used to be a right porker. Mooore the twat is one thats used quite a lot at the moment too but only in jest.
  6. someone should make a bike with dual front discs just for the novelty factor. Would be sh1te on a trials bike but truelly nuts on a DH bike.
  7. GIANT GSR100 (with next to no pressure in the tyres & cantilever brakes & koolstop pads) Huffy striker (with mini chainring to make it like a monty Monty X hydra (2000) Brisa B20 (2003) Brisa B20 (2004) Viper bomber (2003/2004) DDG Blackjack DDG Shooter with rigid forks Koxx levelboss (my first proper 26" trials bike) Echo bounce (till early 2006) Echo Hifi (see bike pics section for photos)
  8. Plus i seriously doubt there's anybody out there that makes a road legal tyre small enough for a mini moto. I've gone for 5 years on the road without the need for a car. I'd get too pissed off if i had to queue up in traffic everyday. Riding in the rain would be pants on a road bike but get a supermoto & rain riding is quality. Sooo much fun. As for the danger factor of bikes, It can be dangerous but... Those who risk nothing, do nothing, achieve nothing, become nothing. Quoted from the headstone of one of my favourite motorbike riders ever, David Jefferies.
  9. porn monkey Doll Cant go on myspace at work to check for links so will edit later if they are on there.
  10. I'm not sure how much it cost all together because i didnt buy it all at once, some bits have come from bikes i've had in the past & also i was able to get a few bits quite cheap because i worked in a bike shop for 7 years. Sorry i cant be more helpful mate.
  11. Funny you should mention putting a grind on. I was talking about that about 2 minutes before i fell off and did my back in. The reason for falling off... The brake slipped when i landed & i fell back & cracked my back across 3 steps. Have done the rim now so will post a new pic when i put the wheel back on.
  12. Its not a brisa stem, its an Echo one.
  13. I was going to get the Hifi stem when i bought the frame but when i tried my old stem on it everything just felt right so i decided to stick with it and i've never had a problem with the position. The front V brake would be lethal if it worked any better, i know it looks a bit ridiculous way out there but its the dogs danglies performance wise. Cheers for the comments guys, keep em coming
  14. 2.3" Tyres were too fat to fit into most frames & monty gloves looked like something that a goal keeper would wear. Boeri Helmets anyone?
  15. Mine's chillin in the kitchen at the moment because mum's in Dubai. Usually lives in the garage or shed though,
  16. Normally i wouldn't bother putting photo's of my bike up here because theres plenty of bikes that are far nicer than mine to look at but i recently fell off & crushed a vertabrae in in my back so am out of action for a while and have lots of spare time on my hands so i decided it was time for some piccies. Heres a short list of the kit: Hifi Frame Echo forks (can't remember which ones) Echo stem Zoo bars Try all rim on hope xc hub & Ti skewer (front) Echo rim on hope bulb & Ti skewer (rear) Middle burn super pro cranks / echo external bb Hope H/set Ultegra rear mech (running on modified dura ace 6spd cassette) XT shifter Ltd Edition V12 magnesiums Xtr front v brake with XT lever (Spanish fly pads on front & rear brake) HS33 rear brake (custom silver with gold echo mounts & braided hose) Wtb 2.3" rear tyre / fire xc 2.1" front But most importantly, Fake carbon fiber bar plugs & silver bullet dust caps. All comments welcome cheers.
  17. Top of the range, i had them on my old brisa & they were the best bars i've ever had. The stem took a massive hit from some scrote with a hammer and it survived a got 8 months before i bought a new one so theres definately no weakness issue.
  18. what size is it? Ive got the small one which i upgraded so i could ride the hardtail class in our local DH series this year (which they then scrapped the class due to lack of entries) but the geometry is awesome. The most chuckable bike i've ever ridden & so stable aswell. definately a good buy
  19. When i worked in a bikeshop we were constantly getting V8s back with people complaining that the bearings were shot after only a few weeks. Never used em myself i've always had the V12 mags but after seeing the number of returns i doubt i would ever buy v8s.
  20. keep yer eyes on ebay, chances are it'll turn up there sooner or later unless the tw*ts already have a buyer for the bike.
  21. i used to get mine from the road. When they dig up small sections of road for maintenance they fill it in, re lay the road with tarmac & fill the gap round the edge with pure tar. If in doubt look for roadworks & the answer is never far away.
  22. ITS CRAP, I'd much rather spend the loot on something worthwhile.
  23. haven't the italian traffic cops been using lambos for years? i definately remember seeing a photo af a countach all polizia'd up when i was younger. The ego boost from out running that would be good though.
  24. i've ran isis super pros for a year or two now, still as good as ever. well worth the dollar.
