  1. I've recently got back from a snowboarding trip. I was going over a fairly sized table, about 10-12ft high and 25ft or so table to landing. I was trying a 180 nose grab, been pulling mutes and nose grabs fine all week as well as 180s, nearly nailed a 360 too. Anywho, as I can down the land the tip caught the top of the landing, I went flying head first into some fairly compacted snow, knocked myself out for about a minute or two and have damaged my neck and got a nice concussion. If that had happened on a gap or something it could have been a lot worse. I personally wear a helmet whenever I am doing anything extreme. And to Onzaboy marks remark about not affecting other people, what if you cross the road without looking a car hits you and kills you, if the police say a helmet would have saved you then the driver would feel guilty and thus it would affect them. Whether it was their fault or not they know they hit someone and that's with them for the rest of their life. I think they should be compulsory for the reason alone they do save your life or save you from injuries.

    Pc Help

Hey, I am just about to order a second gfx card to get a third screen. I have one PCI-E x16 lane and 2 x1 lanes. I am assuming it will be fine running a second card in the other lane, not in crossfire mode for the third screen. Dont need a lot of bandwidth anyway for pushing videos etc.
  3. This is my current setup, dual 22" on the pc and the 19" running the 360. Going to get a third 22" for the pc and then wall mount a 24" for the 360 so I can get 1080p this will all happen when I get paid later this month. For those interested the tower has 4gb ram, Q6600 @ 3ghz, 2.67TB of hard drive space and a nice set of 8 silent fans Runs cool as feck. Only running a HD2600 but I dont game, I mainly edit vids, listen to music, surf the net, msn, e-mail, photoshop etc, a lot of multitasking.

  6. I was trying to sleep, but was good hungry so I went and got food. Now I cant sleep as Im too excited about tomorrow, going to the French Alps, snowboarding .
  7. It is a discussion forum, he was making his point. Maybe billocks would think "hmm someone said it was boring, what can I do to improve this". Dont be so negative, sometimes comments such as those can be helpful.
  8. Ditto. You could always go ride your bike rather than watching a lot of videos . I would but mines currently broken, waiting for parts.
  9. Could just ride outside to save some hassle, why would you want to ride in your bedroom anyway, surely things are just going to get broken.
  10. I got: Mass Effect £30 HMV gift card £40 €75 (Going to france soon) Chocolates Aftershave Weird pillow thing thats really comfy Snowboarding helmet 2 Calendars Not too bad, more than i was expecting to be fair, has been a good christmas here, everyone was really happy with their presents. My aunt though is to ungrateful, my uncle bought my aunt a nice expensive Philips digital photo frame and she said "why did you buy me that, I dont want it". How rude is that ???
  11. Ive just sent some money as its all I can afford now, be nice to see some pics of how the car is now, though to finish. Keep us all updated on how it goes. Depending how the raising goes, I might send more. If you lived a little closer than pompy I would help
  12. I think it looks good, thought this game was dead as its been so long, I read about it in an old Nintendo 64 mag when I had that console. Will be impressive if it actually makes it to release as I thought 3D Realms had money issues at some point.
  13. For all of you with pussy fingers who cannot pull a lever it might feel like oil, for those of us who are not panzies, it feels the same. Mine has been on an HS33 and a Dengura and feels fine, none of those slow retraction and its rock solid. Also it is insanely hard to snag, my bike has been dangling by the hosing before and its fine.
  14. I dont have much money, quite in debt at the moment but I shall send some to help finish the mini.
  15. I used to use iTunes till it messed up on me. I never had any problems with it but some people just like nice clean simple programs without any bloat and are very much to the point.
  16. PIG! Seriously is someone trying to sue someone else over trials frames?
  17. I did a couple of deals with Oli in the past, he was a really sound guy also gave me some top advice back in the days. Such a loss to the community as he was always wise and helpful, shame its so near to christmas. Thoughts go out to his family and close friends. RIP.
  18. I dont think there is one true love as love is quite hard to define as you love your family differently to how you love your partner or your friends. As for one true love for you partnerwise, I believe in more soul mates style thing.
  19. I think we should all run cars on methane, I mean if you drive socially the amount of methane you produce whilst farting in a week would probaboly be fine to run a car Nah petrol is a bit expensive at the moment, over the christmas period I am riding my trials bike about 3 miles to and from work just to save money on petrol, and due to our small sized car park were not allowed to park there over christmas. I think the price should come down, I dont want to be on to moan but the government wastes so much money on shit its unreal. Wellfare/benefits need to be cut, the UK is too generous, if people are disabled, yeah give them some support, if people are just being plain lazy then screw them (ovbiously with a few more rules here and there). If they didnt spend so much on useless tasks as well such as re-surfacing roads and "road enhancements", we had parts of our roads painted red because they had some spare cash to spend. Cut back on all this they dont need to tax as much. Also car taxing, should pay more tax the further you drive, the more your car pollutes etc, so if you drive say 50,000 miles a year with a 5l engine you should pay a hell of a lot more tax than someone who drives 5,000 miles on a 2l engine. So many problems with the government at the moment its unreal. Also does anyone remember a few years back when Gordon Brown had a large black hole were about £7billion dissapeared (I think) and also releasing so much money on the pensions. *rant over* I am all for the petrol strike.
  20. WinAMP supports it as standard on 5.5 onwards, but there is a plugin for winamp which has many more options such as organising your play list on a shuffle, for those of us with them. Also allows you to connect as many iPods to as many computers so long as they use WinAMP and I am pretty sure you can take music off the iPod using winamp as well.
  21. This happened on my last bleed with my dengura brake, however I did not pump the lever, normaly I dont and I have the same play feeling that you mentioned. I shall try pumping the lever when I bleed it next.
  22. All I shall say is .... I told you so.
  23. Its not all about sponsorship, its about having fun. I do hope that when or if trials gets big it doesnt end up like a lot of sports where people forget why it started, to have fun, not to be sponsored.
  24. I did not like high bb bikes, however I do quite like some rise, between 20-40 I find nice anything more and I find it too weird to ride.
  25. Dont always rely on one program, some pick up stuff that the others dont. Its worth running a few scans to be safe.
