  1. Trials forks are generaly 40-50 mm shorter than mtb forks. Have a look at kinesis bikes rigid forks they are good for mtbs
  2. The freehub has two small bearings under the pawls then on the outside it has a spacer (remove this) and a larger bearing. I am pretty sure you just machine the freehub so the outer bearing sits thurther into the body and rethread the shortened freehub body. If you need a exploded view of the hub go to hope tech web site. There is loads on the tech docs
  3. Isn't the 116 shell different to a 135, it is normally. If echo hubs are convertable that's good The best way to remove the axle is to bore out a block of wood so you can sit the hub onto it with the axle end on the hole. And use the bored out piece of wood to put between the hammer and your hub axle. It's just like the hope wheel tool only very cheap and works ace
  4. Get some specialized cross roads armadillos there ace. For the daily commute and will last for ever
  5. The worst that will happen is the pads will glaze because it won't get hot enough. Unless u like to brake late and hard.
  6. Park n dirt use the smallest rotors you can get 140 or 160

  16. Yes just looked it up. Undo the tension nut from the other side then pull out the 8mm part behind it is a 10mm Allen key fitting you can use to take out the axle.
  17. The internal bolt or the external bolt? I usualy take out the 6mm parts with the thin axle from the centre and there is a larger Allen let fitting inside it. But if that's rounded then all you can do is hammer a larger torque bit into the rounded Allen key fitment and try to undo it again.
