  1. As other people have said, adjusting your riding helps. I always used to look for places to trackstand without using my brakes, try to point up hill when possible and use chain tension. You can use little holes and bumps to put your front wheel against too to help, or hang your back wheel just off an edge.....it's surprising how much it helps.
  2. with those tensioners you can remove the pin that sits against the mech hanger to allow it to sit against the frame. To lock it in place, remove the mech hanger bolt, then remove the alloy washer/spacer and replace with a thicker one and now when you tighten the bolt it will lock the arm in place.
  3. Thanks, it had been a while since I had done a comp as touch as that and I did struggle with arm pump on a couple of sections even with my v brake.
  4. Believe me I've tried a lot of things, even considered surgery. I only ever get it when doing a comp and I did find a cure....a V brake completely stopped it.
  5. you can still seat on a seat that's tilted back, I do no handers all the time, flat seats just looks the worst!
  6. 15 years riding and I still have it quite badly even with exercises
  7. did you read the thread?
  8. tell that to Bruno Hoffman
  9. head tube gusset is overkill, but the rest of it and the colour is sweet

    Brakes

fo sure, having all fingers on the bars really helps I think, I have to ride death grip with brakes sometimes if I'm trying a big hop, I hardly ever cover the front when hopping, feels horrible.

    Brakes

happens to me, after being brakeless for a while, going back to brakes is the worst! I couldn't do half the stuff I could before without brakes.
  12. not really true, I've been riding for 15 years and still cant use a magura for comps as I still get terrible arm pump.
  13. v brake for sure, completely stopped my arm pump isses
  14. not sure if serious or trolling? I ride trials with 22-15 so 22-16 will be fine. Try and find someone with an Inspired who is wanting to upgrade to a Hope hub and see if they'll sell you their freewheel.
  15. my bars are 1020mm off the floor (measured to the center of the bar ends). not sure how many spacers I have, but I can't fit any more without some kind of steerer extender.
  16. I bent and cracked a pair of tuff guys pretty rapidly, as mark said, there are much better forks out there
  17. non of his friends helped by holding the camera and filming? Shame really as the camera on the floor pretty much ruined what could have been a sweet video, I would love to see a decent quality vid of him.
  18. I think they should keep them, but make them so they are all tie-dye.
  19. not noticed a difference between sintered and organic personally, I have sintered and they seem pretty good.

    24" Wheels

it depends on a few things.......is the rim suitable for your needs? If you've got a light weight single wall rim and are using it for street then yeah, it's going to buckle. If the wheel wasn't built very well then it's going to buckle. If you are a harsh rider, it's going to buckle. I ride spank rims which are just about the stiffest things ever made and I've not had to touch them since I built them back in March.
  21. random video repost, wasn't expecting this, thanks for the comments guys though I gotta say that I most definitely can't do that gap up to wall these days, took me long enough back then when I was better at them
  22. bent pedal axles are fairly common, you could try some other pedals (maybe swap with a friend) and see.
