    24" Wheels

it depends on a few things.......is the rim suitable for your needs? If you've got a light weight single wall rim and are using it for street then yeah, it's going to buckle. If the wheel wasn't built very well then it's going to buckle. If you are a harsh rider, it's going to buckle. I ride spank rims which are just about the stiffest things ever made and I've not had to touch them since I built them back in March.
  2. random video repost, wasn't expecting this, thanks for the comments guys though I gotta say that I most definitely can't do that gap up to wall these days, took me long enough back then when I was better at them
  3. bent pedal axles are fairly common, you could try some other pedals (maybe swap with a friend) and see.
  4. pretty large sidehop on that type of bike
  5. the difference between you and me is I'll defend myself when I see deliberately negative and slanderous comments about what I do. You (and others) will post comments without any reason other than to piss people off. With Ben's video, I posted exactly what happened, I watched it, got bored and stopped. I didn't say he was shit, I didn't say TGS was shit, I posted an honest reply. If you have such a beef with street riding then keep it to yourself.
  6. I'm aware you have been riding for awhile (not that it shows) but you seem to be suffering from from some kind of memory loss, let me remind you of a little history. This bike is from 2001, note how it has a seat and short wheel base This bike is from 2012, note how it has a seat and short wheel base So, street style bikes being new? I don't think so. Also, look at this video from the 90s Seats, street riding and natural. They are riding everything including skate parks. Street riding isn't new....TGS riding is new (well, 2004 when myself and Iolo came up with the name after watching Damon. So yeah, I'm not saying TGS is shit or anything, but you can't say that bikes with seats and short wheelbases are new and you cant say that street riding is new either, so kindly shut the f**k up.

    Still Livin'

sweet edit Joel, nice to see a chilled riding vid and it gives a good vibe about just going out and riding with friends
  10. well it is........ I must admit I haven't watched the video, but I'm assuming it's mostly the type of stuff they normally do and they are not just riding ramps and doing grinds and stuff
  11. I don't have a problem, don't forget I did 12 years of riding seatless bike around the world, why would I have a problem with something I did for most of my life? What I do have a problem with is people stating things that are not true. You DON'T need to have your bars at extreme angles if you don't want to. I understand some people like it and some people can use it for their advantage and I'm 100% totally cool with that. "the bars need to be at that angle to improve the posture on the back wheel" Tell that to everyone out there who does well at comps who doesn't have that angle, Kenny is probably the best rider out there and he gets on fine with a more normal position. I don't think his posture looks bad.
  12. noooo, orange bash looks ace!
  13. at the risk of going off topic, God is about as real as spiderman (except we know what spiderman looks like),
  14. not sure if god's going to decide if your cranks are knackered or not :wink2: , if they they have worn a little then you could try some thread lock to help keep them solid.
  15. fair enough, fingers crossed you can carry on using them without any problems
  16. that colour scheme is bloody brilliant! I really like it....well done old boy.
  17. cranks shouldn't "fall off". They have a slight taper which when ridden lose can warp it slightly which means they'll never be as snug a fit and are much more likely to come lose in the future. The proof is in the pudding though, get that bolt torqued up and see how it holds.
  18. I'm a little harsh perhaps, they do do a sweet 270 into fufanu off stuff that I've not seen before.
  19. I wonder if this video will make them their millions they seem so keen to get?
  20. got bored about 2 mins in then turned it off
