  1. 6 gears rule at british champs? Awesome vid Stan, loving your style. Lots and lots of fun..... Rich
  2. I started using them in late 2003, dunno when this review was written. For someone who discovered them he could damn well do with selling the things! Rich
  3. Nah I'm pretty sure the bulb was something like 36 or 48, not enitrely sure so don't quote me on that one.... Rich
  4. Yep, I'm there, thanks to the kind Mr.Derf. Rich
  5. I've been hearing a fair bit recently about a video Danny Smith made a while back when him and a few others went on a roadtrip. Anyone got it? Cheers Rich
  6. Erm, the first two of Vincent are quite impressive....... Can somone tell me what exactly it is he's doing in the first pic? I can't quite get my head around it..... Looked like an awesome comp, any pics of the mototrials guys going through the sections? Rich
  7. From what I understand: the long thin one is the trials specific one as it only has room on the freehub body for 6 gears and builds into a dishless wheel. Engagements on a king are 72, on the Pro 2 they are 24, but on the Pro 2 trials they are 48 (using four sets of pawls with two engaging at the same time). Rich
  8. You cannot be about to tell me thats not real. Bloody impressive stuff. Rich
  9. Fair enough I didn't know who this guy was, but I have been told by hope several different release dates and you will have to excuse me if by now I'm a little sceptical. I'll believe it when I see it. Rich
  10. Could very well be up for this as I need to be in that area anyway for the 26th (hampshire comp). I'll speak to Prawn. Rich
  11. 10th of January? As in about four weeks ago? Oh yes, I believe you... Clive (Leeson) has been in constant contact with Hope over the hubs and although they inch closer every day, THERE IS NO SET RELEASE DATE. Hope are working as hard as they can to make the best possible hub they can, and as far as I can see their credos is that if that means dealying the original release date by over a year, thats exactly what they're gonna do. And all hubs skip when you break them in, so I'm personally not expecting the Pro 2 to be any different. I am expecting something special.... Rich
  12. Yeah, SWTC V rocks, probably 'cos its the only one without my ugly mug messing up the picture. And Alex is ten times better at editing than me. Glad y'all enjoyed it, now......Someone sell me an Avid caliper so's I can get riding again and make another one! Rich
  13. Lovely video, nice and chilled, made me want to go ride some natural. Can't though due to buggered bike so in some ways you've actually made me feel less happy...... Nice vid, I've been meaning to get up that way to see Wayne for a while now, maybe in the summer by the look of things.... Rich
  14. Download it, its fun. Rich

    Swtc 6

There hasn’t been one of these smaller vids from SWTC for a while as last year was mainly taken up with Volume 2. But I snapped an avid caliper on Sunday whilst down in Plymouth (140 miles there and back for 45minutes riding. Great……….) so decided to get ye old camera out, and so hopefully this could be the start of a new series of vids form us. Tv.isg.si link filename SWTC 6 Song is: Dope – f**k the World Riders: Me – Leeson Nick Vaughn – Onza T-Rex Tom Whitely – Echo Control Fred Judd – Curtis 24” Gary Sanderson – Ashton Justice Joe Seddon – Monty 220 ti Greg Martin – Cousteillier St. Blaise Ben Moore – Koxx Levelboss 26” Filmed in/at Plymouth, Exeter and Ham Hill, as usual all comments welcome. Enjoy Rich
  16. That sucks man. Clive fixed mine up for free and all, was awesome of him. On a seperate note: today I snapped a disc caliper on the rear and not five minutes earlier I had said to steve sanger that my bike was feeling wierd. Moral of the story: Check stuff out when it feels wierd. Half an hour later I would have been doing some massive drop gaps and I can only consider myself lucky it broke when it did...... Rich
  17. Good morning....... I have the monster of all hangovers so I'm about to go out for a few more drinks just to sober up, but tomorrow is definately on. Tic and Fred: Do you guys want to meet me in Exeter (I imagine you're gonna do the A303 and then get on the M5 at Exeter?) or Taunton and we can convoy it down as I know where we're going. I'm guessing the best place to park is on he Hoe where we were last time, then everyone meet at Copthorn or on the Hoe at about 11? I'm easy..... See y'all tomorrow. Rich
  18. Hey all, Heres a vid Andrei made of himself from training sessions and demo's over the last year or so. tv.isg.si link file name: andrei burton demo video. Featuring natural, street and demos from Andrei and Joe. Enjoy. Rich
  19. I'm gonna run it by my Media class and get some feedback from them before I re-do it, then I'll put up the updated version for more scrutiny from you lot. Thanks for all your help guys. Rich
  20. Have a look in Rides/Locations under Taunton and Plymouth, as the Plymouth ride this Sunday (5th of Feb) should have a fair few of the SouthWest's usual suspects attending, along with photochildgimpkid Rob Passmore.... Also any pics you take of me can and most likely will get put up on the Moment website if Andrew likes them, which should help boost your publicity. I'm on MSN at karsonlevoret@hotmail.com, get in touch if you fancy coming over for a ride. Rich
  21. Wouldn't really want to be the person who gets to do that, Vincent being a good few inches over six foot and probably pretty damn beefy to go with it.... Rich

    Riddle

Its either something very complex or very simple. My first thought was it was the cones which reflect light in the human eye (technically these would be red in the daytime and black at night), but the numbers don't fit. Something to do with teeth? I'm just trying to work through all the physical aspects of men and women to see how many of what we've all got. I've got the missus here and we're both trying to work it out by counting things. You don't know how much fun this is...... Now I just need a child..... Rich
  23. From what I've read of the articles (it was actually easier to read the french one than the google attempt at translation) this has nothing to with Vincent TAKING anything, more that his body is under so much stress its not producing enough of something. It sounds similar to a diabetic being banned from driving due to their sugar/blood levels. I can certainly see why Vincent would be stressed. He is the only person on the Koxx team - which has numerous world champions and world record holders within it - who will be looked at in a different light from the other riders. No matter how good he becomes - and he basically is the best there is - there will still always be people who think, "He's only there now because his dad owns the company." I've just signed up to ride with Moment Designs and I'm stressed to pieces thinking I'm not good enough to earn my position on a team with the likes of Matt Staples and Joe Oakley. Imagine who Vincent has to compare himself to every time he rides professionally. I think this could be a warning call to not only trials riders, but to all people who take their sport seriously. Rich EDIT: The only thing I havn't really understood from all this, is which license has he lost? His BIU license? His driving license? His small munitions license?
  24. I remember when I was about 13 getting drunk for the first time on Hooch. God my head wrecked in the morning (hot summer afternoon + beverage with about 75% sugar content and 25% alcohol content + youthfull ignorance of consequences = owwwwwwwwwwww............) Rich
