Has anyone else noticed that although Dan Jones is one of the most quiet, shy people ever, he's one of the most monstrous riders on the UK trials scene? I dunno if thats just what he's like at comps..... Awesome vid Andy, although, a little constructive criticism, I wasn't nuts over the lens framing most of the shots. And Jamie's Triton looks beautiful, may have to steal a ride on it at the next Hampshire comp. Nice one guys, keep them coming. Rich

'Eyup, Right, its my 19th birthday on friday 3rd of February which isn't entirely important, just having a gathering round my place which a few people already know about. On Saturday there sould be a pretty chilled out ride going on in Taunton to which all are welcome to join (just don't expect me, steve or Rob to be doing anything involving any kind of co-ordination...) Then on Sunday the plan is to head on down for a ride in Plymouth which apparently Prawn is going to emerge for, so should be a good day. Will figure out where + when to meet when I've talked to Prawn and the others. Anyone and everyone is welcome to come on either ride so get yerselves down here for a kick ass weekend. Rich

They didn't replace my ES2. Fantastic frame though, mine lasted for about 11 months before it died (broken disc tabs) and even then I got it rewelded and sold it on. Rich

I've gone to nass for the last three years and only ever gone for the day. I've had a kick ass time every time I've been. But I'm pissed its not at shepton mallet anymore, first Bike Live left Plymouth now Nass has buggered off up north as well. f**k that. Rich

Yeah was just talking to AndyT about the vocals and it was just really damn hard to record them without getting heaps of backgroud destortion. I'll have to play around with some of the synth levels and the volume to see if I can punch it up a bit. I'm also gonna see what its like with my girlfriend doing the voiceover as she has a slightly higher voice but more dynamic than mine. the clip of Alex I just liked as it was someone alone and (quite literally at the time...) caught out which is what I was trying to get across with the whole 'no manager, no subs' thing. Its only a small file (10mb) and all the footage has been used before in my videos, but that’s not the point. The point is that the video is a mock advertisement for a TV show about Biketrials. Please don’t get excited, I’m only making an advert, there’s no TV series coming, I wish it were different. Both the Interactive Visual Technologies Channel and Biketrials: A Sport Outside Society are complete fabrications to support this project and are completely fictious. The reason I’ve made it is that its for my AS level media studies project on video production and I need some feedback from real people who know what they are talking about, and anyone who just has an opinion on what they liked about it, what they disliked, how they think it could be made better; I want to hear from anyone and everyone. PLEASE DON’T: just post saying, “It’s Amazing!” or “It’s Shit!” I want to know what’s shit about it so’s I can make it better. If you can help I’d be really appreciative. Thanks Rich

Nah, this was when I lived back in my old house in Devon. Theres a big hill coming into S. Molton with a camera at the bottom, and after we saw it flash the biker we just went to the police station a few days later and asked if any unusual/unidentifiable photos had ben recovered. Rich

Whilst in the pub a while back, a few of us were discussing how big an object has to be to set off a speed camera. The concensus was that the only way to do this was to get one of the local DH lads, put him on his Patriot at the top of a hill with a camera at the bottom (30mph speed limit) and see if he could set it off. Getting the photo's back from the police was hilarious...... Personally, jumping from a first floor window with nearly 40 units of alcohol in me on new years eve is one that sticks in my mind.....
