  1. Looks very nice, just one question though... why does the front hub look so damn bright? have you covered it in sticky labels to match the front maggie? Okay so its two questions... :$ sorry
  2. Mod bikes are loads easier to sidehop, i can sidehop blakes monty loads higher off the floor than i can may base, and its pretty much the same with every other mod i've been on. However i too suck at sidehopping up walls and things and i guess you're just going to have to watch a couple of videos to see how everyone does it then go out and try varying the moves. Just do it one way a couple of times then try another way. Sooner or later you'll find a way that suits you the most, mine seems to be hop from the rear wheel and aim to land on the rear wheel ... Unluckily for me i do it to the wrong side which is also my mech side, and so up until i recently purchased a fresh products tensioner i've been reluctant to commit myself to sidehopping for fear of breaking my mech hanger. Now i don't have to worry and so i've been trying them more frequently. You'll get it eventually dude!
  3. I can do about 32" over a high jump pole but i can only fo just over wheel height on walls so about 27" I'm blaming having a frame thats a bit too small for me
  4. Looks alright, i'm sure there are going to be a few people who are glad you found these. So now there's king kogs, surley cogs, gusset cogs and these that all have the wide base. Thats a bit of a variety now It looks very similar to a cog that i made
  5. It wasn't wrong information. What i said was all correct and since i've said it your post's are more thoughtfully and correctly laid out, therefore it's made a difference. And i don't bother with the spellcheck most of the time, i can spell correctly... i just can't re-read through it properly without getting bored. And i love my CNC'd backings... their so easy to switch material and provide a firmer and more definative feel on the lever. I don't think it really makes any difference to the pads wearing on the ends as mine still do it. Other than that though they're great. They look pimped too.
  6. Looks like you'll have to work out how to click the spellcheck button and use capital letters at the beginnning of a sentence and full stops at the end doesn't it?
  7. Oh dear lord, the traustria vid and now this as well... its a great week this week! I'll edit this when i've watched it EDIT: Oh dear lord... that was silly massive riding all the way through Though i didn't know why that clip of the hand was in at the beginning... that flap of skin wasn't bad at all
  8. How do he get into trouble for using your passport... theres nothing wrong with using it as a form of i.d
  9. I really dont think that anyones gonna report it missing to the police. I mean, they take them from a warehouse full of them and then they get transported to the different shops that require them... which are usually a fair distance apart. These shops then take them off the vans and put them into storage in the shop. Depending on the service of the shop these could then be delivered to peoples houses. So that leaves too many possible ways for it to be checked back on where it could have gone missing. It could have been left at the initial depot or left at the shop. Either way the communication isn't going to be great between the companies so i would imagine you should find that you'll not have anyone claim it before the 6 weeks is up. Plus i'm not 100% sure but i think you have to claim for it at the station it was reported missing at so i doubt that between checking the depots and stores to see if it was left there, that they'll realise that it had fallen out the back of the van in the town you live in after its possibly travelled hundreds of miles to get to you.
  10. Yeah their very cool about replacements... i took my old fluy guys down there after they snapped. I had the bonded ones designed for xc riding and they let me have the half price crash replacement towards a pair of smart guys. Very good indeed!
  11. Nah its just nobody elses bike will ride as well as his t-rex

    Xstals?

Go into boots and pick up a couple of packs of either the lucozade or dextrose (i find these better) tablets.. they're like 56p per pack. They have essentially the same things in apart from they lack the caffeine/guarana content... something i'm fairly certain you wouldn't be able to notice as being missing.
  13. get it right! I dont like to call it a fanny though... boumsong love slot is much more appropriate I personally think the term "axe-wound" is funny as hell as well I am a wee bit drunk though... damn bottle of sambuca Anyways, nite t-f

No i don't mean people like you... i've only been riding like 6 months longer than you. I Mean the kind of people that start out on a really good bike after having only ridden for a few weeks/months. I think it irritates me how they've gone out and spent so much money on a bike without knowing what they're riding style is yet and things like that. On holiday i saw some riders and there was one there with a gorgeous leeson and he couldn't even peddle hop He told me that he'd had it bought for him by his parents and that he just thought he'd try trials and when i asked him why he bought a leeson he had the legendary reply of "well i don't know really, i might change it soon" Its that kind of attitude that annoys me because he's had it handed to him on a silver platter because he asked for it and has made no attempt to even try riding how it should be ridden. I personally think if you've saved up and bought the bike yourself it pretty much voids any negative opinion of you i might initially have. It shows that you've worked for it and taken time to get the bike you want, not just any old bike because you can. And no it isn't that i'm jealous, just annoyed at how ignorantly stupid those people have been.

Ha ha, too true. My bike is literally falling to pieces now and i'm sticking with it for a while, and yet i've met people with brand new echo's who can barely ride them.
  16. The bases are quite good jump bikes with a set of suspension forks in, and you can ride trials with suspension so that could be an option as well. Other than that i'd say look for a frame that has a roughly level bottom bracket, as when you try to do trials on some bikes like my mates 24seven the bottom bracket is lower and it actually does hinder your riding. He still does it anyway though rear disc.. no front brake... suspension forks... 32th chainring and he can peddle hop and tap it
  17. Had some chav try and stop me as i was riding my bike home the other day after i got rained on severely... so i was already a bit annoyed. He walked straight out in front of me then stopped and put his hands on my bars. I sat there looking at him and told him to "get the f**k out the way" to which he replied "f**k you".... he had my fist land straight on his nose Funny thing is he actually looked like he was going to cry, then him and his mate ran off and i just carried on riding home.

QUOTE(deanie-b @ Jun 2 2006, 07:28 PM) ← I think it's a bit immature that someone who is 19 years old can't keep a lid on his language. There are bound to be younger people who browse this forum, who are now going to go out and repeat that coarse language somewhere. Not funny or clever in the slightest. If we're gonna be all serious like, then i think its very hypocritical for you to say something like that with an avatar image saying "enjoy my cock". I said it earlier, its just the internet... chill out So what if people tell new members to write properly, if their too stupid to read the guidelines then it might need pointing out to them. You also mention about how the forum should be an enjoyable place, well i personally find it more enjoyable to read a post with correct spelling and grammar... i get wound up by txt tlk. With this in mind why shouldn't people mention it? Admittedly some people don't go about it in the best way but thats life, and your just gonna have to live with it. People are from different backgrounds and will have different views on whats acceptable and what isn't, you obviously seem to be a very sincere person, and whilst thats not a bad thing it obviously means you get offended when other people say things that they feel are completely okay to say. I am a much more relaxed person and never really get wound up by things that i see on here, and as such i don't seem to take much offense from anything people say i just go about as i usually would and yes, if its someone using txt tlk i won't hesitate to tell them to stop it. It annoys me a bit, just like the way you reply so much in your threads... you quote pretty much everyone in the thread and i just don't see why you feel you need to bother. I haven't made a thread up about it though have i? At the end of the day its hard enough to change people in real life so your never going to do it over the internet.
  19. You could keep an eye out on ebay or int he for sale/wanted section but i don't think you'll find a new coustellier frame. They do ride very nicely though... my lover, boumsong, has got one and its so nice. Only thing i'd do to it is stick a lower longer stem on it.

Exactly... don't worry about it so much and just get on with being as nice as you are.
  21. I don't hate new parts... i just stated a few points that would put me off buying them, they were supposed to be helpful tips on how he could improve his marketing tactics.
  22. If you're riding near here tomorro i'll give you a hand. I need to get back into doing them again as i got bored of them and found bunnyhopping up things a much more fun challenge. I'm weird like that i can bunnyhop up nearly everything i've tapped .
  23. What was the actual point to this topic? The only thing i can think of is its showing off a new set of pads... but at the same time it looks like more of a p**s take than anything thats supposed to be helpful. I personally don't think i'll be buying any unless they're like £5 a set. I'm not aware of any legit website selling them, i haven't been shown any way in which they've been thoroughly tested and altered to be made better due to rider feedback and with the amount of other pads being made from reputable companies i can't see how these are going to make a profit. EDIT: sorry, just read through it and that sounds quite bitchy... its not meant to be
  24. I wont be.. leicester in the middle of the week is aweful . Evenings or weekends and i'm there... otherwise i'm not even going to bother. I've done it too many times
