I personally think that the american bunnyhop way is slightly easier and looks a shed load better as well. Not to mention the fact that, the same with bunnyhopping, this way will allow for you to spin later giving you more clearance time for if you want to 180 up or down a wall. You don't see many people bunnyhopping up walls using the "lift both wheels at the same time" method and for good reason. p.s. on a sidenote you were right about 360's needing a different technique to your "lift both wheels at the same time" method. You need to use the bunnyhop one so you can spin round faster. A perfect example of this is nbrtrials video 6 8 seconds in... its a slo motion sideways on clip of, i think, nick manning doing a pretty nice 360 bunnyhop.

I just do mine up as tight as i can physically get them. Always have done it like that and i always will.

For rolling ones you need to twist the bars in the opposite direction, say for example i 180 to the left so i turn my bars right first as i'm rolling alongthen i quickly twist them left and carry on with the twisting movement almost bringing the bars towards my left shoulder. As the bars are being pulled towards your should and lifted off the floor you want to flick your head round to face behind you and this will bring your shoulders and waist around to follow. Lift the back wheel off the floor and you'll spin round in the air. What you want to do is when your starting off you pull the back brake slightly to help slow the reverse movement enough for you to fakie out of it smoothly. As you get used to them you wont need to use the rear brake much, if at all. It will take a little while to get the hang of it but the tips for when your first staring are twist bars to the opposite direction first, flick your head really fast in the direction you want to spin and pull the brake slightly as youre landing to slow youre movement down and give you time to find the hub engagement for you to fakie out.

From a riders point of view it'd have to be wolverines healing powers/metal skelton... renders all bails worry free as you'd be fixed withing a coulpe of seconds. Some sort of extreme speed/agility/enhanced mescle thing so that i could gap silly distances. From a non riders point of view it'd have to be the whole telekinesis malrky, moving things with my mind and reading peoples thoughts. You'd be able to say every right thing to a girl when your out on the pull and you'd be in there in no time . I'd also like the ability to become invisible... that'd be awesome

I'll be there for around half 11 as well. I think i'll be chilling out on the metal rail gap thing just outside while i'm waiting for everyone. See you there

Too true, you know they're coming back in x-men 4 though .

Yeah i'm going to see it tomorro i think

I saw an interview with the guy who plays charlie... can't think of his name. He said they'd done season 3 and were half way through season 4 and were looking at doing season 5 straight after as well. I'm currently downloading episode 23 now... where'd everyone get episode 24 from?

Whoever put a url to this topic has gone and put this guy in the shits a bit. I mean, if they know how to, they can now follow the link, find out who started it, click on his profile, find his e-mail address is sam.thwaites@ntlworld.com and send him some abuse. They'll also know his name is sam thwaites and that he rides a "BT raven 4, fresh products tensioner, hs-33s, middleburns , etc." so thats probably going to be on the local chav wanted list for things to rob. Nice going there

A top spec limey or top spec KOT MS2 (not with dual disc though) both as long as i could get them... or even a long echo control. Sometime soon i think

A local lad near me has snapped 2 there and he can only just peddle hop... and yes it was the new versionit was a 2.six.

I'm still like that, i can be quite happy for hours on end on a small wall or even selection of well placed curbs... I admit some of the bigger stuff does scare me a bit but that a part of the fun isn't it? A lot of the time i do think things are to big and i will refuse to do them... i don't push myself enough. I'm happy though so i couldn't give a s**t if its not the biggest highest drop gap ever.. there's no point doing it if you're gonna land like a sack of s**t. I do like the look of the new parts though, and i prefer the new style of frames to the old ones, but i do like watching my trialsride.com videos. Legendary

Looks alright, just keep an eye on that right side chainstay/bb join area... if they even hear talk of doing something big or slightly above 2 feet high they snap.
-
I don't like it either i'm afraid... i wouldn't be seen dead on that bike, unless i was earning money for charity and i was dressed up like a pirate or something stupid as well. At least that way it would be half okay because people would realise i'm looking like a tit on purpose. I also don't like monty's so that doesn't help it. I like the cut and shut jobbie though, despite the fact i'd be slightly wary about doing any front wheel moves/hooks for fear of it snapping as it's going to be undeniably weaker now.

But surely if it was popular the people wouldn't be selling them... maybe their selling mods for stocks and vica versa. Google fight is clear on which one is better .

Koxx Blocks , What Coulour To Get ?
Krisboats replied to Ride or die's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
It doesn't make that much of a difference, my yellows are supposed to be for dry weather yet they performed brilliantly in the wet on saturday. Shame i can't say the same for my front disc, it started raining and the disk gained braking power, the magura stayed the same... it rained even heavier, the disc got worse and almost failed to stop at all, the magura stayed the same... in fact even in completely torrential rain my koxx yellows retained their squeak and most of their grab. Koxx yellows out-performed my friends heatsink blues by a shed load. -
Okay mark, its alright
-
I'm usually alright with going on other peoples bikes once i've gotten used to how their brakes work, which only takes a minute or two. I can also switch between riding a stock and a mod pretty easily too although i don't do anything massive on the little bikes because i dont really trust them, i can sidehop them pretty well though .

Koxx Blocks , What Coulour To Get ?
Krisboats replied to Ride or die's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
I've had koxx yellows on a medium grind for the past couple of weeks and they have performed very well. Going from cousts to these the yellows have only slipped twice, but are otherwise on a par with the cousts... only a much louder honk when i'm riding. -

Pull up like a madman, also use the tyre bounce thing mentioned above... and pull the bars to your chin while stretching your feet out in front of you. You need to do it the same way as me.... peddle, peddle, peddle... coast... BUNNYHOP!
-
Nah i was just too lazy to type so i copied yours and changed it so it was correct for me ... the gay comment was a bit harsh

I'll join in with this little competition. Though you have an unfair advantage andy... you can go whenever you want because you live in loughborough
