  1. No Take it from me, eating multiple packets within a few minutes does nothing. Go for it, it tastes nice.
  2. nah i need your steam i.d. or e-mail address EDIT: i used the wheredidthatstaincomefrom address from your profile and its added a person to my friends list, i'm guessing thats you and not someone coincidentally having the exact same email address
  3. Yeah, i used rivatuner to do it and when i got the artifacts i got a little worried so i made rivatuner find the best overclock levels and left it at that. Havn't touched it since, like you though it plays CS:S alright so i'm happy with it like it is. You'll have to give me a game sometime
  4. I did not shit myself It was definately the brake slipping The koxx yellows don't seem to want to work too well unless your grind is completely fresh and i dont want to put yet another grind on ym rim... its had far too many I showed my nan today and she about had a heart attack i might not show her any bails again EDIT: Think i misjusged it a bit [attachmentid=5634]
  5. Well its not me because i havn't reviewed the koxx yellows in the pad review thread .... you might want to go check things out before you say stuff so you don't look like a twat on here
  6. The gap measures at 6'10" and has about a foot step up where i did it so yeah, there was a need to bunnyhop it. Grinds fine and the pads are still alright... koxx yellows if your wondering it's just i landed too vertically Hardly a mark at all... but i suppose i can get you a picture jason
  7. Its just a myspace page thats set to private so no-one can view it without adding you as a friend... nothing worth making a topic about
  8. Well as far as a streety frame goes it is definately a good one . It has a low bottom bracket and short chainstays which help make it easier to flick the front end up and they seem to take a bit of a beating, mines lasted from me starting riding properly till now which is around 18 months. And i'm 6'5" so i feel i can give you a good review to use . The bike itself feels nice to ride and the geometry makes for a responsive and flickable bike that is happy to do the more streety moves like manuals and 180's etc. while at the same time its still able to be ridden for actual trials riding like gapping, sidehops and front taps . It helped me improve in all aspects of my riding a lot better than my rubbish old frame i had before it and at no point have i felt the frame has ever held me back.... until recently. Now with me being a bigger rider and now that i've advanced in trials it is starting to feel a bit too short for me. I find i can gap my other friends bikes with a lot less effort than my own, so a longer frame at around a 1080+ wheelbase is something that i think i'm going to need to further and ease my progression. However with the longer bikes it is harder to do the more streety side of trials, but again not impossible. I can comfortably bunnyhop a t-rex or coustellier frame with a 1085'ish wheelbase after a couple of minutes of riding the bike so that might be an avenue you might want to explore as well. I am curious as to why you would like to put 24" wheels into it, and am taking this opportunity to highlight the fact that with 24" wheels you will either need brake mount adaptors for the vee brake lugs or to run a rear disc brake. This is something you are most likely to be aware of but what you may not know is that the disc mount on the TA26 is wimpy to say the least, the actual mount is quite thin and seems to be something thats been put on there for lighter riding rather than trials and with no kind of support beam between the chainstay and seatstay it would be very likely to break along the seatstay as the forces of trials riding are very abrupt on the brake and with no support i'm unsure as to whether the frame would cope with it . Whilst i'm highlighting areas of weakness the frame also seems to suffer from a tendancy to crack around the seatstay/seatube welding on the right hand side and there have been several riders who have found this to be a problem. However at 16 stone i'm not exactly light and the frame shows no sign of cracking yet so as with a lot of other people it should hold out on you for well over the warranty time and more than likely until you become bored of it. So for a first bike i would recommend it. It is fun, relatively cheap at £169.99 and is likely to last you a while... it also sounds to be right up your street as you say you have a bmxing background. Now another thing you may be unaware of is that trials bikes are generally measured by the wheelbase (from axle to axle) unlike the bmx toptube size so i currently dont know how long the toptube is but as i stated earlier it has a 1040 wheelbase and as for how high it is with 24" wheels i really don't know what you mean.... how high where? The bars? The seat? The axles? The bottom bracket? It has an 11" seat tube if that helps and the bars sit at around 40-41 inches off the floor with my 26" wheels so take an inch off and thats how high they'll be with 24"s, though this will vary with whatever stem/bar setup you choose to use on it. Anything else just ask
  9. Ha ha, Tomm you knows it..... far cry rocks! I think this is one of the funniest threads i've read in a while.... fair play to you for wanting to sort your pc out but looking for an artifact destoyer is one of the funniest things i've heard all week. I've also had giant lines that progressed to huge walls of colour then to not being able to see a thing when i overclocked my GFX card a tad too much.
  10. Well here we go Left click to trials-shack page Didn't really hurt much... and only got a little graze/friction burn on my back. Got back up and nailed it though
  11. He knows... they are definately the best cable to get for it.
  12. Next time your out riding try just going into a very busy public area and finding a quiet little area of it to ride in, even if its just something like 180's or crankflipping. If theres a rideable object in the vacinity of a busy public area even better. I pretty much guarantee that you'll get a crowd of the positive variety who will be genuinely impressed and will ask questions like how long it takes to learn how to ride like that. I really love riding in front of people and it usually inspires me to try more impressive things in a kind of showing off way. There will always be the miserable old git who thinks they can boss you around but in all fairness they ACTUALLY HAVE NOTHING ELSE TO DO! Joke's kind of on them in a messed up way.

    Death

I agree, You'll have grown up by then and most likely have realised that theres so much more to live for. I like to think i've done a lot in my life, though you could also think i've not done much. Been to school, went to college, did terribly in my exams 2 years running and stopped behind for a third year... soon to be going to uni. Haven't started driving yet, don't have a proper job... the list goes on. I do have an alright family, great friends, i've done so much i can't even begin to write it all down.... f**k it i'll give it a go. I've been on a hot air ballon, been snorkling in maritius, stroked a dolphin, watched a sunrise and a sunset, driven a hovercraft, become more competant on a bike than a lot of people could even dream of, been in a Tornado fighter jet and fired up the engines, ragged a quadbike through a wood at 45mph! it just keeps going on like that And for those of us who say its hard to imagine death just being nothingness, apparantly its because the human brain is incapable of thinking of it, the same way its impossible to comprehend how big the universe is. We can't imagine something so small as being nothing at all and we can't imagine something so infinately big... about the only thing i remember from GCSE science As for what i think appens after death, well i'm unsure like everyone else. I like to think that we come back and have another life, theres been so many cases of people remembering past lives that it makes it seem possible. I also don't beleive in god or anything however i quite often find myself thinking there is a heaven. I would also like to have some sort of list of things that we can do... like a menu and we get to choose something off it like coming back as a squirrel with tirrets (dunno how to spell it)
  14. I changed the grease in my hope Xc, now i know... its not the same huib but the effects of it will be the same, more solid feeling engagements and it is VERY rare for it to skip when i'm riding it. It skipped a couple of times with the grease still in but after you can just physically feel the difference. Give it a go, you'll be suprised
  15. Why are you using a rim brake on a disc specific rim? Looks nice though, just get a proper front brake on there
  16. Its like the top topic in the News section
  17. or you could try a hightened chainstay like that of the new ali c/koxx design to eliminate chainstay bashage and to allow for chain removal without the need for a tool. You could then buils it and let me know whether its possible to sidehop onto the chain on it and snap the b*****d chain .... been bugging me for ages
  18. Seconded, i want my 2 minutes back... ah f**k it i'll probably waste them anyway
  19. Dont forget the fact that this pc was overclocked more than some of the top RECORD HOLDING overclocks done by professionals intent on getting the highest overclock as a part of their ambition/hobby and using the very latest cooling hardware in america, but petes was just used as a stable machine for everyday work
  20. Commentator: "Joe Cole..... (receives ball and looks as though he wants to take a shot) Why not?" JOE COLE SCORES!!! Oh my god that was hilarious, the tone of his voice and everything... just didn't see it coming.
  21. nah dual elite sniping... now that takes skill
  22. choose an image in the options menu and press T when playing download xfire- then add me on that i'm krisboats... same as i am on everything in life EDIT: Damn you tomm, too damn fast for me
  23. So your dads name is andy freeman? Also grinds on discs are shit, they dont work anywhere near as well and shouldn't because disc pads need a smooth surface in order to work to their maximum potential. however if your dad owned ebc brakes i'm sure he would have told you this EDIT: Tom beat me to it
  24. I didn't bother with mine, i put it on the other day for a laugh but to be honest it made my bike look so aweful and cheap that i decided to take it right back off again. Don't bother with it, plus they're superly weak anyway.... i snapped one of them by undoing the bolt
  25. Its along the same lines though isn't it... driver falls asleep brakes dont work without the driver controlling them so its similar to a brake failure. Still a damn good idea, probably saved a fair few lives Back on topic, wasn't there someone who left their bike at a party or something and his mates bled his maggie with piss?
