  1. It's not that long, something like a 50 minute car journey so it should be even quicker by train. EDIT: 56 minute train journey and they run pretty much every hour of the day

    I Need Help

Well its worked.. stupid me had one computer with the workgroup MSHOME and the other with just HOME. It couldn't find it automatically but it was fine after i typed in the computer name and printer name. cheers tom... still got no clue aboput how to share files but i'm going to be reformatting one of the pc's tonight hopefully anyway so it's not going to be too much of a problem. Just before i do, I'm copying all the files onto portable hard drives and then i'm going to use the recovery disks that came with the laptop to put it back to how it was several years ago. Is there anything i should know before i do it as i've never done it before.
  3. Right its my easter holidays next week and i'm sure i can drag the leicester possy down for a ride at somepoint.
  4. Smart guys or non bonded Fly guys should last you a while.
  5. Really, You reckon? They look pretty f**kin similar to me.
  6. I've used this shop several times now without problems, i bought my seat and second cracnkset from there. Try giving the activesport number a ring, they're fairly helpful people and should get you sorted fairly soon.
  7. Yeah bb rise is from the imaginary line between youre axles, or very real line if you stick a long ruler from one to the other. BB rise will also make the bike feel more responsive on the back wheel but can be almost cancelled out with longer chainstays to make the bike feel relatively normal. The headtube angle defines how responsive the front end is and a slacker angle will give a longer wheel base but will make turning slower so on a trials bike a slack head angle is good on a jump bike a tighter angle is needed for faster response between jumps. The length of your chainstays defines how the bike will pull onto the back wheel. For example shorter stays will allow the bike to leift easier and will generally make it feel more flickable where as longer chainstays will make it feel slower and hard to bunnyhop. The length of your seat-tube obviously gives you more or less clearance for sidehops. The length of the toptube will give a longer or shorter cockpit so will make the bike more suitable for taller or shorter people. As far as i'm aware thats all correct. hope it helps
  8. Middleburn copies... shame its only available in around 42 tooth smallest. A bit of competition though for everyone else.
  9. OKay with my front disc connected properly mine goes on average 17 seconds. Without it i get an average of 5 minutes 22 seconds. Onza hub, onza ronnie rim, supercycles wheelbuild slightly untrue tioga dh rear 2.3 tyre. (stock bike)
  10. f**kin hell, how lucky are you! So glad you got it back dude, sorry about you're other stuff though.
  11. hmm big fat holes above the axle droopouts and not gussets on the legs. Get sonme echo Forks!!! I'nm gonnsa be
  12. I couldn't get hold of anyone in loughborough after i missed the train i was meant to get and then when the rest said they were in nottingham i was gonna meet them as well but no train showed up. I gave up at that point and went to the cinema's, today's ride got royally f**ked up the arse then.
  13. ^^^ Not a seat mate, sorry to be the one to have to tell you. You need a seatpost, seat clamp and a proper seat not a curved piece of metal. Using one of them plus being a sketchy heavy lander is what has led to you killing three bases. EDIT: There's not really a lot of that seat tube left either... wouldn't have helped it much
  14. That was funny, although it did f**k my wrist up for about 9 months. I destroyed all but one pawl in the hub that only clicked 4 times in every wheel rotation. I managed to ride myself home on that as well (about 7 miles). From seeing friends bikes the ACS was a lot better on the back of a stock bike than the front, though it did skip for both users it skipped more on the front.... I don't know if this is the same with mod bikes though.

    I Need Help

I have a similar problem though not entirely the same, well not really the same at all. I have two computers running xp and a netgear modem/wireless router. I cannot for the life of me get them to share files or share the printer connected to the desktop pc (connected directly to the modem with a cable) from my desktop to my laptop. I have tried everything recommended and there's still no luck with it.
  16. And yet i've had mine since november 04 without any problems, I'm guessing you're friend just didn't run a seat and is a bit on the harsh side.
  17. Here's mine... not quite finished yet, I'll re-post when it is.
  18. Or i could fix it for you tomorro. I mean nobody else noticed that boumsong had left out the lower bearing race on his headset till i looked at it and said it wasn't there.

    Bt Mod?

Yeah, i was also under the impression that bt were focussing on creating their 24" frame.
  20. I shall be there also, providing i don't miss the damn train again! I'm getting the leicester to nottingham train at 10.39 at the syston station. should be in loughborough about 11.00
  21. Yeah but we've all seen front gaps before, we want something new! I'm gonna try and get x-up crankflip can can's while i'm there Just best not rain!
  22. i shall also make an appearance, well hey you need someone to show you lot how to ride properly! :$
  23. i havn't won the lottery yet so i'm going to say that yes, i am unlucky
  24. Ebay have a very wide range of rotors and the A2Z range come in 180mm with 5 different styled rotors to choose from, they are very good performers as well. The woollhatshop ebay shop sells a tonne of disc brake parts that are at pretty good prices £16.99 etc for a 203mm disc. Wiggle also do a lot of 180mm rotors i think the main ones being the aztec rotors which are again very good discs.
