I got what you meant, i didn't think that you meant attach a whole wheel to my magura with the bearings attached to it and everything. I'm 18 not 12 I've e-mailed mr steve about the sizes and whether or not i can use normal pad material, so we will have to wait to find out for sure. I hope you are right about it only being little 'pins' that need holes making in the rubber. cheers for the help everyone.

I don't know how they are bigger, it just says on the heatsink site that the refill pads fit the hs33 cnc backings but can be made to fit the standard plastic hs33 backings if your proficient enough with a stanley knife. So i'm guessing you have to cut some material away to get it to fit, so the cnc backings will be bigger.

Show off U won't be smiling so much if it happens to vanish next time i come round I don't think it needs much more doing to it though andy... with it being in the top 1% and all. What are you planning on doing to the RAM? altering the FSB:DRAM divider? overvolting it? or relaxing the latencies a bit to allow you to let you overclock the frequency a bit more? P.S. ^^^ Thats me showing off because i learnt about it today
-
That might be a much more expensive way of doing it though, as i'd have to pay for the cost of the pads each time. That would make it just as expensive as buying the pads seperately all the time instead of using the cheaper refills.

Are they the same shape and size for the inside mounting bit that goes into the backings as the hs33 versions?

What about insest being bad, yet god only made one man and one woman. So that means they're children must have shagged each other so there was a human population . Unless he did it jesus and mary style and made them all pregnant virgins . But wouldn't that have been documented? I mean if it was such a great thing when it happened to just mary wouldn't it have been even better if he did it to several people ? They could have had like their own pregnant virgins club .

They stretch? They're loads bigger than a kmc kool, the pins are bigger, the links are wider and the metal plates are thicker... The pin has been struck as well so theres the indent in the end of it, and it has two grooves on the pin for the outer plates to sit in so the chain doesn't splay. I had to get a pair of pliers on the end of my chain tool for more leverage because the pins are so firmly in place.

I don't really fancy using roller blade wheels to be honest with you, i don't know whether they'd be as good and i don't think i'd have the same confidence in them for some reason. EDIT: Just a thought, is it possible to buy blocks of the rubber still from somewhere, i know there was some red rimjam material that was going about the forum. Do blocks of the coust pad exist? Or would it be possible to pull the pads out of a standard magura pad and pack them with something to make them fit properly in the cnc backings? A set of zoo pads in cnc backings would be mightily cool. I think that was a bit of a clever idea by mr steve, making them slightly bigger so we can't just use rubber from other pads, that is of course if it was intentional... he might not have realised.

I am looking at getting a set of the heatsink hs33 cnc backings with some of the coust rubber in them, but what i was wondering is when this runs out what pad re-fills are available. I know a lot of people are now into making their own pads and I wanted to know whether it's possible to get more pad compound of say the coust rubber or maybe plazmatic rubber if anybody has any of that. I would just like a list really of all the different pad materials that would be available to use, i'm sure i'm not the only one who would like to know. cheers kris

I have a home made high jump bar, some boxes i built that are big enough to sit my bike on easily enough, several pallets and some logs. Get some crates, then some other random bits and just be creative. Doesn't hurt to go to a local building site when they're shifting the big blue workhouses to see if they will let you have some of the railway sleepers they sometimes use as bases for they're steel huts. I did that and they said it will take them a week to move but till then we can use them for whatever we wanted. It made a right good course that did.

I went to wilko's and bought a grey primer can of spray paint and two black cans of paint and it all came to under a fiver. It's been on the helmet aorund a year now and i've banged it on things a couple of times and its still absolutely fine.

I also think this would be a good idea, It would be great to buy some new parts and then be all excited about them. I usually ride better when i'm all excited about new parts on my bike as well.
-
It actually tells you that it's compatible on the fresh products web site. click here < not really that hard was it? They are great though, i love mine.
-
it worked alright for me, nice video. Did you ever make it into the basebikes sponsership thing with that?
-
well by the way it changes from not working to working then back to not working again, i would think its most likely a software issue rather than anything being wrong with your cable. I mean it works for a brief second or two so theres obviously nothing wrong with your current cable. Try updating your graphics drivers, depending on your card and how old the drivers are it might have been an issue thats already been addressed and corrected, so the new drivers should sort it out. Head over to the nvidia website for the latest drivers. Also see if theres any settings on there that you need to change for it to work properly. Right click the desktop and click properties>settings tab> advanced> graphics card model tab> then have a look at these settings to see if theres anything you can do to change it.

Ben's chainring did that today, it just went bang and we both looked at his rear king , shows how much we trusted that ! When we looked at his crank the chainring had been ripped off his middleburns and it had snapped in half. It had also snapped at one of the mounting holes. Luckily we were riding in nottingham and were just outside the supercycles shop
-
well thats that mystery solved then, i think i would prefer the rounder ones for attaching my rear magura to the frame with, the spikey ones look like they might be asking for my shin/calf to scrape up them so they can eat my leg
-
well i was thinking of using it on my other bike , but i don't think i'm going to now. I might have a go at selling the links either seperately if theres enough interest on ebay or here and if not then i can just sell it as a whole chain. Thats the plan so far, i have still got to get round to selling them though .
-
its an onza guarantee not qa shop guarantee, so yeah tartybikes does offer that, as does every other shop that sells an onza product. I think it says that in the terms and conditions of the tartybikes site. Quite a few places charge for postage if you buy things online, wiggle do. I don't like it much either.

Was it a shadow conspiracy interlock v2 chain? It's a bmx chain that i bought the other day, set me back £25 and i only ever ended up using one link from it so i could have a shorter kmc kool chain. Its loads bigger than the kmc though and the metal plates are thicker as well, so is the pin too. Seems to be running perfectly with my kmc and lets me have a really nice tension with my fresh products tensioner.

Have you never wondered why when you make a move that you've been close to getting, you can do it again almost perfectly if you try it again straight away. If you know you can do it because you have just made it you will believe you can, and subsequently will make it. you all have to remember though, there is no spoon. Usually works for me.
-
I reckon if you said that to him he would most likely tell you that you should put it into your pocket or a bag. Being drunk and disorderly is not a crime, its a good thing!
-
Is it just me or does this look a little worrying ofr some reason the videos don't work for me, but has anyone looked at the chain? Its just a KMC Kool
-
hell yeah, that looks awesome. I'll definately be buying a copy of that, the angles and riding look to go together beautifully.

most riders who have been riding for around five years can easily do double of this another example of you being better than someone riding for five years? You really ARE mad! lose the whole everything being blue, try something more less blocky and with more flow. You might also want to put a sidehop in the list of begginers moves that you've got going down on there. I used a template on my site and it didn't take too long to find and change to how i wanted it, i basically ripped the thing to pices and just left the basics of it.. but even mine needs stuff improving on it, like the main title. If you make the browser window smaller the right hand squiggly mess goes under the title and makes the site a mess.
