  1. lmao, ben u struggle with around 42 inches. i can do about 43-44 inches tapping, 43-44 inches bunnyhopping, and somewhere between about 30-35 inches static.
  2. yeah but u didn't really jump over the bars, you kind of hung on to them and jumped your legs over then pile drivered the bike into the floor. cheers for the money though, i'm not complainaing about receiving some more of it .

  4. i agree with paul, i've nothing else to add. only that i'm getting a bigger frame soon and i'm determined to ride it in a streety style.
  5. I wasn't amazingly pissed off, its not like i don't have spares at home to keep me going, but your face was f**kin hilarious jon.
  6. Give it a go, if it doesn't work you can always change it back. just play about till you find the best one.
  7. take this fight to msn. Anybody have any pictures of an adamant built up then? pretty please ?
  8. Are the other computers on the network taking up all the bandwidth? like are THEY downloading stuff and not you. get them to stop and it should be it. I don't know why a wireless connection would stop you playing, there might be a little more lag but it should still work.
  9. base ta26...... enough said. i don't know how long you want to go though but i'm switching to a long frame soon and i don't plan on letting it stop me bunnyhopping so i would say if you want one get one but stay at it and eventually you will get used to it.
  10. You didn't get them from supercycles, you got them from ME and no he let ME buy them, then i gave them to you because they wore out so damn fast, half the pad had gone by the time i was about 200 yards down the road. worst pads i've ever bought, even though i was advised to use them because i had a grind. I should really have taken them back but i guess its too late now.
  11. Here's a pick off tartybikes site. Dunno whether you've seen it or not. But they mosty definately look raked.
  12. My forks had an accident today, after 3 months of riding on them. I have done a lot of taps though. They went when my mate jon nose dived off a two foot wall... i'm so glad they went on him and not on a tap . so i was looking at getting some black smart guys if i can get the half price replacement from them. And i would like to know what adamant a1's look like when they're fully built up with different parts so if any one has any could they post them up please. I need a new frame soon because mines really small . cheers, kris
  13. and the fact that the majority of the time when u see them riding they never really manage to land anything, they just spin the board and jump out the way. Unless they are actual alright at it . I would like to see biketrials as an olympic sport, it would be amazing to watch it live on the tele.
  14. I like the look of the bottom bracket, any information on what sort of seals, bearings and axle are inside it?
  15. Yeah get a copy of an xp installation disk, it'll ask you if you want to format the drive so its fully clean and then it puts windows on and after a little while it restarts and windows should run perfectly well. just grab a windows xp cd.

The first one was quality, good find!
  17. An even better rider can reailise that he's bailing and still manage to recover it somehow and land the trick. I've landed a gap when a freehub blew up before, and also landed a chain snapping when i was hopping off a rail. I'm not really a good rider though. I'm loving the way your ankles kind of flop about when you land and they don't get hurt, its crazy.

  19. It was o.k. the basist looks a bit like an etheopian though because he's so skinny. What would have made it better would be to have actually made that guy get wankered, because its amazingly hard to act drunk... it just always looks fake. I also think the clip of the two people walking through the park was too long and slow for the music.. you should have changed to different angles as they were wlaking along so it fitted the song more. Apart from that though it was good.

gets tangled in this and u can't use it anymore!
  21. Take the rotor off and stick it in the dishwasher, it'll get everything off it. Same as it does greasey and oily baking tins/pots. Burn the pads a bit till they go black, or cook them in the oven on a high temperature for around 15-20 minutes. Then boil the pads as well, this'll help to clean off the burn residues as well. Then wipe pads with a NEW, CLEAN rag. Stick it all back together and it'll be fine. just bed it in as normal.
  22. Pretty much the same as everyone else has said, just pop it back off and spray some wd40 onto a rag or old toothbrush if you've got one and clean the inside. I then wiped all the excess wd40 out with a dry rag and then put a little bit of grease on the end of my finger and ran it round the ratchet anticlockwise. so not much got stuck in the little ridges. When you're putting it back together make sure you turn it anti-clockwise so the pawls don't tear the little seal as it goes back in. should be fine then.
  23. I love bunnyhopping but i do need a bigger bike... After going into supercycles the other day and having a go on the limey i might be going for one of those. I still reckon i'll be able to bunnyhop it because it'll be the right sized bike for me, seeing as i'm 6'5". It did feel really nice though I've had a little go at hooks with my mate but never manged one, got reall close though. but i was thinking does anybody reckon it'd be possible to do a front tap into a hook if they changed the techniques a little bit? Imagine how high you could go with that!
  24. It also says that the refill material can be fitted to a standard magura backing if your profficient with a stanley knife, which implies its a different size.. so i thought i'd ask about it. Is that alright with you? I think it is you who has not read properly child! I mean, if your so smart and read everything so well howcome you didn't realise that my original post was asking about what pad comounds are available, like rim jam material, or plazmatic material, or some of the coust material. i didn't originally ask whether or not they fitted, but whether blocks of the material are avaialable to buy seperately. The question of whether or not normal pads fit was a side question that occured when the topic went slightly away from my original question, which is just here in case you missed it. Sorry for trying to make sure i'm completely happy with something before i spend £32 on it. Cheers for the help steve, that cleared it all up for me. I think i will be having a set of those then... I'll order them in a minute. Cheers to evryone else who helped as well, it was muchly appreciated!
