-

I pointed nick in the direction of my mates band, he seemed interested and has apparantly got in contact with them and they are completely happy to let him use the music in his dvd. So that may be the song issues sorted out. I'm not saying for sure just thought there'd be a couple of people who would like to know. I know i'm gonna be buying a copy when its finished!

Yeah xfire is much better. My name on that is krisboats... if anyone feels like they need to add me go ahead! If you don't feel you need to add me DO IT ANYWAY! :P :P

if all the games are "supposedly" going to be on the ps3 howcome many of the playstation only games are moving to the xbox? devil may cry 4, is going to be only for the xbox 360. on paper the spec might win, but i've been told that the way they have designed the ps3 all the information that comes from the processors gets bottlenecked because of the way they have designed it :P . Anyway playstations are for chavs and 35+ guys who have nothing better to do, xbox's are much cooler! ^_^ plus ps3 has shit looking dildo controllers :P , till they make the new ones anyway.

i should be coming as well. i'm one of ben's mates :P

unless your really aggressive with your taps. :) i'm gonna go for a maxxis for my next tyre as well mate, my michelin comp 24 is seeming a bit treadless and quite heavy for my liking

I really do try not to hit walls and stuff with my bashguard or pedals. If i don't think i'm gonna make it my left foot always seems to find its way either on top of the wall or back down on the floor before i smack my bashring anyway. As for riding on old ruins, i have ridden on ruins in bradgate park before and did feel quite bad when my tyre slipped back after being in wet mud and my bashring hit the wall. That stopped me riding on them anyway. I just reckon if someone has a go about something just move somewhere else, but so long as no one is bothered about you riding there and your not hitting your bike against the walls over and over only to leave a battered looking wall behind you then its alright. bashrings are a last resort really, rather than another way of getting up something. (well thats my opinion anyway)

I always forget about the onza site, mainly because it never seems to have changed. I think they could probably get away with just having 2 updates pages though seeing as i don't think anyone really uses the rest of the site. I also think supercycles site is a bit shocking, the main layout is fine, its just when you want to get to the actual products theres either no picture, no info about the product or its put you off buying from there. (well it does me anyway) O.T. I also don't like the £3 something postage charge, it makes me want to see if anywhere else has stuff first that can deliver it for free... like chainreaction I think if it could be changed like www.trialsshop.co.uk has been it would be loads better, they used to be really quite similar before but now trialsshop wins my vote just for having pictures of most of their stock makes me want to buy from them.

ha ha, ice cube? :) its actually the logo off a basebikes TA26 frame, with the colours inverted so its blue and not red. anyway, imagine this post is invisble and comment on the guys above me, i've already had my ice cube turn. :)

Very good video again there andy. :- hopping round on that rail at 3:20 :S :) i agree there was a lot of slo-mo used, but, i think it was used effectively and there wasn't really anypoint in the vid when i thought christ almighty play it faster. well done! (N)

my mate uses coloured ink and mixes it with water then puts it in a spray bottle, about £4-5 for the ink then like £1.50 for the bottle. seems to do the job as well.
-
Nope, mine is still better than both of those, with these your sacrificing the spec for a larger screen. the £689.99 packard bell processor is 0.06 ghz faster but with half the cache size and a smaller hard drive size, it does have a larger screen though but i would have thought he would prefer a faster computer to an overly large screen. and the other one is just plain nasty, admittedly the processor is good but the ram is half the size and the hard disc drive is almost half the size as well. plus it has a lower spec graphics card (i think). oh yeah i forgot to say don't actually buy one from pc world. Listen to andy (tankrider) he knows his shit. And if he does spec up a computer for you it's gonna be good.
-
you'd want a fairly decent speed processor to encode the video's quickly, anything over like 3.0 Ghz (intel) or 2800 (amd) should do the job fine. Also you'll want about a gig of ram, definately NOTHING LESS THAN 512mb. Probably a fairly decently sized hard drive as well to store the video's on. Mine's 160gb with a partition of about 30mb for the windows software, then the rest of the space for everything else. something along the lines of this pc world link this one is about the spec you'll want but obviously as with all things you'll most likely find a better price on a better spec somewhere else. And it definately depends on how much you would want to spend. If you gave us a price i'm sure there'd be a couple of peopl that'd have fun for a few minuted building up the ideal computer for you on somewhere like www.overclocker.co.uk

Neither can whsmith, most dixons stores, amazon, gamaplay, play.com and i think even game are struggling to complete all their pre orders. 24-hour superstores were the place to be apparantly last night. Most of the large places like asda and tesco's had them in. But there were people queing from 6.00 last night ready for when the stores could sell them at midnight :S :P . (i went up to the counter and asked how many there were and the nice lady told me there was only five. about 30 people were queing! it was fun to walk down the line of peopl saying "ha, there's only five! and you're number 10 in the que" :) .) I'm gonna wait now till after xmas before i get mine, especially seeing as theres a ever increasing amount of people in america who's xbox's are starting to cock up. I thought it was just some rumours spreading but i was playing on a demo one in the choices video shop near me and king kong turned into a giant blue shape instead of being king kong :P . Of course with me being like i am it didn't take long for me to realise watching the giant blue shape jump across vines was really wuite funny. :P :D But then it crashed and the screen started flickering. (Y) The guy came over and said this was the third one they'd had for display purposes that had started behaving oddly, apparantly the first one had destroyed the disc that they put in and when they took it out the disc had been royally scratched up by something sticking out inside the xbox. (Y) It's not a surprise though, sony's ps2's had dvd playback errors when they first came out and there was something wrong with the original xbox's as well when they first came out. I'm just gonna wait till about february when most of the bugs will hopefully have been sorted out, and obviously when there's more of them available. *EDIT* if i'm gonna write something this long i might as well make sure it's written properly

When i first bought my bike i went for a ride and decided to buy some dmr pedals to replace my crappy plastic ones, i bought them from halfords and asked if i could borrow an adjustable spanner so i could fit them, they said no so i took the bike inside the shop and asked them to do it for me. he wanted £3 up front and then started to tighten the old pedals! i told him he was going the wrong way and he had a go at me for telling him how to do his job, he tried my way and funnily enough it worked.... on one pedal. He had tightened the other one up so much he couldn't get it undone. :P So I went to my mates house and borrowed an adjustable spanner off him. The guy didn't give me the money back until i got the store supervisorey type person either, dispite the fact he hadn't actually managed to do what i payed him to. :) halfords staff are generally retards. They do have good puncture repair kits though, and its nice to go look at all the shiny bike parts.

basically its really late notice because we didn't even know we were going but is there gonna be anyone else that can join us for the day? We'll still go if it's damp or wet because there will still be stuff to ride. :P If you don't know where it is it's in between leicester and nottingham, and seeing as the notts ride has changed from this saturday to next saturday will there be anyone interested who was previously going to nottingham but now doesn't have anything to do?

i have got normal xbox live, my name is krisboats on that as well. I don't have an xbox 360 either and don't think i will have unless i'm really early to the local currys on friday morning. they have 2 that they will have for sale on the day, I really hope there's no sad computer geeks that have camped for like 3 days just to get it because i'm gonna turn up about 10:30 when they open at 9:00, I can't get there any sooner. I really don't think its gonna happen. Shame really as there's nothing else i can think of that i could have for christmas. Mind you I only decided today that I would like one so its my own fault!
-
it's good that you've got it sorted! how did u find that out anyway? Will the place you bought it from replace it under warranty as ts a new computer?

Ah ha ha :) B) :P :santa: oh my god That was awesome, these guys have just been completely owned. I bet they're just like :) now! Bit worrying how convincing you guys were at being girls! :P :P well worth it lads. nice one! -
real helpfull aren't we? :) I would say depending on where you got it from take it back if it's new, you might be lucky and get a free or warranty repair, if not thenthey'll at least be able to have a look and most likely find the problem.

I think its because this guy isn't who he says he is... look at all his posts. He's just a bit too nice in NMC which i've been told by the higher powers is so he can get validated and start the annoying shit he used to do under the screename Floyd, as well as his other account... which, by the way, both got banned after he had a massive slag off with onzaboymark in chit chat. who in they're right mind talks like this unless they've been brought up on an island by their mum and dad with no other human contact. when has a complete new member ever spoken like that in they're first post, i know i didn't and i was validated in a week. he also mispells the same way nick used to, like retern and walm welcome

I broke my original bleed kit syringe 3 days after getting it whilst i was on holiday in penzance, i was pushing the hosing onto the syringe and the bloody syringe snapped. :D You get some really funny looks when you walk around town asking people in shops if they sell big fat syringes :D  . The woman in boots was like "er.. what are you going to use this for? It better be legal!" (Y) if your having trouble with the blocks to put hold the pipe still while you try to push the little metal fitting into it you can get 2 pieces of wood and then get a drill with a 6-8mm drill bit (i don't know exactly what size) then push the drill onto the wood sideways on so it makes a groove in the side of the wood, then you can put the hose inbetween the two blocks and clamp it in a vice.
