  1. move the lever further from the end of the bars and it won't crush your fingers. how much difference does the choice between 2 overlong, uncomfortable levers really make? - except that the tpa pokes out enough to stab you on the 04s and doesn't on the 05s
  2. you can probably just paint it. anyway . silly seattube, silly headtube junction. liking the little gussets and the super stumpy rear end sounds sensible.
  3. you know you're in Greece when the only way to get seen at the hospital is to bribe a nurse (bitter experience)
  4. prevents unwanted saddle sex too .
  5. get a pic of the tits posted up and i'll personally badger the mods till they validate you (i jest) I just buy everything from tartybikes - can't go wrong there. Never heard of a dissatisfied customer and they're lovely boys to chat with.
  6. i dunno - it'd save you a 1.5 degree pedal rotation when preloading which couldn't hurt. Theres been a big thread on this already in trials chat and (as is the way on here) we figured out it'd be expensive and weak as piss cos koxx made it.
  7. I think you'll find there's one other rider in the netherlands. he's on here a fair bit and goes by the name of endohopper. his bike is too clean though
  8. good tips. sadly - since he rides mod not much of that it is going to help him. The simple answer is run about 8-12 psi in your el cheapo innertube , get a creepy crawler on a wide rim - try-all, hog etc. and try not to smack your wheel into things so hard. I've only had one pinch in the last year and that was from a badly executed drop gap onto the pointy edge of a curb. It may be because I'm smoother than a brazilians bikini line but more likely its the combination of low pressure, wide rim and a big fat tyre.
  9. pleasant smelling tip from the heatsink website

    Rb....

fresh ones are pretty no version for the 05 bodies though - could they be bodged perhaps?
  11. tablespoon of marmite i like marmite but in that sort of quantity your tongue goes all curly and hard and you dribble everywhere. its not so much the dried dog that gets me - it's the fact that his bumhole's on the front

    Streets Of Paris

street one was good - i'll dl the big one at work where i'm not paying for the bandwidth . who's the little guy on the black mod ? he's ever so bouncy

    Bongo

bmxers use it inside their tyres to increase weight
  14. cos you weren't selling the right bit ...
  15. with those choices? file down the brake mounts - at least you wont f**k your frame up the arse permanently if ti goes wrong. of course you could just get brave and go brakeless
  16. you can ride any bike for trials - i did one of those wheelswap things on my bmx yesterday - and I got a lovely pinch flat climbing the side of the funbox. bung a nice low gear on it and ride up some walls - might as well, what the hell else are you going to do with it.
  17. I had the same dilemma a while back. the da bomb wasn't good enough anymore and it was about £300-£350 to get it up to a reasonable spec - not really worth it when i could get a t-pro with a front disk for £500 new. I say just buy a complete t-pro and then get some new forks when you've saved up. the frame's plenty good enough and the components are sound. by thime you've got yor dabomb up to a comparable spec you could have bought a t-pro and got yourself a decent frame into the bargain
  18. haaha. how, pray tell, do you know that?
  19. thats only the cheap ones. better ones require a 2 foot scaffolding pole and roughly 20 seconds of pasty giving. the more money you spend the longer it takes to open but none of them will stop an expert
  20. 1/8 ounce of cocaine in a jonny? that ought to be popular edit: if you were gay would you let me bum you ?
  21. use the built in unzipper in XP or get winzip to unzip copy the .ttf file into c:\windows\fonts - it will install it for you it won't be available in photoshop until you close and restart it and photoshop versions after 7 are all shite.
  22. go make some and then come back and tell us that again .. unless you're referring to the shite they play on radio 1 in which case have a biscuit anyway. anything by the lighthouse family. absolutely and categorically the worst music ever burnt to a cd. nothing I've ever heard angers me as much as that shite.
  23. mine live in the kitchen till the missus shouts at me, then they go upstairs to my little office room thing. there's no way I'd leave the poor things out in the rain - they'd get wet. Sheds are usually covered by household insurance but I don't have one so I'm buggered on that front. just remind mother dearest how much it'll cost her (because she made you put it outside despite your protests) to replace the bloody thing when it inevitably gets nicked and im sure she'll change her mind.
  24. hot cross buns this week - usually bacon sarnies plus at least 2 cups of coffee and a fag and occasionally a wee snifter of ouzo or a nice spot of single malt. (only if I'm going to work though )
  25. screens... Don't buy a tft screen for less than £500 - they're shite. The response times and contrast are nowhere near what you need for any serious graphical work. I have a 19" iiyama CRT at home which cost me £250 about 2 years ago and it pisses on any affordable flat screen I've ever seen. The 21" samsung I use at work is almost as good (£350 ish last week sometime) but doesn't handle 1600x1200 anything like as well as the iiyama. For the machine http://www1.euro.dell.com/content/products...sdt1&l=en&s=bsd - that's probably the sort of thing you want to be looking at (the precision workstations). Your main concern with video editing is hard disk speed / access times so you could downgrade the processor a little and dispense with the monitor / software bundles to get the price down. It's all customisable on the site. Don't be scared of Dell - the new boxes we're getting in at work are fooking excellent and they're very, very cheap. I mean it - I usually build my machines from scratch cos I have a very specific use in mind but next time I'm going to Dell for sure.
