it's great to see you on a proper bike again - your stock videos over winter were great but the wheels were just the wrong size. you're a big hairy beast
-
Like the man above says - insure it seperately, household insurance is ok but tends to be a bit stingy on the amounts you can insure for. Your best best is a decent lock and seperate insurance - I've got a facking great chain with quarter inch thick metal on the links and a monster padlock (d-locks have nothing on this one) but even that's not going to stop a professional bike thief - nothing will.
-
f**k - i paid £30 for almost exactly the same thing not a week ago - did yours wear latex gloves ?
-
haah! i like you, you dont f**k about i have better forks than terror error - and an eno
-
oh my god...there gay...they have got suspensions and 15" frames , they must be shit (especially for Joe) - ill try to remember to post back when ive watched it
-
does it really look like I spent time making mine look lovely ? - the gaffertape and scratches ought to have given you a clue. bike is for ride not sex looking - as it says in somebody's signature
-
dissertations? - you poor bastards... I spent my third year doing nothing but making a computer game and getting shitfaced. I did have to do a few 70+ hour stretches with no sleep towards the end to finish up in time and it cost a fortune in marching powder but it was considerably more fun than anything I've done since.

You should still defnitely pay a visit to the doctor - despite my earlier misgivings about GPs - a fractured scaphoid (apparently) just feels like a sprained wrist - which real men just ignore - and you've got very similar silly little bones in your ankle.
-
mines better - just nitromorse the big onza stickers off , get some zoo bits and leave everything else standard
-
The horror story was probably true- the weeny little bones in your wrist / ankle dont get a good blood supply if they get damaged and eventually they die off - which means bone grafts and a long, long time off your bike. It's probably too late for A&E now (24 hours is the limit there usually) so definitely head down to the doctor and get it poked at. Ask for an X-ray, and pretend it hurts more than it really does when they poke it or they'll just send you packing.

if you give me egg pie and beer you can ride silly little black bike. after some counting I discovered its 39-14 - which is about what everybody's saying. I'll just grow some balls and leg muscles instead then. and pinky - a lot more would be once
-
that sounds alright actually. any more votes?

Joe sold me a lovely bmx but its far too fast for me (girl) It's running something like 36 - 13 or 36 - 11 (I'd count but my bike is near the toilet at work and it's humming something rotten today). so.. what gear ratio does todays trendy bmxer run if they have a lttle cog on the back? 25-11 rings a bell which I guess translates to 28/30-13 sound about right ? I don't want to get laughed at any more than necessary down the skatepark ...

i think you're buggered cos it's a flah player - I've found the file (I think.) it'll be somewhere like this on your machine..... (once you've watched it all the way through) C:\Documents and Settings\YOURNAME\Local Settings\Temp\fla16.tmp (about 8.4 mb) I doubt you'll be able to rip it out very easily - you could try renaming it to fla16.swf and having a go with one of the many flash ripping programs but I've never had much success with them.

I was about to point you to gsport.co.uk where there was a lovely set of instructions on modding any old lever to run 2 cables but they've updated the site and its gone. it might be worth dropping him a mail to see if the page is squirrelled away somewhere

threadlock should work ok - but only if you clean the threads properly before applying it the best solution is to buy an eno

My Bike Is Finally Finished! What Do You Think

The seattube is where most of the stresses end up I think so guess banging a seatpost in would give you a bit of extra strength where it's needed. You could cut the seatpost down and still run your funny little plastic seat - as long as you never needed to get it out.. -
Bryce won't do you any good - it hasn't got the low level tools you need for realtime stuff, stick to maya. I was supposed to be helping you out with glueing the dog together wasnt I ? I'll drag maya out at home over the weekend if I get time and try to remember how the bugger works if i get the time. - for those that want to learn Maya (and haven't already stolen the full version) - google for Maya PLE and prepare yourself for several years of torment. There's a lot of web tutorials out there but you definitely need to go buy a decent book to get the most from it. I'd suggest trying something a bit simpler out first - purely because the learning curve on Maya is very steep indeed and it can get very frustrating (I've got 9 or 10 years of 3dsmax usage under my belt and it still confuses the hell out of me sometimes) good free 3D packages .... Wings3d is nice to model in - it's a little quirky and I don't think it does animation yet but i quite like it. Milkshape is quite good and fairly fully featured - I never got on with it personally but plenty of people do.
