  1. Bit of a drop-gap Damon was playing about with, Pulled 1st time, got it on video!
  2. Sweet video and some breath taking riding!! Got quite nervous with anticipation towards the end. Definitely a proud weekend for British Biketrials. I'm sure everyone will agree you did us proud!
  3. Hope XC :). Replaces his chain every few months (KHE Collapse), he's a sensible lad when it comes to replacing stuff, thank god.
  4. Backhop gap up to front wheel from blue pallet on the left. Pulled 1st time with front-backwheel wheelswap. Wasn't sure whether to laugh or cry when he pulled this 1st time, 9'1" flat to flat static gap. Vid coming soon hopefully >_<.
  5. Damon playing about with a gap up to front wheel from completely static on the blue pallet to the left of the pic. Again first time and pulled damn smooth frontwheel-backwheel swap.

    Static gap

Damon Watson with a little static gap he was playing about on. Flat to flat, 9'1" pulled clean first time!
  7. Very well done to all the Brits who rode in Japan. Done well there Patt, top result! :P Was there really only 3 Masters riders there? B)
  8. Really sorry to hear news like this. Hopefully the surgery will all go well and you'll be on the mend in no time! I'll look forward to hearing you're back riding in the near future  . Take it easy Kev, get well soon.
  9. That's gonna be an uber bunnyhop machine! hehe Flicky as owt, will suit you I reckon Alex, nice and light and flicky (Y). Hope it does you proud.
  10. The 661 Pro definitely gets my vote. Used one for couple of years, without a doubt it saved me rolling my ankle badly on numerous occasions. However, I've been seen to by Physio-Si and now ankle is feeling much stronger. Using the brace over that length of time had weakened my ankle a lot, to the point where just having my blanket resting on my ankle at night would cause me pain! If you have dodgy ankles then see a physio before you decide to get a brace. A brace will do for injury prevention while getting strength/flexibility back from a serious injury, but long term it's only going to do bad things.
  11. Go Phil, unleash the ginge on the grey-importing fraternity! I'll definitely be right behind you (not in a gay way, I like ginger GIRLS, not Phils).
  12. Toxsin = 26.75" Control '05 long = 27" Control '05 short = 26.25" Give or take a mm here or there.
  13. Echos come like a big airfix kit, all in bits (Y).
  14. Tut, stop making me out to be a filthy cheap sorta person. I may be filth, but filth of this quality doesnt come cheap lads! If you're gonna do it proper it should at least be an auction style, then I can find out who my true admirers are (and more importantly the ones with big wedges of cash to offer in return for services rendered)! As for you mike, it takes filth to know filth (Y).
  15. Best all-round front brake I've ever owned. To all those out there who arent fully happy with theirs, check pads are oiled up, get mounts faced and then get it bedded in again, I'm pretty confident you'll be impressed with the results! Power is awesome, nice amount of bite without being silly and the modulation is simply second to none.
  16. Liking that Mr Joe, excellent vid. Love thoe song choices! haha Also rather impressed with the riding, didnt realise you had it in yo. Thought you bought bikes to look pimp, not actually ride....guess I was wrong! hehe REALLY made me want to go and ride now :P
  17. All the security people were Scottish men and women. Should have heard em kicking off at the pikeys when they found out all the stuff that had been half-inched.
  18. He was definitely in on it with them. If he starts riding bmx, has a new pair of trainers and tells you he has a new phone number...we have enough proof to set the Scots on him.
  19. "Everyone look over there.....while the pikeys behind me raid all your tents!"
  20. For a sorta streety ride I'd say go for a GU short. The high bb will help the bike bunnyhop well when used with the right stem. Sidehops will also feel easier, as will backwheel control. In all honesty I find higher bb bikes more fun to ride, they have a nice light 'flicky' feeling about them. The GU frames can be used with just about any fork, it'll still be a great riding bike with Fattys.
  21. Righty fellow Northern-ish people! Is anyone driving down to Nass on Friday afternoon/evening or Saturday morning and can give my friend a lift? Damon Watson has work Friday until lunch time Friday, but is after a lift down if possible (due to extorsionate train prices). If anyone can help of knows of anyone that may be able to help please msn or email me! Cheers (Y) Dave
  22. Tut, you cant move the goalposts after I've taken my freekick!!! :) In that case, I vote goat. But in a game of top-trumps by Skoda would beat both the goat AND that Skoda pictured :P.
  23. As a Skoda owner myself I would have to say that despite not driving many goats in the recent past, I struggle to imagine they'd cruise down the motorway quite so well! However, a Skoda 'cruise' speed is probably similar to a fast goat anyway, so it'd be a tough call. What with petrol prices set to increase in the near future I'm actually getting slightly swayed towards the goat now! Hmm, it's actually tougher than at first glance. My Felicia has stood by me well, so I'll have to stick with her I'm affraid. I'm gonna vote Skoda!
  24. Danny Smith is ex motorbike trials, as is Ashton, Danny Butler and Chris Doney I believe (someone in the know please confirm or deny this).
  25. ooooooooooooooooh....can we have a battle to the dye (like die - death, etc)? Loser has to lose the ginge? :P (that's probably really cruel actually, I know how you two love your gingerness) Before you ask, my gf IS NOT included in this riding competition, so dont get any dirty-ginger ideas! :D
