Wooo, 2:1 to us in the ginger stakes, my gf is ginger too! Although I have heard rumours about Phil having a ginger-rinse? :P

Internal so Vario have told us. Vario call them 'semi-integrated', but that leads to condusion. Same style/system as Rex etc, internal, still has separate cups and sealed cartridge bearings.

I cant say for sure to be honest. They may have been delayed due to Adam's exams, but I'll chase them up tomorrow when I see Adam at the YMSA comp. Ask your mate to add me to msn if he can, so I can keep him updated on their progress/whereabouts .

Well, for 450 you basically have choice of 90% of frames out there!! Control would be an excellent choice for something slightly more traditional in ride feel/geometry. Short one for bunnyhops and spins, or longer one for big taps and hooks . However, I would seriously urge you to consider getting a HiFi! The geometry of them makes them ride as if the bike were much lighter, even though it isn't a heavy frame as it is! Trustworthy Echo tubeset strength with awesome added stiffness etc from cnc machine bb/chainstay yoke and headtube yoke. Look the mutts and an awesome all-round bike in my opinion. The high bb will also make it more bunnyhop-able than other bikes of similar length. Benefits of flicky geometry and also long wheelbase in one gorgeous looking frame...sounds wicked :(. As for where to buy em, well, I'm not allowed to say.

Try and determine what tube the parts are in. Chances are they are balls from when it was ball-burnished/polished, so they'll be stee. Get a magnet and hold it over one of the bearther holes in the tube if you can. Jiggle the frame about and tip it up and down, the balls should stick to the magnet and come out the hole they entered in .

Shark: "tell you what.....getting bummed by this guy in the red shirt may not be great, but at least I won't have to go down on my wife at 'that' time again."

Possibly the widest trials-forum page I've ever seen while it was load!!! haha Dont worry people, it does shrink down once they've loaded. Looks really good mate, very professional! Only criticism would be the writing over pictures is a little hard to read sometimes, especially if it's a long paragraph. Some good photography that's for sure! Trials needs good photographs in the media. Rarely see any I like at the moment, so good to see your project has some decent quality stuff! :S Top job.

Well done to all the Brits who took part, got my respect for even entering! Especially well done to Slinger (next time geez) and Butler, not bad for their age I guess (Y)

122.5 should do you proud

Ideally a 127.5 (taper) or 128 (isis) in 68 shell would be the best solution. However, some isis bb's only come in 73mm shell width now, so they are sold with an accompanying spacer to make them fit 68 shell frames like the rex just fine. If you get get yourself a 127.5mm 68 shell Shimano you've hit the nail on the head in the taper market!

Vario UK :( But they will be available through selected retailers soon!

“springy yet controlled – the frame offers a very confident feeling” I have a sneaky feeling this is a bit of a mix up in translation: The frame is by no means 'springy', in fact, it's probably the stiffest frame I've come across!! I'd hazard a guess that Tibo means that with the geometry as it is (with a 30mm bb rise and not overly long wheelbase) 'nimble' or 'agile' would sound like a more appropriate description :S. Can't wait to get my hands on one, and if anyone moans about this frame being un-original or too generic, I think I'll cry!!

There's also a rather childish (but very amusing) bit of scalpel trickery that can be done with the seatstay logos....'THE rEsuRECTION.' I'm so mature!! haha

That looks bloody random Ali! lol Finding it hard to visualise what sommet like that would be like to ride :ermm:. Gonna enter any competitions on it? haha

Finally home! Beast ride today (Y). Some seriously sick stuff by a number of riders....Matt Staples...monster!!! Damon went big as ever, and a sweet drop gap over the steps. So many good riders out, was awesome. Great to start putting faces to names and msn conversation. Also sweet to meet new people:), topped off an excellent day really! All in all, sick riding and great meeting loads of riders for the first time, definitely made the 5+ hours of travelling worthwhile! Hopefully see you all again in the summer, if not before!! Dave (davecz1@hotmail.com if anyone I met today fancies saying hi on msn!)

Hope Mono Trial 180mm front disc for sure. Awesome front brake. The only disc brake designed with biketrials use in mind.....Says it all really! The best modulation of any brake I've tried!! Ecellent power and feel, with a nice (but not silly) level of bite. Pretty much impossible to beat in my opinion. Stainless braided hose as standard is reassuring too, mine's taken some serious abuse from stacks and bails and the hose is still as good as new! Front rim brakes are good, but personally I think they lack the modulation that decent disc brakes offer. There's also the rain issues with rim brakes, discs aren't affected anywhere near as much as rim brakes when it rains, or you go through a puddle (Y).
