I've been looking ot do something like this for a while now (seriously, this isn't a load of PW (Pete Wright...) as you can ask Steve at Heatsink (was hounding him a while back!) Looking to try building something around; WB: 1050-1060 CS: 370-375 BB: +45 HA: 71-72º Low standover etc... but need someone to build it cheapish for me, or to be able to do it myself... Any offers...?!

Bastards... Meh BRISTOL RIDE ***!
-
Not if you are Pete Wright; Again, if you are Mr Wrong - he ran one in a Pashley years back. Think there was frame bending or something involved, however, I can't say for sure
-
Holy shit...

Darren, Leah seems really sound, say hi from me... Hehe, nah, on a more serious note, Louise (My chick, see Post a pic of your GF...) is completely amazing. She reallises how much riding means to me, and accepts that to the extent of forcing me to ride! She kicked me out of hers to go riding the other day cheeky bugger! She's getting a bit into it too which is good, will get her on my bike sometime, can only be good! However, there's a line and I wouldn't be with her if I thought I was going to reject her for the bike too much, so of course I see her when I can too. It's going really well on every front at the mo, let's hope it stays that way

Do it Biggy; Do it good!
-
Yeah I gathered that from the next post, but couldn't be bothered to reply, it's still weeks off anyway so was effort!
-
No really, where there seems to be a missing pink dot, there is normally a faint green dot moving round in sequence, which makes the whole thing far more impressive...
-
Just got to uni here, as have a few other guys. Keep checking the Rides/Locations section as there's a few bits in there (I see you have posted already) Luke

Doesn't work because that's a fixed image, if you put the animation/link to it then should work (I would find it, but gotta run off to a tutorial now so no time, maybe later...)
-
Yeah no problem mate, I'll speak to housemate and see if he'd mind us leaving bikes in his room for the night to save us some room and an extra flight of stairs too
-
Count me in! Prawn and Kennard, your asses are mine this time boys... But yeah, meeting at Lloyds (now I know where it is for sure...!) sounds good From my one real Bristol ride, I love it, so this will be great! Much loveness, Me xxx

MSNed Anyone else?
-
Hey dude, Literally JUST got in from my first Brizzle ride and loving it already! I'm up for tomorrow, how's 12ish down out the front of Lloyds sound? Can't say I'm a local of course, but someone else to ride with I guess... Boon or Rowan or anyone about maybe? (If Rowan has a working/safe frame that is...!)
-
Had a quick look about but still getting my bearings a little. Lloyds and a load of the awesome spots are just down from my place so that's nice. Built the bike up just now, so [maybe tonight, possibly tomorrow] I'll try and get a ride in I think Can't wait xx
-
What? Even me?! Crazy, that's just asking for trouble... Looks nice mate, new parts should be cool too
-
Erm, so where do you draw the line? At least DOT 3 is remotely close to DOT 4 or so, and so is close enough to what Hope use. Water in a Magura isn't what they say to use... A little hypocritical there Pete don't you think?
-
Who touched my ass?! Meh, do it again...
-
You know that I'm going to recommend the Tioga DH rims, but if not then a set of Rhyno Lites would do the job nicely bud. Oh, and don't worry about the Tiogas being "disc-only" either, it's a load of carp... As for tyres, I'm running those Moto Diggers still and apart from the sidewall being thin like we spoke about they are lovely for street, although if you were going to take it on the natty from time to time (hmm...) then perhaps Tioga or Maxxis would be a better option
-
Sexy Mother Funker! (Oh shit, you don't go for the Yo' Moma jokes do you...) Looking good mate, although I checked out a few spots here in Brizzle today (without bike) and Lloyds etc is pretty damn close to my place! Few weeks and I'll have all the admin stuff here done, so will be riding loads!

4 Bolt Clamps, The Custom Ones
Luke Rainbird replied to Wright Pads's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
Oops, sorry for spouting continuous bullshit and lies... ...oh, hang on, that wasn't me.... Oh, and killed another topic? How have I killed either of the two topics which I think you are on about?! -

What's so different about those than standard or generic CNC'ed 4-bolt mounts? From that shot they just seem to be slightly squared off chunks, not much larger, or "really big" like you described them. Personally I'd go for standard mounts, unless you can get these cheaper maybe? -
Cheeky b*****d! However, whilst Alex is kicking your ass...
-
Not at £250 though, when for the money you could get something new, and/or something nicer Both of the above seem fairly sound, although check pics, and maybe a little less for the limey if you can www.imageshack.us (I think)Upload your picture/s and copy the link it gives you...

Yeah, once again sorry for this taking over the thread, it just seems to me that the topic starter should know what the actual situation was. Pete seems like a fairly sound guy most of the time when I've ridden with him, but online he just seems to be quite different! Maybe it just comes across differently online, a lot of stuff does. Personally, after reading a few sites and checking a few specs/pictures, I'd go for the Heatsink. It may be a lesser used frame from a smaller brand, however from the few times I've talked to Steve about things he seems completely sound, a top bloke, so you shouldn't have any issues with him over anything. I'm sure his service will easily equal that of Onza, or even Tartybikes! If I were you, I'd go for the Heatsink over the T-Rex, unless the styling of the Onza is more to your preferance. Take a look around for some full-built Heatsinks, and you'll see what I mean. Lovely!
