  1. Nasty! How'd you manage that?! Mind you, at least it's nice and easy to replace, just steal someone's cassette for a minute or two... (Leave them with an extra 16t, they'll never notice!)
  2. Nice as always Phil! How's the leg doing? Any idea how long it'll be? Clear to see where you get your style from though watching all the BMX crossover stuff with the BMXers on the same stuff there, makes a nice change from just a bunch of trials riders together, bit of variation as we've kinda come to expect from you really! Shame about that 180 over the rail, would have been pretty damn nice to have nailed! Keep it up dude, and hope it's not too long before you're back on a bike Luke
  3. Right, the night ride on Weds was one of the best rides I've been on! Not for huge stuff, but had an awesome atmosphere, and was a good laugh... Prawn falling over the bench being possibly one of the funniest stacks I think I've ever seen! Darren snapping his chain and SOMEHOW keeping his face in tact Me scaring myself with wrong-foot-drops (bloody feet...) Anyway, Saturday's tomorrow, so come on out people... Hey dude, Didn't see you about in the end, but if you have the bike for tomorrow it would be good to see you about. Unsure as to whether Prawny will be out, as I think he may be heading back up to Pompey, however feel free to grab me/Alex or anyone over MSN and we'll be more than happy to help sort anything out there Anybody else who fancies it is still more than welcome to come along too of course! See you there!
  4. See also: briefly mentioned here Should be in with D as usual, last weekend before Brizzle Need to find somewhere to stick my car though, as I think I'm gonna have to drive in due to work that night. Bastards haven't got the rota right in around 4 weeks now...
  5. Yeah, it's all going a bit worng for them at the minute! Best wishes to the guy and all around him, hope he's back soon
  6. Cool. Well the weather's not looking all that great, but if it holds out then we'll be about somewhere! But Saturday will be good, so if you have the bike sorted by then then come along for sure And next week too, as that'll probably be my last ride before uni...
  7. Sorry, but that's not really a particularly decent attitude to have towards it though is it? You have an avatar saying "Death to chavs", however that sort of approach to stuff is edging on chav itself really... Chill out! It's not like that though, you're being given constructive criticism, nobody's having a go at you! No, you're not the best, nor am I, but you don't need to go around saying one way or the other. If people feel they can help you out, they will post and try and do so. Take it the way it's meant...
  8. Dude chill out a bit. He's giving you pointers for both riding and video making, yet you are going off on one taking it as harsh criticism rather than constructive criticism as it's meant. By getting all worked up about it and starting to get lairy (over the net, obviously a point in that...) then it's just going to spark off rowdiness, so you've gotta calm down or expect it really... Didn't want to get abuse, so I figured I wouldn't have an opinion just in case...
  9. *All of Krisboats' posts @ T-Lite Man* = OWNED
  10. Harsh (and I hope that you were calling the axle a stupid f**k...)
  11. Ok, edited again to keep it up to date: Probably going to get one last ride in while I'm still down here, which means this week some time. Tuesday/Wednesday days and nights I can't do, and Friday's out too as I leave early Saturday, which leaves Thursday night really Would probably head in around 6/7ish, and ride 'til 11 when the train leaves, or later if I drive in Who's around/wants to come for a session? Anybody? hehe Be good to see a few of you out one last time before I head off and forget all about you due to the awesomeness of Bristol and Uni Only joking Al, don't cry... ) First Edit: Ride, Plymouth, Saturday (Tomorrow) Hoping to head in for around 11ish, seems to be about the norm. Alex, Kieran, Darren and myself are all gonna be there, hopefully Nick Wood too (welcome to Plymouth mate!) The more the merrier! Original: Ok, so it's a bit late notice, but still.... Just in case anybody is around and fancies it, we're hoping to get a ride going this evening if it stays dry. Me and Darren will be heading in around 7ish, and probably riding 'til about 11 or so. Nothing too huge, but a good few hours while town's empty. Probably going to do another one next week too, before I head off to uni, so if anybody is up for either, post away and we'll sort something out. Oh yeah, one more thing. I think a load of us should be riding on Saturday too, weather permitting again, so there's another one for you...
  12. The DMR axle IS 36 spline, 19mm (Running two pair of those cranks ), so if you find out (should say on the axle itself for the spline nimber at least) what the other's need, you should be able to sort something out Hope you sort it, hate drivetrain problems!
  13. Dude, get down to Plymouth at some point. There's a few guys at least riding most weekends, and being in Exeter you have no excuse!
  14. Not sure about EVERYONE, but me (and I would imagine most freshers) start in about 2 weeksish (1st/2nd Oct), however, had I been there, quite possibly have gone!
  15. Liking that Looks pretty nice and "clean", nothing too fancy
  16. Well.... Had to bloody work again. They've buggered up nearly all my shifts this summer, and I would have quit long ago had it not been for the facts that I finish there this week to go to uni, and that it is so close I just roll out of bed in the morning to get there Anybody get any pictures from rounds 1,2,4&5? Wanna see what I've been missing!
  17. Find it? Would have replied but didn't get online 'til this afternoon Not so useful...
  18. Yes, but once it's joined once that's it, in exactly the same way that you can remove it with no tools, you can put it on with none. You will need to join it once when you first put an old chain to that frame, for example, but in the same way you need to split it if you were to switch frames
  19. Yes, but once it's joined, you can take it on and off without tools with little effort really, and with a few chains having split-links (some even with ones that work...) there's no joining necessary either
  20. Bugger, just finished work... May try and get in for a bit, although weather looks a little screwed, so perhaps a ride here is in order instead... (Been trying to sort out my dodgy footwork )
  21. Why would you need a tool to fit the chain? And I believe the second was a different concept altogether, rather than a progression of the lowered-stays model, if I remember correctly...
  22. Ok Pete calm down... From first looks at them (over the net, not in reality of course) they seem like pretty tidy bikes for the cash, so we'll see...
  23. Yeah, but there's so many freshers, we should semi-sort out a trials riders drinking session at some point. Although it's probably better to get up there, and sort it out once we know a bit more. Organise it for the second/third night or something
