A lot of people go for around the 90A mark, however I'd be tempted to go a little lower as I 'think' that is when using a grind... Somewhere around the 70A mark would probably be rather nice I reckon, see if you can get hold of a few offcuts of different durometers to play around, and when you find one you like, buy a load...

Are they the right length for your new rim/hub/whatever? Need to be close enough else tensions will be out and it will be a bit screwed...

At present that's standing about 970mm, as opposed to 1040 Add another 70mm or so to the BB-front axle measurement (bit longer TT or whatever) to get somewhere in the region of 1040mm BikeCad is handy for finding things like that... Other than that, perhaps slacken off the head angle by a degree or so too, as 73* on a 26" is possibly a little steep. Personal preference of course, but maybe worth considering Keep us posted though...

24:18 for me Was running 24:16 for a while (effectively a mod ratio) but dropped it a little some time ago now for more control
