  4. i use a 120mm x 30' stem.its a beast.makes your bike super flicky on natural and even gets you bunny hopping and manuelling again.high rise *** craig
  5. i think you have to load yourself with energy before you ride,i'm not talking "bloat yourself with food" though.have a sarnie and a choccy bar.i have maybe a normal bowl of cereal and a protein bar beforehand thats packed with creatine too.during a ride i'll drink upto 3 litres of water/juice/suger preferably all 3 mixed up then i'll have another protein bar.the bars help you recover fast and speeds your muscles warming up when you've sat still for a bit.the diet plays a big part before, during and after. the rest is down to confidence.i don't ride big things or tech lines but i try to really commit to them and not give up on them.sometimes this doesn't work because i'm hurt or the line i try may just be out of my skill level.my confidence is well half hearted but i've had a lot of really good advice and help lately which is slowly turning that round. its a really big mind game in your head i think.if you put your mind to something its possible. hope any of this helps craig
  6. its the 'tartybikesstanshaw' video from last summer.if anyone has a link to it that would be super!he was riding a toxsin and the tune thats on is an incubus song(cheers adam, lol) craig
  7. i'm with wayne on that one.he's been around loads more than alot of the riders on here.everyone gets what they want from trials, whether it be a comp result or getting an extra inch on a sidehop.trials in the uk boomed a while back and was really accepted by people.now it doesn't seem as big.everyone wants it to be moving ahead more but nobody moves in the same direction.maybe this is the problem.obviously some people want it to be noticed and some don't.i don't think that the people who want to keep it small are not good ambassadors for the sport at all but they'll be the first to complain when they get good and aren't noticed by anyone. yeah, sure i may upset people with this post but hey its my opinion. oh and flange calling wayne wankio....thats one of the reasons why the forum get slated by so many.lets not be childish and respect people who have done this for a long time. craig
  8. has the geo stayed the same on the new limey? i know it aint in this topic but ye better be riding morcambe danny b,lol only joking craig
  9. space for a couple of geordies??
  10. wet weather is good to ride natty in because when it comes riding dry stuff you have loads of confidence,so street in the dry is a laugh and you can really push things craig ps....i ride locally which is on rocks which are covered by high tide so when i do ride them theyre pretty soggy so i vote for natty in the wet,lol
  11. ok....really good vid that especially the fight club bit 10 second in(edward norton holding a fight club bar of soap!!) craig or even 30 odd seconds in when one of their shadow goes backwards on the other wall craig edit...he already said about the shadow lol

  14. im sure that roofing tar and road tar are different things.road tar is soft all the time and soooo sticky and roofing tar is really firm an you can use it like a pencil on you rims.i used road tar once and it locked the brakes on!! craig

  16. hey guys, does anyone know the thread pitch and thread diameter of the hope proII bolts?the ones that are are on my hope are a bit worn where the allen key goes so im after some socket headed bolts to replace them. cheers guys craig
  17. surprise surprise another bitchy thread .at least its staying in one place.denny may not be great but he is doing his thing and isnt that we all do.its not about who got on what show or what bike he rides.put me on an apollo an i'll try my best to make it dance because i enjoy trials riding just as much as the next guy. being picked for a show like that isnt just about how good you ride but the attitude towards other people/riders and how they portray themselves within the sport.the riding helps a tad though!! i think there is nothing wrong with his riding, the bike he rides or the guy himself.
  18. id make sure that your foot is on engagement point rather than jabbing nothing then engaging.really chuck your weight forwards that helps loads if you really give it some pasty.try starting bad foot forward too. craig
