  1. As normal, some awesome riding and really nicely put together. Seem to be getting on with the new bike really well
  2. Should i feel left out?
  3. Which Viz! Rim are you running? If it's the square hole one, my 26" version was awful too, changed to a Tryall hole rim and it's a million times better, i imagine the 20" version is just as good.
  4. Hahah yeah i know who you are lol my bike isn't quite that light!
  5. Myself, josh and joe might be about riding some rocks on sunday if the weather holds out.
  6. I've never liked the feel of the sports, always found them a lil weird feeling. Dont think you'll got too far wrong with either bar you're choosing from
  7. I found TT high rise bars on my stock, when rolled forwards to a comfy position put you too far forwards and stretched you out. Swtiched to TryAll carbons and they were lovely. I imagine either the TryAlls or the Rockmans would feel a lot better. Just get which one's fit your bike colourwise?
  8. I want to come down, ride, drink beer and laugh at your gay poses soon please. Sweet vid, the panning shots at the beach were really nicely done
  9. The southwest scene is pretty damn good though mate
  10. It's what you make it, i have a damn good time riding. Most of my mates now come from riding and i socialise with a lot of them off the bike. Far from dead.
  11. And if weight is an issue, get the drill out or ride a proper bouncy trials bike
  12. Myself and Luke rainbird picked up a new set of spank wins for 18 quid posted. Seen pretty good from all the feedback I've seen on them.

    Nick Cooke

Saw this on FB earlier, shred! The lad does have some skills
  14. Might be about mate, although if he weather is good i'll probs ride yonder rocks on hills.
  15. Monster, prefer his riding to TRA's; seems slightly more controlled?
  16. They really do help though as it removes the flex you get in the vee bosses, increases hold a lot! Lovely looking machine
  17. The RQ you're talking about isn't the one that everyone is referring to unless you've found somewhere that sells the £45 version for £17?!
  18. Personally i found the RQ a bit tyre roll and puncture happy, grip was fairly good. But it is no where near as good as the TryAll Sticky Lite i'm not running, much better feel, awesome grip, fairly light and nice controllable bounce. I'd certainly pay the extra for it.
  19. Because he's switching to front freewheel, which middleburns don't fit. The warranty on trials stuff generally isn't worth the paper it's written on, so if you can get a second hand part that's in good condition you aren't really going to miss out.
  20. 4 bolts forks do have a habit of snapping due to the stress risers the mounts create, trialtech forks seem about the best or the new TryAll forks if you are looking to save a bit of weight. ISIS= International Splined Interface Standard so i'm guessing there shouldn't be any reason why they wouldn't fit.
  21. Surely wip can make you a set without having a set to copy? I remember giving you the thread pitch and size in your other topic, so they'd be the same as any other canti stud just with the imperial threaded section to go in the frame instead of the metric normal ones.
  22. It's a pretty hard job to make it look a mess! Unless you're completely cack handed with a drill.... As long as the mount hole is completely raped you should be able to helicoil it back to its original size and not go up one. Take it to a local engineering firm to see if they'll do it?
  23. Pretty steely lovelyness, makes me went to spend lots of monies.....
  24. Got to agree with Canardweb (can't say that too often) a higher stem and a set of regular trialtech/TryAll bars will feel much nicer. It'll light the front up to a nicer position, where as I found using the TT high rise bars to get them in a nice position you had to roll them forwards which negated most of the rise and just put your weight further forwards. Looks tidy though, really clean simple frames
