That's short, low and steep, front wheel move machine? Different direction to the norm. Always liked the look of Ozonys frames though

Get those TryAlls on there, I've loved mine since I've got it, very impressed. Excellent grip, good puncture resistance, pretty bouncy and reasonable weight.

Consider yourself bookmarked

You should be able to get one finger braking with the Tektro lever, but there is certainly no harm in getting a SD7; i find them a nicer shape then most levers and the SD adjustment is handy for dialing in lever feel/ power.
-
There is you move the calliper so the disc is nice and close to the rotor without rubbing on the moving pad (outboard) side, then wind the fixed pad closer to the rotor to match. Sorted.
-
Sorry forgot it was on the inboard pad that you have an adjuster. If you're getting excessive lever travel then either the cable is stretching like a rubber band or the pads aren't set close enough to the rotor. Should really have the arm at rest.
-
Are you using a new inner cable, if i'm installing a new brake set up i'll use a new inner, only a few quid. If so it must be your set up, adjust the speed dial adjustment on the lever right out to give the most solid lever feel. Set the calliper so the fixed pad is as close to the rotor with out hit rubbing excessively/ at all (ensuring the rotor and pad are parallel. Set the cable up as you have been, the calliper arm full extended with the cable tight. Using the pad adjuster on the calliper set the moving pad as close to the disc as is possible without it rubbing. Once set any fine adjustments can be made at the lever using the barrel adjuster and set the speed dial on the lever to suit. If it's still not working then i'm not sure what could be wrong.

If you could let us know the exact magura brake you've got, if not get a pic up to help us identify it. Pretty sure that magura's have a standard bleed kit and all use magura blood, the simplest solution would be to take it to a bike shop to get them to do it for you. If you feel confident enough you could get a magura disc bleed kitand do it yourself, it's pretty easy with a magura.

Try something a little higher, seems strange but will make like a bit easier. Throw a pallet or two on top of that sloped wall and give it a go.

Awesome riding! Big stuff I would say it's a 2011 echo pure sprayed black. Check the bike shot at 1:48ish bb yoke and dropouts give it away.
-
Because its so bloody far away!
-
really good stuff, enjoyed that a lot!

Your seatpost is the wrong way round.

That first line at mini Lloyd's was sweet, good stuff
-
It's not just the offset with burns, you'd have issues with the BB not giving any space for a front freewheel. HT2 is quite wide, pressfit BB like the echo kit, but to one of the MTB standards would be better, no clearance issues, bigger and stronger bearings; win!

This is very very true :)Think you have more pressing requirements than a bash guard at the mo. Certainly is a very smart looking bit of kit.
-
Not bad considering the amount of work that's gone into them. But i don't think i'd fork out that much for a bash.

Well this summer is getting better and better

Did you follow the vote at all? The have system was requested by the Liberals as a caveat of entering a coalition with the Tories to form a government. The Liberals wanted it, the Tories didn't. The vote was cast and as a public we voted no, so we won't get it....
-
Personally I wouldn't, can see running it without a booster for any period of time could cause cracks. Booster will increase hold, may decrease bite and noise.

For what type of brake?!

As far as I understood they weren't looking to privatise the NHS, a proposed reform was to allow private companies to tender to run a hospital for a fixed period of time, at which point the contract would be reviewed. Thus allowing competition to come into the organisation and potentially improving standards. There isn't much of an issue to this as it stands, still tax payer funded, still free health care; however how it is implemented, monitored and regulated would have a huge impact on whether it was successful or not. The NHS currently is awful, there are huge amounts of wastage both financially and resources wise. I was reading a report on prescriptions from pharmacies; standard prescription which costs you £7.20 for say anti-biotics which could cost say £40 depending on brand, but due to the pharmacies affiliations/ kickbacks/ commissions from certain pharmaceutical companies a certain brand is chosen, put through as the prescription and what should have been a £40 charge to the NHS is considerably more. It was silly things like saline, due to contracts that already exist the NHS is getting charge horrific amounts for money for what is saline distilled water... Personally I think wastage like this and bureaucracy in the organisation are big issues that need tackling rather than radical reform. However unless you've been reading the Mirror or some other Labour affiliated tabloid no one has said the government is going to privatise the whole NHS....

Magura Hs33 Problem...help Please!
craigjames replied to kaybs41282's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
It's thinner than Magura blood/mineral oil so gives a lighter lever feel and a more responsive brake. -
Ran a Ronnie and a DX32 for a fair while, both were excellent in terms of braking performance, held a nice sharp grind for longer than anything else and were pretty damn strong! The Ronnie had a slightly deeper braking surface and was drilled, but was a little more prone to denting. Probably the only negative. The DX32 is slightly heavier, but drill it with 20mm holes and even single wall it if you fancy and you'll be sorted. You get the odd NOS dx32 on ebay every now and again so have a look.
