  1. Sorry my bad totally forgot you were running 3 piece cranks.
  2. Nooooo, what BB is it? I'm guessing it's in your Limey3? What side if sticking out more? If it's the non-drive side its because you have a 73mm wide BB in a 68mm shell, so you need to take out the BB and fit a 2.5 mm spacer between the BB and the frame to even things out.
  3. Yeah might be about, depends on the work load/ me being arsed
  4. There are quite a few threads on various forums asking exactly this question. They aren't really available new as Cannondale went bust a while back and changed hands etc. It's more a case of tracking a local shop down that's been a Dale dealer for a while and see if they have any floating around. Check ebay and some of the old school ride forums.
  5. Lil bit of digging gave me a thread size of 5/16" x 18 TPI, bloody yanks!
  6. How much is a Mk2 Ford Escort worth? Might need a little more information/pics on it than that, is it all working? How much pad like is left? What condition is it in? Does it come with rotor and bolts? Front or rear? Help us to help you!
  7. The 3D is 127X27 so it's long but higher than the trialtech you have on yours, it's what i have on my Hydroxx. I ran mine with a Try-all NUC 125x 25 stem and some risers. The Onza bars have very little in the way of back and up sweep, just makes them feel a little meh compared to most modern trials bars.
  8. That was pretty impressive I'd almost forgot what it was like to go for a ride after a night out, nice to meet some new faces.
  9. Mine came in, i think a Cotic box. Can't find the name of the person i got it from on ebay. But his ebay name was something to do with one of the UK hardtail brands.

  10. I tried to run the 2.3 bonty tyre i've got on the front, on a fairly wide rim and it was having none of it, wouldn't fit in the frame!
  11. The only issue i've found with mine is that tyre clearance is fairly tight on the CS/BB area.
  12. That's the same frame as i've got I've just dropped my 36's by 20mm as the front end was just wheely happy when going up any sort of incline. Awesomely fun bike, my ass is not appreciating the bruises it's getting compared to the soft ride it had on my previous full sus bikes!
  13. NO. You don't need a 4-6 piston brake on a trials bike, let alone a mod. Mono trials can be a little temperamental, really sensitive to bleed and set up. So if not perfect they can feel poo. Get it bled really well, spend some decent time making sure everything is square and spaced out correctly. It won't help that you've got that +20 adaptor on there. If it still feels squishy and poo it may need new seals all round.

Well that lil pompey video shows you've improved a lot since the last time I saw you ride in Bristol 3-4 months back. Think you would benefit from trying to find your rear wheel balance on the flat. Try and improve it to the point you can hop on one spot, takes a bit of strength and co-ordination and a lot of practice but you'll get there. Can start by endoing and rocking onto the rear wheel and hopping, then build in a pedal kick and then just build it up. Just takes practice and perseverance. Might want to practice on some flat grass and you may end on your ass a few times!
  15. I guess it's exactly that, your synapses all fire when they're supposed to and it all works. It's like learning maths, you can understand the principle behind something, but at a certain point the process and reasoning behind falls into place and you understand the whole thing. It's generalising it I know, but I'm sure it applies. Fit's in my head
  16. But that wouldn't apply to a gap to front. Sudden braking doesn't induce that level of heat and not to a big enough part of the disc.
  17. Guess it's to do with muscle memory, anything that you don't do for a while takes a little practice to get back to the standard you were. You literally have to teach your muscles what they have to do, which ones to contract, when and to what extent. Although it may seem a simple process when you break it down it's far from it; and it take's place in a very short space of time. I guess unless you practice to the extent all the techniques become second nature, like walking (which after spending 8 weeks in a cast i had to sort of relearn); then you will always have this period of relearning.
  18. It's not something daft like the forks/wheel twisting with the extra amount of force the bigger rotor is applying? Seems a little weird!
  19. If you didn't take any information from him then you personally can't do anything; it may be worth informing the police incase he's a scammer and tries to claim damages from your gf's insurance company. I'd also inform the insurance company just to give them the heads up.
  20. Mine have got the point where it's scars on scars and it doesn't heal properly. Not fun, got a proper lumpy shin from it all too!
  21. It's right next to the industrial Museum, along the train tracks from Cumberland basin and across the bridge from the waterfront. NCP I think.
  22. Ali and Rowan. Love watching Rowan ride, does everything so smoothly and controlled you forget how big some of it is. Wouldn't say Carthy is smooth, big powerful rider, seems quite controlled; but not smooth like Rowan or Ali C.
  23. Why not just order the correct bar clamp for your lever?!
