Stem on the Ashton looks waaaay low. Get it up! Leeson looks awesome.

Sort it out man, for Gods sake. Take a minute or two, you're barely legible.

I've had some awesome questions. Some dude was standing behind me and said ''i can see that you're not running any gears so why do you have a derailleur''. One french lady was amazed by what i was doing and said it was beautiful she said, ''you don't just fall (i was doing a drop) you do everything with control'' - she was lovely and genuinly impressed. These two middle aged women in Nottingham stopped to watch once and after a while asked if i would take part in a display for the opening of the new market square. They were from the council and asked for my phone number and to get other riders along. Onw two occassions young kids (8-11) have come up to me offering me money after either filming me or just watching...bit strange that one. You're always going to get the seat thing, well im not now ive got an Inspired. If you are nice to people they are usually nice back. The times people are dicks are just as much fun!!

Looks good, apart form the stem and handlebars...in my opinion they look dirty (not in a good way). BUt overall tis nice - mine is still sitting in bits until i can get hold of the last parts, i've gone for the exact same rim/tyre combo as you, looks good on the fully made bike. Yeah, yeah Inspireds are so passe, lets break the mould and get a Deng instead. Enjoy.

What he said...its the first thing that cae to mind reading your message. Some times a 1inch star nut is good for say echo or zoo forks with the thick steerer, but for the Onza's it sounds like you just have the wrong size. Whack it out pronto and get a big one in!

I said the Zoot was the WORST LOOKING, i dont give a f**k how it rides, because to me it looks like a pile of poo - just my opinion, but i hate its aesthetics thats why i wouldnt own one and have chosen an Inspired over it, not because it has a seat, because it looks awesome. Also man.....i'm buff so no wprries about the weight, if i can bunnyhop my 40lb Kona high enough, i dont think a little old Zoot will be too much trouble. Don;t be so defensive over your ride, atleast you like the way it looks, i dont...who cares? You carry on enjoying it and i'l stay away from it. Also, the 24uk is growing on me, but the front cable guides are silly! Looking forward to seeing it messed up!

Wasn't it the 24UK?

Have a look at the 24seven slacker. You can get a complete bike for £499 now and thats the new 2008 model. I built my girlfriend up an old 24seven Martin ogden frame i had which i use which is lovely then theres the Substance and the Deviant, all cool bikes from a good company. Worth a look. Edit: Just looked in to it a bit more and you can buy the Substance frame for £179.99 in a choice of colours and its designed to run both 26'' and 24'' wheels. Looks lovely, i'm interested myself!!!!

Yeah i know what you mean. Your old one there doesn't look too bad at all, they're just not for me and on the whole i don't like Onza (i have owned one previously). The way they deal with their business seems unprofessional but you are right the Zoot does not have to look as bad as it does out of the box.... Having said all that, your riding an Inspired these days.....?
-
I don't know why they're cheap as shit, you'd have to ask Onza. Advise/steal its all kind of similar. I just don't like them at all - its just my opinion, if you're making a streety 24'' flicky type of bike ,why make it look like a small t-rex? Anyway theres a reaosn theres not loads of them around and yet Inspired's are flying off the shelves, but as you said its not about the Zoot...back to the 24UK...
-
Almost the same, and Onza did come up with the geomotry first............oh wait? Surely Onza wouldn't rip off another idea and put it out to production? That doesnt sound like something Onza would do?
-
Davetrials said that this bike is the worst 24'' ever ,i said that was bullshit and that the worst looking 24 is an Onza Zoot, as it is as ugly and as cheap as shit!! Thats why.
-
Well thats bullshit, the Onza Zoot is obviously the worst 24''. The heatsink isn't terrible, just looking at it again it looks really messy...i don't mean the build, but the frame, its not tidy at all. But at least its sparking opinions both positive and negative, better than some boring silver schlong.
-
I loved the look of them when i saw the pcitures of the frames a few days ago, and red was defenetly my favourite colour. I have just purchased an Inspired and with the release of the Heatsink it actualy made me a little unsure. BUt now i've seen one built up and can see the frame in conjunction with all the parts on it, i don't like it. It looks unneceserrily overbuilt, really fat and chunky and although the gussets are for a good reason i think it all looks a little untidy. All in all i'm dissapointed by how it looks as a full bike...but really what the hell does that matter....? As long as it rides well thats all thats really important, but on aesthetics only i'm very glad i went the Inspired for me....i'm sure you'll love it and make good use of it so enjoy!!! I look forward to seeing some videos on it.
-
Can't believe you used John Fogerty....made me laugh and made the vid even more enjoyable. Better than some over pretencious emo bullshit. Fun to watch and well done on going for such a bright bike! You have a very relaxed (almost lazy) style, never looks like you're going to get up anything ,then it just plops up....very strange! Cool vid.

Beautiful, riding the way i like. To me and my personal preference that is how i like to see trials ridden, really great stuff. Makes me even more excited for the arrival of my bike at the beginning of next month. Lots of good riding seems to come out of Glasgow....Scotland knows where its at.
-
That sounds promising. I think i could quite happily gain 120 grams(ish) to sacrifice the flexy feeling of the Urbans, i'll never forget how dissapointed i felt when changing from Koxx Forks to Urbans, the flex felt so horrible....looks like Zoos may be the way forward! Thanks a lot.
-
Don't want a curved fork...purely for aesthetic reasons thats why is between the Urbans and Zoos. I hear the controls are even flexier than the urbans? so thats no good if true! So the Zoos are noticably heavy in comparison to urbans?
-
Hi, i currently have on order a nice Inspired frame for which i'm deciding on forks for.... I had decided on Echo Urbans as i had them on my last bike, but being out of stock on tarty's in the combo i want i thought i'd have a look at others. I lke the looks of the Zoo forks, after seeing Danny Mac running them yesterday at the Outdoor show, they seemed to suit the Inspired very well, but having not used them before i wonder if they might be heavy and a bit short? I am not overly impressed with Urbans as i find them very flexy so i was wondering if anyone would recommend the £15 upgrade to the Zoo forks...? So anyone who has experience with both or either please give your opinions as its a while to the frame arrives and i'd like to make my mind up soon! Cheers.

Absolute favourite for getting through Uni days.... double espresso with one sugar made from Kimbo coffee (very important) which i get imported from Naples. Is good stuff! If you're feeling a bit fancy i like to make a cappucino by using a double espresso, frothed milk with a shot of Amaretto and then a good dusting of cocoa. i know where its at with coffee.. Can't start the morning without a greentea. nice to end with a Peppermint tea also. theres an insight in to my hot drinking habits. Exciting stuff.
-
Cummon..... there not bad, i've done both easily. You only get thrown off the ampitheatre if you ride infront of the security desk and Notts town centre is ok. Just got to know when to do it! Go for it. I know i will when my bike eventually arrives.
-
Bollocks! Isn't poiniant at all. I'm passionate about sound and i feel duped. Poor attempt at shock/sympathy techniques.
-
The length of that frame mixed with the stem you've got on there does not look friendly at all. I imagine once on the back wheel its great, but a bunny hop must by back breaking. I din't think i'd enjoy riding it looking at it, but then TGS aint my style. Looks nice enough though!

Yeah yeah i know what you mean, i'm not bad mouthing the Mars Volta in the slightest i love them to bits. The new album is very seperate in terms of tracks but is again about one ongoing story. And yeah i know they came up with the track names, but that was as a result of Universal records telling them that they were singed to a minimum of a ''3 album deal'' and if they released 'Frances the Mute' as 5 seperate tracks like they wanted to that it would only count as an EP. Therefore ''Cygnus...Vismund Cygnus'' was broken down into 4 parts, ''Miranda that Ghost isn't Holy Anymore'' was broken down into 4 seperate sections given a different name by the band, and ''Cassandra Geminni'' being broken down into 5 sections. This then gave Universal an album which had 15 tracks therefore classing it as an album. That was all i meant, the mars Volta have total control over their music they just had to make theoretical tracks for it to class an an album so they could release their 3 album quoto. Interesting they left Universal after the 3 albums............. I think every Mars Volta album will be about one singular story.... its how they work.

Yeah i know what you mean its always the way...when an album encompasses more traditional, very sepeare songs it is more easily digested ,ana lbum that flows as one continual piece of music with lots of instrumentals is harder for the brain to process. But this is only so if you try and process it as a traditional album...if you allow yourself to see and hear it as a single piece of music then there are no distinctions. An album like 'In Rainbows' whilst having a very continual feel is very much an album made of sperate songs with clear starts and ends. The same can be said for the mars Volta, their newest album is easier to get into like their first as it has a bunch of seperate songs which are easily defined. There 2 albums in the middle were much harder for people to understajd and take in and they couldn;t comprahend them, but they were just singular pieces of music with the defenitions of track names being put in by the juristiction of a record company needing to make a piece of music a means of seeling therefore calling it an ''album'' with atleast 10 individual songs. In reality there was only 2 real seperations of music on the album, but if you have to segregate things to sell, then its a shame but its only a name.... Basicaly....what i'm saying is In rainbows is quite easy to take on board due to its distinctions...but this does not detract from it being a brilliant piece of music in any way.
