Pretty boring night in the lcal club. Perfected the art of mine sweeping though, only two death threats, all is good.

Powerizer stilts, they are stupidly dangerous. Fallen off them three times already... And a siamese Rubiks cube, it's rather hard.

£99 for the phone, £35 a month for 600 minutes, 500 texts and unlimited data/ wifi hotspot access. So £730 total over the 18 months, or £486 a year. All the contracts seem pretty poor for texts, even the £75 has only 500, guess they want you to pay the extra £7.50 a month for the unlimited text bolt on.

Hmm I was going to buy an 8gb iPhone on the o2 in the next week or two, reckon it'd be better to wait until it comes out on Orange then the prices will come crashing down? It doesn't really seem too expensive on the £35 contract but I guess it'd be nice to pay less...

From what i've seen i'd disagree, looking at getting a new phone at the moment to replace my SPV and iPhone contracts look pretty similar to other phone's contracts in terms of minutes/ texts, plus you get unlimited edge + wifi which is well brown. So yeah, I haven't yet seen a real disadvantage to them?

There seems to be loads of scammers saying they're from germany recently with private feedback, one bought a camera on buy it now off me so i just relisted the item and did a non paying buyer thing against them.

It's now been over a year since the Wiki was started, and despite a promising start it has had little use in the last 6 months or more, for example there have been 8 edits in the past month. So if you've never clicked on that wiki button at the top or have just forgotten about it, get in there and get sharing your knowledge. We have about 330 pages at the moment, and there's some great info in there, but i'm sure that number can be dramatically increased. A lot of pages are pretty short and need more adding to them too. Don't worry if you don't know all the wiki formatting/ code either, just put your info in and i'll sort it out. What are you waiting for... Free Pronz

It's amazingly oversaturated? I highly doubt you'd be able to compete, especially seeing as there are already a myriad of sites with just referal links on them (Not that i'd know ) and a video site would have huge bandwith costs. Unless you can find a new niche like dog on cuddly toy or something you're unlikely to make any money, and waste a shed load of time in which you could be washing dishes at the local pub for £5 an hour...

Even if that was true I believe they make them themselves with help from some forum users, and there's a whole world of hurt with bugs etc. The bmx forum skin is really cool though, would like to be able to choose that one.

A photography subforum would be good though as the topic is already like a mini forum, just incredibly unorganised due to being in one big topic. There's a lot of great information in there, it's just really hard to find. It would mean much less repetition of the simple questions too. Yes there are some other big topics but none of them really need a subforum, car questions are generally quite specific "What do I need to put a turbo on my Scirroco" etc, these can be answered quickly in the thread and are unlikely to be of much use to other users or need no comment other than "Nice car". With photography however most of the questions are reccuring "What kit do I need for a remote flash setup" "Is the 50mm 1.8 a good lens" etc and a clear structured layout would be beneficial for new users, as they can find basic information quickly, and experienced users, so they don't have to read the same question 10 times over. I say yes to the photography subforum...

I've got a load of helis, used to be sponsored but haven't flown them for about 2 years lol... Thunder tiger Raptor 30s and Hirobo Sceadu 30s are pretty good beginner choices, about as cheap as you can get and very good helicopters, you can upgrade them to a .50 size engine too and they'll be capable of all the aerobatics you want. Electric helicopters have also come a long way now too, i don't trust them though... They aren't toooo hard to fly, most young people used to video games etc usually pick it up quickly. It is a very expensive hobby though, be warned...

What would the other groups be? Hardly need another wiki mod, it barely gets used... I think wiki mods deserve extra powers, like modship in nmc or something

Was ok, pretty drunk so wasn't entirely in control... Told a girl I was gay afterwards once, she was somewhat pissed off. Especially when she told her mates and she now has the piss ripped out of her to this day for losing her virginity to a fag lololol. Oh, and she is a student at the youth theatre school I teach at

It's a great film. The original musical is even better, but they've done a great job of condensing it into the movie imo. They could have got rid of the songs, but the whole idea was for it to be a film version of Sondheim's musical...

And even with friction, the wheels are only going to be turning twice as fast as normal. (Plane's takeoff speed = X, speed of conveyer is -X, Speed of wheels = 2X), and I reckon most plane wheels are capable of turning at least twice the takeoff speed. Also as the speed increases, the plane generates more lift, meaning the wheels have less weight resting on them, thus less friction.
-
No conveyor could physically stop a plane from moving forward no matter how fast the conveyor is? The friction arguement is rubbish, the plane I fly can take off at about 50mph at a push, and can be landed relativley safely at over 100mph, i've seen it done. And this is on a windless day, so the indicated air speeds are roughly the same as the ground speeds. The wheels don't lock up or anything. Plane wheels are very tough things. No conveyor could actually match the speed of the wheels of a vehicle that is moving forward. Like Tomm said, you can always push a toy car forward on a conveyor and the wheel speeds will not be equal to the conveyor. The question is flawed.
-
The plane is not driven by the wheels. Stand on a skateboard on a treadmill with a large fan on your back and you're going to go forwards whatever speed the treadmill is going. It will take off.

There have been 11 edits in the past 30 days, it's not exactly growing fast... At least the information on there is still being found useful by some people, which afterall is what it's about

A wiki mod is someone who has extra powers on the wiki, and takes a moderation role there only. Too bad noone ever uses the wiki now the novelty has worn off... And blacklisted traders can't post in the classifieds section.
