:D Will edit when i stop smiling edit: Unfortunately Top Gear is very misleading at times, what Tom_ has written was said in the show but that's not true. What they did to get that number was divide the total project cost by the number of sold cars at that time (which was about 100). So when they've reached the 300 limit, they will probably have made a profit. In terms of performance, the SSC has the world record for top speed and world record for handling, beating the Ferrari Enzo around some track they use to test these things officially. So in terms of performance, the Veyron isn't the best. It's quite impressive considering how luxurious it is though.

It looks really good Not sure about this whole frame modding craze though, lots of people are doing it now = we'll hear of many frames snapping in about 2 months time?
-
It's a bit silly that, but it doesn't surprise me in the least. Most manufacturers will void the warranty if you tell them you took part in a competition - even though "new school" street use is much harder on bicycle parts than comps or natty. We've got a very good situation with Deng giving proper warranty for his parts, unfortunately this is usually not the case with other manufacturers I don't think there's anything you can do about this mate, sorry. Edit: besides, if you broke 5 levers in 12 months this is definitely not due to any manufacturing defects.

Amazingly powerful. Like Chimpy said, give him a stock. I wonder how many more unknown riders like this guy there are around the world?

Word, it gets sticky and turns into a goo. Awful stuff.

Thanks a lot for the comments guys, they give me more motivation to ride Why not lol, at least I'd have somebody to ride with There are serious problems with the popularity of trials over here. 700k city nearby and ~2 riders. It's 25 interlaced fps turned into 50 progressive fps. Every video camera will record such smooth motion if you export the video to 50 deinterlaced fps or 25 interlaced frames (not recommended). Dimitri from Moscow, he's the founder of Triton. His username is Gazza but I think he's still traveling around Europe so you might not be able to catch him. I presume his business is still running? With the dollar being so low these frames are now really cheap. Yeah Rob, good to hear from you man:) Been ages since we last rode together, shame you're not riding any more. What's up with Chris and Aaron?

It's not anodized. Normal paint remover will get it off really easily. I accidentally spilled some on my old frame which was an A1 and the paint came right off.

Note: Heatsink CNC pads do not fit into Echo CNC brake systems. Steve has changed something in the design of his backings, none of the CNC pads I have in stock fit. The pair I have on my bike fits perfectly but those backings are about 2 years old. Deng has revised the Echo brake and says the leaking problems are sorted once and for all. Also as you may have noticed, the new brakes look a bit different.

That's beautiful :$

Nice riding there Adam, getting quite good at those wheelswaps Music was an unusual choice but went well with the video. Nice one

Many of his feats may be staged but as far as psychology goes, many have a logical explanation. If you search youtube you'll find some videos explaining his "mind control" tricks. The thing you need to take into account when watching these is that he will perform tricks on people he thinks are prone to suggestions. It they weren't, he wouldn't accomplish much.

As usual at this time of year, a pallets mess about vid from me. Trials-Forum Video ->Full View • Download • Upload And here's the last one from 2007: Trials-Forum Video ->Full View • Download • Upload Enjoy

Natural is as fun to ride as it is boring to watch. Great riding but the video was a bit... unexciting - as is the case with most natty ones.
-
Just downloading a vid of this, will upload to TF when I get the chance.

Used a file and a hacksaw. Holes are 30mm wide and 25mm long. The rim is a BT (same as TryAll but eyeleted). It saved about 75g on the rear rim. This will weaken your rims a lot. But if you're a smooth rider it doesn't matter.

Much better than the original, I like it a lot. Good work If you come up with anything else, post it in here as well. This is the kind of stuff I'd like to see Mike (The Scientist) do. edit: whack it on youtube when you're finished with it, see how popular it gets.

I always thought BIU sections were much more difficult than UCI to account for the different rules. These sections looked easy... Thomas Ohler once did a BIU parody in TRA's Austria vid where he rode a very easy section consisting of pallets and landed on his bashguard wherever it was possible. That's what this comp looked like.

Not bad at all for just a few months of riding trials. Keep it up
-
Trying to decide whether I like it or not. I think the amount of spacers under the stem spoil the looks a bit but then they're probably necessary to keep that streety feel this frame apparently has.

Apparently you can't access uploaded images if you haven't got an account. So I guess many people just sign up to be able to view the forum normally, with no intention to post?

I'm going to eat some titanium holes tomorrow, they should make me lighter right? edit: Bongo, that's harsh is she ok now?

Have you ever actually used an HD camera? HD footage takes up the same amount of space as DV footage. Editing times I agree with, they're unbearable unless you have a quad core Intel which copes rather well. However, even if you export a HD footage to 720x480, the quality will be miles better than any standard definition camera. I'll give you an example, top vid is shot with a consumer HD camera, the bottom one is shot with a consumer SD camera. Still think there's no difference at all? Trials-Forum Video ->Full View • Download • Upload Trials-Forum Video ->Full View • Download • Upload edit: just read this topic, seems like these vids have already been discussed. My camera is a Canon HV20, it's getting pretty cheap now. TRA uses the same one but somehow his vids look much better. Maybe it's the Norwegian air. I'm not sure I'd recommend the HV20 over a Sony HC7 due to how it handles extreme lighting conditions but it's a very good little camera indeed. The VX2100 mentioned above is in a different league really. Even though it's standard definition, it will give much better colour reproduction and handle exposure better than most consumer hi def cameras. So if you're looking for the "pro video" look, the VX2100 will be the better choice even though you can get a pretty good hi def for that price. If you want to edit HD on a laptop you need a pretty powerful setup. A 2,4ghz C2D and 4gb of RAM will handle the process of editing very well and render around 280 frames per minute of HD (compressed to deinterlaced CBR 1280x720 WMV with 100% image quality setting in Premiere and 3.5mbps video data rate). In other words, that's about 35mb for each minute of video in high quality and with 50 frames per second. On a stationary setup, an Intel Q6600 will render about 650 frames per minute and an Amd X2 6000+ about 320. On the other hand, a single core A64 3500+ will only do about 90. Dunno what you've got in your laptop but that should help you find out if it's up to HD editing.

I want to ride that How's the slick tyre performing on natural? Also, how much does it weigh?

Some buy bought a spare pair a few years ago never used it because he quit trials. Not that it's worth paying for postage, but I think there's a shop in the US which still stocks them.
