Argument for: Many of us have parts lying around which we'd like to get rid of but couldn't be bothered to make a topic. So a wanted forum would make it easier for us to sell these.

I'm sure it varies depending on nationality. It certainly doesn't seem accurate if you compare it to people on this forum. I don't fit into that description either, but that's roughly how things look like this end.

Good idea, good angles, good music, good editing, brilliant riding. But the vid was boring.

A bit OT, but it's strange how the riding style you choose depends on what character you have. I've got a mate who was studying sociology, he did an in depth analysis of what various groups of riders represent and this is roughly what he came up with - this was a few years ago so I could have got some things wrong. Found it quite interesting, but if you feel offended by this or disagree please remember it's not my opinion -XC riders are usually well off, over 24 years old, quite well educated, don't do drugs and rarely get really drunk -DH/FR riders are usually around 15-22 years old, want to get a good education, don't do drugs but like getting drunk, fond of clubbing. Parents are usually well off. -BMX riders - usually 17 and over, drugs aren't uncommon, they go to clubs with specific music (minimal techno is common amongst local riders), don't think much about their future -Trials riders - majority over 19, don't do drugs, don't drink much, aren't crazy about clubbing, concerned about their future, not too well off. The majority of local riders I know fit into this description.

Raynox HD3030 or something similar (that's a semi fisheye). It's of very good quality, will fit your camera with an adaptor ring which is included. Click

It's not easy to find a really good compound. For instance, Cousts have been in the lead for many years now and there aren't very many pads on the market that can match their performance. Obviously if you find an incredibly good compound, you're going to charge more for it since people will be prepared to pay more. It's the same with everything else, why is a 221Pr frame 4x cheaper than a 221Ti?

10,3kgs roughly. Could get it much lighter but it's built on durable parts which I think is more important than loosing another 500g.

It's best to buy brake pads from companies which specialize in such components. Usually, you'll find that the big trials brands expand their product range with brake pads just for the sake of producing every single trials part you can buy for a bike. This means you're buying pads which haven't undergone much r&d. Koxx is an exception but look at Echo, Viz, Monty - they're all awful. Give Neco a try or just get some Rock Pads, Heatsink or Plazzies.

Yeah, MOS is the stuff to listen to! Downloading the 2008 mash up right now. As for what you've written, it may sound harsh but I think you did the right thing and it's good you broke up. Continuing such a relationship can't have been good for you. I'm sure you'll soon find somebody you appreciate -
Love tea. Ahmed earl grey, Typhoo or Tea Direct. Like it as strong as possible with a bit of sugar so you can feel the bitterness and sweetness at the same time. Hate coffee

I feel for you man. If you're still in love after 7 months, it's not going to be easy. The only method I found remotely helpful was to spend a lot of time with other girls and force oneself to find them interesting and attractive. It's pretty hard and tedious, didn't work too well for me but i know a few mates who tried really hard and actually found new girlfriends who they didn't like at first. Now they're in love with each other. Thanks for the ideas, like them a lot. Simple and enjoyable I have no idea where this is going, but we've just got to get back together. The problem is that we're running out of time. She's going off to Cyprus for 3 months in June. I've got so many ideas to make things better but I just don't know if I'll be given the chance. Now that the weather is better, I'll be able to take her for a spin in my dad's MGA, I'm sure she'll love that. Could have a nice one day outing but she'll probably say she doesn't have time -

Yeah, exactly my concern. You're probably right guys. She was always going on about not having an mp3 player and having to use her phone so I thought it would be rather a practical gift. I'm sure she'll appreciate the flowers and a hand made card as well. As for her interests, I'm really stuck. Can't get her a book about corporate social responsibility or dietetics - as much as I'm interested in logistics, I'd never read a book about it and wouldn't appreciate getting one. She also likes watching movies and reading thrillers but since I'm not into books and hate films, I'll have no idea what I should buy. We went to a book store some time ago and she couldn't find anything interesting there so there's no chance I'll find her something alone. Same applies to her music taste Having written that, I'm not that surprised we broke up Are there any universal gifts that aren't too personal? I hate getting people impractical stuff. -

My ex's birthday is in 2 weeks. I still have huge hope we'll get back together in the future so I want to get her something. Thinking about sending her 21 roses and getting her an iPod but I'm not exactly sure that's a good idea since we're only friends now. What do you guys think? The expense doesn't worry me in the least, it's how she might react to something like that. -
What Magura Type Pads Work Best For Smooth Rims (no Grind)?
Greetings replied to Ezg_Cannuck's topic in Trials Chat
Haven't had much experience with smooth rims but I did run one on coust pads for a few rides and they were exceptional. -
A true legend of this sport. Can't think of any other rider who influenced the trials scene as much as him by just releasing videos.

Meh I wish i had such problems. How can you be with a girl and not love her? I know it's often the case, can't imagine it though. -
Firewire is a data transfer port, it has nothing to do with video resolution. HDV data rate is exactly the same as DV and firewire controllers can easily cope with such bandwidth. You've got a problem distinguishing HD from HDV.

I'd contact White Industries first. Tell them what happened, they should be able to give you some information about what the cause could be. Only then would I go to your LBS and ask them to explain what happened since you'll be able to assess if what they are saying is true. You can also check the remains for damage caused by ie. putting in a vice.

What's up with the brake mounts? It's got an Evo vee booster on there, no visible slaves .... ?
