This is quite interesting. I also work alone and most of my contact with other human beings during working hours is through a mobile but chiefly over communicators. I also live in a very remote location and have no friends nearby. I've been observing very similar changes in my behavior to you but not to the extent you talk about. It started after graduating from uni which is where I had most of my social relations. With that gone I was spending most of my time at work alone. Changes I've noticed are being more happy when alone (used to bother me), my social skills I think have taken a turn for the worse but it's hard to say, furthermore I'm completely fine with just having my gf, dad and occasionally two mates around. I've become a bit more alert in crowded areas and those bother me far more than they used to. I still cherish my friends and really enjoy spending time with them but I don't feel the urge to socialize as frequently as I used to.

One of these days when you get up and every single thing is a f**kup on someone's behalf. Seemed to have certain matters sorted out and now I'm back to square one.

Had a great ride yesterday, still improving. Slowly reaching a stage where I can do things I couldn't do before. Trials is becoming fun again, something I didn't expect to happen ever again

Together with all this I guess: http://www.eengoedidee.nl/videoz/?search_field=fil_type&search=bike-trials I can't believe that site is still online. Tv.isg.si seems to be down.

I'm pretty sure him and Huang (co owner) were riding in Echo Video 1. Not sure if that video is online somewhere, used to be available on eengodedideblagigooglidoodly. I can't believe it, the website still works. http://www.eengoedidee.nl/videoz/download.cgi?mem_id=67825&fil_unique=Q3jRetTM228AAATFSzE One of the riders is definitely Lee, Yao could be in there too. 27:30 for those who want a modern history lesson. Woo, and look who uploaded the video It's like travelling back in time.

I'll be spamming this thread a lot. Modified one of the pallets to allow for taps so going to re-learn these now. And specially for Dan, longer shorts. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M4tuUWA-3mA

I had some filler and yes, that did crack but I'd be quite surprised to see the arch itself crack. Probably depends on the car. It's imperative to take it slow and not rush it, the guys in the video look like they were in a bit of a hurry and couldn't care less about the looks. Then again, I didn't care too much either, if it was my daily driver I'd like a slightly better job to be honest.

Can someone tell me why there's so few E38 750i's for sale in the UK? I find this genuinely odd, you'd expect to be spoiled for choice. Plenty of 728's which again is rather unusual because those cars are the slowest things on four wheels.

Me too! It's really difficult to arrange obstacles in such a way that you get synergy from them if that's the right word. Still looking for ideas myself. It's very much a TGS type of setup, there's nothing technically challenging but that's what rocks are for, not wooden blocks. I'll send you some pics tomorrow.

Used the same method on the M3, recommend using a wooden pole. Works very well if you do it carefully.

3 weeks into riding after an 8 month break. Every ride seems to be a considerable improvement. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8bmK7UYWGrU

Riding is improving loads every day. It's actually weird. Annoyingly motivation will only last for another few weeks but if I continued riding for at least the next few months, I'd be pretty good and probably enjoy it even more due to the new possibilities.

Just shows what can be done if TGS riders put more effort into their videos and actually found interesting riding spots. It pains me to see riders like Damon just doing the same thing over and over again but on a differently coloured / textured wall because that's essentially what distinguishes one shot from another. Wasted skills. Andy on the other hand... well, that's a completely different story.

My Vanoses arrived at a German rebuild company and I'm slightly proud to say they were described as being the worst units they ever saw. After checking one unit for good solenoids and finding none, they checked the other unit and found one (each unit has 4). The irony is that rather than connect each solenoid using the factory harness and plug, they found all the electrics (being a plug, cable and diode) fubar on every single solenoid and had to re-solder each of them to one of their own plugs. So on the plus side my Vanos was completely and utterly f**ked beyond a German's worst nightmare and when fixed, it could improve engine performance quite a bit. What's not so fun is what caused this. We don't know and I don't want an 800 Euro rebuild going to pot just because there's something wrong in the engine wiring loom or electrical system on the car.

I want to see you ride this bike. Not just a clip but a whole video.

Ok this is one of the funniest rally videos I've ever seen. Rather incompetent driver and a very patient co driver with an Indian accent. Doesn't get much better than that https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=10152406763249973&set=vb.68262729972&type=3&permPage=1 There's plenty of other videos on that page worth watching. edit: Actually, here's more:

Wash it, clay it, polish it. Polishing without claying could result in even worse swirls and scratches. There are quite a few detailers on here, you're bound to get a detailed reply.

Watching your own riding video from 6 years ago and concluding you can't repeat a single move sucks As much as I'm going to try and match that riding this year I get the silly feeling there isn't enough time. Riding over here sucks, it gets really cold in November and if you're lucky it gets warm again late March. So every year you go through the process of reminding yourself how to ride, then progressing a bit, maintaining that level and then bam! snow.

Yep, BMW Imolarot 2, had some left over from various jobs on the car. The idea was to basically get the two looking similar. Probably not much help but from a rider sponsored by Echo. Sanding, cleaning with nitro and silicone remover, then base coat directly onto the metal (probably a bad idea but it seems to have stuck well). Had to do about 3-4 colour coats and 3 clear coats. The rims were done in a similar fashion but using acrylic paint, not 2pack. Less work considering it doesn't require a clear coat. My friend now has it He uses it as a decoration but as far as I'm aware, the frame is still in good shape. I seem to recall a certain Mr Travis purchasing my silver hub shell ages ago so shame on you! Joking aside yeah, a black hub would look much better but I'm not fussed.
-
Dear god. It looks like you could break your neck in that if you turned the wheel too quickly.
-
Could be some merit in that but the materials they now use are ridiculously poor. My friend snapped 2 heavy duty axles clean in half when he was a beginner, doing nothing (inc. drops) larger than wheel height. Haven't heard of anyone who purchased a recent King and was happy with it.
-
Either 18:17 or 17:16, not sure now.
-
Got slightly bored with my bike, sprayed the rims white and the frame in imola red.
