Lots of happy. Went to the track, did lots of driving and managed to lap the track in a time which seems to be a record for a no aero/stock engined M3. Talk about euphoria... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fwnrbCu6oqI

Dan you're so tiny!

Usually start off by riding small stuff 1-3 pallets high, rarely going onto the rear wheel. Once I feel like my muscles are more responsive I get off the bike and stretch my arms and legs. Then move onto medium moves before doing stuff which is closer to my limit.

Done. I hope they will get it back.

That would have been too much of a coincidence. After some time in Google I think this vehicle is a one off. Found an advert for one in exactly the same colour from the same country. I want to do the right thing here but don't want to get myself into trouble...

Got a serious dilemma. A guy I know (and I need to state this very clearly that we are NOT friends) called me up an hour ago after 2 years of not seeing each other and said he wants to come over. I agreed, we met under my house and then he said he wants to show me something. We went outside the premises and walked to a car carrier he arrived in (a Crafter if I'm not mistaken) but custom modified with features I've never seen in my life and I use such things frequently. He said it's for sale but has no documents. Then says he stole it last night because the keys were inside. The vehicle had a website address on it which I quickly wrote down on my phone in facebook messenger, pretending to be responding to a friends message. Now the problem is this - if we did not know each other, I would turn him in in a heartbeat and get in touch with the company from that website. But if I turn him in he is going to assume it was me. He does seem to trust me guessing by some of the information he gave me about his activities but he's not stupid. And I'm going to be in a world of shit if he decides to get his revenge. That carrier is probably worth 30-50k Euro so it must have been insured. What do I do?

This is NOT sped up. Absolute madness. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=10152207561627683&set=vb.10712122682

If anyone's interested (probably not) here's an onboard from the last sprint comp. Finished last due to bad tyres, this run was done on borrowed tyres and managed to get the 2nd best time. It's mostly 90deg. bends but this is actually my favourite round of the year, it's incredibly challenging. Most drivers from each class will arrive within 0.5s making every single moment during the run count. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pGWkf65tO2c

Presumably the rim factory. Or, if I got you wrong, your local Echo dealer.

My bike in it's latest form - Echo SL 26" stealthy

Can we have a video of you riding? -
New ride height for a very bumpy comp. Should be ok despite it essentially being my track setup from 2 weeks ago. Also set the rear ARB to very stiff and front to soft to counter the front inner wheel lifting off the ground in corners. This also surprised me a lot, probably caused by a stone which flew off a car driving in front of me on the last trackday. Kind of surprised, that glass is bloody thick and you'd need to try hard to damage it with a hammer.

Incredibly close call and a brilliant reaction from the driver on a national hillclimb event. Right vid is the 1st car, left is the 2nd car. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bFyECEgXLUA

Other news say he's communicating with his family which if true can only mean good things. If that's true (which sounds a bit unlikely considering he's been in a coma for 6 months and only woke up recently) I would expect him to make a pretty decent recovery. Such people have an incredibly strong will and that's more than half the success. Look at Kubica for instance, he almost lost his hand and is now competing in WRC.

One more - toast with cheddar grilled for a few minutes and then heavily dipped in Worcestershire sauce or with a nice helping of HP sauce.

Marmite but only if done right. Toast needs to be cool, butter mustn't melt and should create a smooth sufrace over the toast. Then Marmite should be applied in the correct quantity over the butter. If it touches the toast, it's fubar.

Went to a trackday, really enjoyed myself. Track driving isn't boring at all, there's so much skill involved. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JTRBMinGHpE

Well my friend is definitely out for the time being http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7tatmM2IH9E I'm having second thoughts about taking part in a Czech rally in a few months, really risky stuff. The reason for the above crash was an engine management issue, the car was running ~100bhp for much of the run (hence the lights) and then suddenly regained full power just before a sharp bend.

From 8 years ago, this was a really terrifying experience... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MM0nlFS057I

Smoking them is probably healthier Made a small alteration to my frenchies and found it made a massive difference. I've been doing them wrong for at least 5 years. They are so easy now it's almost weird, the height has improved by 10cm. Riding constantly improving which is keeping me motivated. Overall really happy with this year in terms of trials. Better skills also means more riding spots which I couldn't previously ride on because they were too big. Really happy

Got the M3 going again, my mechanic assembled a diff from a spare crown wheel and pinion I had. It seems to be working but not going to last long. Due to the local track being governed by idiots I had to install a stock exhaust and now I can hear a farting exhaust manifold I couldn't hear before. The sound is awful, I hate it. All in all the car feels disappointing, as soon as I return from the track day we need to get it ready for a comp - yet another diff rebuild, need to drop the engine and do the exhaust manifold too. Not happy I'd like this car working properly again, my friend keeps bugging me because he's found some brilliant gravel roads somewhere nearby and I want to go but don't have a car!

Ultra deep field from the Hubble telescope, an image which apparently took almost 10 years to capture. Each dot is a galaxy and the image is just a tiny fraction of the sky.
