  1. Link for the lazy f**kers out there?
  2. Just had the weirdest dream in my life and a completely lucid one. I was having a nap on my bed and my dream among other things was that I'm on my bed but in a hotel not being able to get up. I'd feel like I'm getting up but when I looked, I was still in exactly the same position as before whilst the missus was waiting in a restaurant and getting impatient. I really wanted to get out of bed but couldn't, I would see my legs move as if I was doing it but my body remained on the bed. I even deliberately fell out of bed onto the floor and felt the impact but then realized I'm still on it. I believed this was because I was on some sort of drugs which I had previously taken before driving a car to the hotel. All I can remember from that bit of the dream was that I wanted to stop for a red light but my legs went completely numb and I couldn't. I finally moved my leg with my hands and accelerated past it just as it went red. Part of the dream was also having violent diarrhea in the hotel in a manner probably more suited to Family Guy than anything that would really happen. I wanted to go to the loo but a massive elevator escaped and I could see it going a floor below me. It had a huge TV screen on the top. Then it turned out the floor I was standing on was an elevator and it stared moving down which enabled me to get to the toilet. That's where I should probably stop.
  3. The problem with Crewkerz was the freewheel unless Dave is talking about other issues I'm not aware of.
  4. Loved it. RBP was amazing but this video was much more fun in my opinion.
  5. Diff returned from a rebuild. Someone probably forgot to look at the teeth. After doing 500m in that car I was certain the diff is about to break up. We pulled it apart and:
  6. He's still the original powerhouse. So glad to see a video from him, brings back great memories.
  7. Doesn't deserve it's own thread. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cVj8Q-amlgM
  8. Don't have the mindset to do that. But it would be a good bit of practice to get my brain "unlocked". Think I'll just get re-acquainted with the current record and then add 2cm as I go along
  9. 110cm which I guess by this forums' standards is small but by my standards it's f**king massive
  10. 6 years after setting my last sidehop record, I've finally done it again Most limiting factor is still my mind although constantly pushing myself lately has improved this a lot. I'm sure I could go 5cm bigger if I didn't second guess myself all the time and think "nah, this won't happen" while already on the rear wheel.
  11. There's so much win in that pic.
  12. Sooo funny but also pretty cool. Imagine walking in on him as he's taking his first steps or just listening to him from behind the doors. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uRKHCRR9-C4
  13. Ok I'll go and buy some RTV tomorrow. Better safe than sorry. Forteh - too much fuss to be honest but thanks for the tip, I didn't know such solutions were available. Might come in handy in the future
  14. Probably a BMW gasket But since that thing needs a rebuild every 250 miles there's probably no point in getting one.
  15. Haha assumed RTV was some special formula for high temp applications I've got silicone but it's just ordinary stuff for windows etc. The properties listed are not far off that Loctite thing. Was wondering if I could use that rather than have to go and buy something, that way I could have the car running tomorrow evening. Anything related to that car and especially the diff which keeps giving trouble l like to double check. edit: Signed up for a trackday, going on the 9th of next month. Can't wait, I've visited the local track about 40 times and probably done 2 full laps in my life. All the events I took part in so far were either sprint or drift so we'd never get a normal lap in. Lovely place though: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QoKtgRhHkJk Amazing lines from that Porsche driver, I've seen better from people who have gone round there for the first time in their lives having no previous contact with motorsport.
  16. Looked up that RTV thing, I'm too poor http://www.seton.com/loctite-superflexand-174-red-high-temp-rtv-silicone-adhesive-sealants-cc485.html What could happen if I used silicone which stands up to 120C and exceeded that temperature? Thanks for the advice on alcohol, used nitro thinner. Is alcohol better or does it remove different contaminants?
  17. Killed no, you might lose drive depending on what gives. Whatever breaks it'll be incredibly loud and you might briefly feel like you're in a tumble dryer.
  18. Quick question. I'm assembling the diff, need to get the cover back on. I always see this sealed with a black sealant presumably to stop leaks. I've only got silicone which will tolerate temps of up to 120C - I think the diff gets hotter than that. What can happen if the seal is exposed to higher temperatures? Can I use that silicone or should I look for something else? It goes on that flat bit.
  19. ^ Exactly that. Just saw this. Now that's racing on the limit! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EeUx1tZeuqA
  20. 4 wheel drive cars are never good track cars. If taken to the extreme they'll be good time attack machines but only at ridiculous power outputs. Anything under 500bhp in a 4wd car can usually be beaten by 350+ in a RWD car on a quick circuit. If you want a quick track car and daily driver I'd recommend something along the lines of a slightly modded E46 M3. You'd probably have to be a maniac to drive an Evo daily, lots of my friends have these cars and not one uses his outside comps. The M3 on the other hand is very user friendly.
  21. Epic tune, lots of happy https://soundcloud.com/la-roux-official/la-roux-uptight-downtown
  22. LHM has higher viscosity than MRB resulting in stickier brake lever.
  23. Plug it into a diagnostic computer and you'll soon find out what the problem is.
  24. Hardly bike chat. Anyway, videos like this really make me wonder what's wrong with that country. It's like not even the 3rd world.
  25. Last few minutes were epic, the rest I found a tiny bit meh but it's always great to see a new video from him regardless. Must say I missed bystanders in that video, far prefer the urban stuff where there's people watching.
