    Speed!

My best riding down hill on a xc bike was just below 70km/h, on a flat road with the wind blowing in my back - about 52km/h. I don't think I'd get over 40km/h on my mod bike riding down hill though, it just gets too unstable.
  3. You'd be lucky They'll charge you a european price if you order one from abroad. And that's not worth while. So either have it sent on by somebody in Poland, or get an XTP or 221Ti Write them an e-mail if you're interested, judging by their site they do understand english.
  4. Would be interesting for somebody to 'shopp it and put a 20" wheel, fork and mod stem in.
  5. Mikebike just designed them, Mielec welds them. It's just like old BT's, no idea where they weld them now. Mielec also makes and designs their own frames and builds custom frames. So in other words, it's like in china - Koxx, Echo, Yabba - all welded in the same factory.
  6. clean the rear disc thoroughly with washing up fluid or an alcohol and then swap the front pads with the rear, see how that works. don't run the rear pads on the front though, just in case you contaminate the disc this should basically tell you what is wrong. dunno why im writing this here though edit: jersey rider: no wonder, bt originated from this factory, heatsink is still produced there
  7. Happy 27th birthday Would have made you a present in 3ds but have totally forgot how to use it. Hands up all of you who haven't looked into his profile after reading this.
  8. Heard that as well. But, if it were the case toothpaste/alcohol bottles/food in cans, jars/other liquids in sealed containers would explode. And also, there is very low pressure on the plane (in the baggage compartment) as you are flying at a hight where there is little air. They say there are also very low temperatures (below freezing) in the luggage compartment but if that were the case, the items listed above would explode as well. Bollocks, if you are afraid, take the hydraulics off and take it with you into the plane. The bike can easily be packed into a big case. Done that before, no problems. Brakes were v's though. It is also said that shock absorbers can get damaged.
  9. Very good idea, looking foward to this Please contact me if you do
  10. And so the fashion for Ashtons has gobbled up another member of T-F Nice bike though, they look far better in silver.
  11. Lots of rocks in my garden Live closer to the city HDV camera Laptop A wanking machine Lots of 60W light bulbs and 15W red light bulbs A "kill all the mosquitoes with the press of a button" machine Somebody who looks like me and would pass all my exams 3 girlfriends A Vinco Mod A huge cardboard box 2lb of gold A nice car and lots of petrol (NSX or Skyline would be great) A room full of fluff Something that would make me more proportional (extend the legs for instance) a 2 metre allen key
  12. ^^ seconded (Will's post not Jake's) beautiful bike! the frame needs to be black though, as you planned it to be edit: why should the wheelbase affect the bb rise?
  13. Either make a removable disc mount adaptor (which can be done easily and will be durable) or forget about running a rear disc.
  14. None actually, just collecting some funds to buy myself an E2. They look absolutely ace, and judging by the opinions here it's money well spent.
  15. The only things I liked about this vid were the sweet bike and the sweater the black haired chap was wearing

    Spring Jam 06

very nice vid indeed, not repetitive, and some awesome riding there. what's that hawaii express frame? looks like a python with large wheels far too small for a pitbull
  17. Just what I thought You guys sure can ride well but please introduce more variety into your movies. The first few minutes bored the s**t out of me. Too few riding spots. But yeah, was worth downloading. Hope to see more spots in your next movie!
  18. loving the front wheel ups, how do you do them so smoothly
  19. me too, I hate rails in general
  20. Is it a Rover V8 engine? I heard they weigh no more than the standard engine and don't affect the roadholding in the slightest.
  21. 1038mm - Python 05 with standard thickness headset cups and medium chain tension
